"If a cop is trying to kill you, just let him!" - Woody
That’s a liberal for you
He's obviously being sarcastic you moron
All cops are what?
Average woody hater vs sarcasm
Woody should have never gotten introduced to weed
Woody, bro, I normally stick up for you, but I can't on this one bro. These are regular human beings. They just have a badge and a gun. They are just as prone to mistakes and fear as the next man. Under NO circumstances, should anyone, with a badge or otherwise, be allowed to just enter someone's premises with hostility. That should 100% of the time be met with hostility
Right so just wait for the terrorist with a plan to leave his house THEN it's fair game. Or the robbery suspect who managed to get home during the pursuit? That's home base, will have to try again another day. You're dumb as fuck. Should a cop come into your house without legal and reasonable cause? No. But NEVER? Under no circumstances? Fuck off.
Hes trolling
@@tombiocca3280 he's not smart enough to troll
woodE is blinded and disconnected from the rest of everyone cause he’s wealthy. His interaction with police has been best case scenario for him each time. He answered the door with a fucking weapon in his hand once in an attempted swatting and they were chill enough to not blast him on the spot.
@@tombiocca3280 No, he isn't. Woody's brain is simply incapable of critical thought. He's proven it time and time again.

It already is, it's your 4th amendment right.
I'm aware of the 4th amendment, not sure if the police are though...
It is, it's called the 4th and 2nd Amendment.
Seriously- what do you think the rest of the gang is gonna do once you gun down one of their officers? Just be like “whelp- it’s the law!” And let it slide? Naw- you’re whole family is gonna be the next ruby ridge. Martyr manufactory law. Y’all are letting your emotions override reality.
3:10 To clarify: The guy wasn't unarmed, he had the fish sword (Yes) on him when he opened the door. He put it away when he realised it was the police knocking (as they didn't announce themselves), and then tased him for not doing what they wanted. Then they went into his house and planted the sword in the hallway. Whole thing is on their bodycam...
Also one of the cops is arrested and the other fired
and he has since died from a stroke i think
Did the neighbor get charged for making a false statement that led to this. She's just as much to blame almost
Holy shit, I thought I was finally going to be on Woodys sides until he said "If a cop busts in your house and starts shooting, comply."
Is shooting back really the best move though?
@@pt7145 If it's one cop, probably. I'd rather fight in court to prove he got a wrong address or mistook identities or didn't follow protocol rather than get executed in front of my family. Assuming the cop is literally busting in the door and shooting.

2:40 that's only in the big cities.
Out here in the country those two cops can quite literally disappear. So yes, they do indeed show respect when I answer the door with my revolver.😇👍
You damn right!
Stay strapped, my friend.
The Axe man referenced here was actually given 3 warnings to drop the axe at which time he raised the axe into an overt throwing position aimed at the cop. The distance here is approx 26 ft. The average axe throwing distance in which drunk people can throw an axe and hit a target is right around 12ft. For those of you who assume this was cold blooded murder, please allow your friends to throw one axe at your from 26 ft away. This will give you some more perspective.
I bet I could dodge it
Yes. I'm not totally on board with how it played out. I think the cop shouldn't have closed distance with him to begin with tho. I taught my daughter how to throw hatchets. We'd do it when bored. Even she got pretty dam deadly proficient with one. Then, even when a heavy ass hatchet moving at those speeds doesn't hit edgewise perfectly, they still bash the shit out of targets. I can't imagine if that's your skull. So you don't even have to be good at throwing one to achieve your end goal with axes ffs. They're alot more deadly than many think. That guy should have never "cocked" it back like that.
Secondly, it's still a bladed weapon. Any trained weapons expert will tell you that a person can run, and stab a person way faster than a person can draw and fire. While yes he was already drawn and aimed, there's still no guarantee one, or even ten shots will stop a crazed loon hopped up on God knows what. That why I said the best thing to do is to utilize the fact your gun is a long range weapon and minimalize the likelihood they can hurt you by increasing the distance.
At the end of the day, on paper will this will likely read as a justified shooting.
Cops need better training. Civilians need to listen less to all this shit they hear on TV and internet and learn to comply when asked to do so. This is a perfect storm of both examples. Nothing good comes out of these. But yeah just drop the frikken axe and don't be threatening people. That's the first thing. Now 2 lives are ruined. Just a bad scenario any way ya look at it.
Woody, pal, I can't really "just comply" after I've been murdered in my own bed, can I?
Imagine a cop unlawfully comes into woodys house and shoots his kids 😂😂
Woody would assume the cop had a good reason to kill his kids, he'd then apologize to the officer for the trouble.
Based cop
He’s trolling retard
I'm pretty sure the guy with the hatchet cocked his arm back like he was gonna throw the hatchet
He held it up and began to say “listen man” then the cop shot him in the head from 30 feet away how the hell would the guy hit the cop with the axe from that distance even and the cop should have kept distancing himself and tried to de-escalate the situation idc if the man has a record or was making threats prior to the cops getting there and their supposed to be able to make the right decisions in these kind of situations, it’s a completely unjustified and very avoidable shooting the cop should never wear a badge again.
@@bennettanderson4431 people like you are the reason the phrase, "damned if you do damned if you dont" exists... you people are unbelievable
@@bennettanderson4431 Yeah its morally wrong, but not legally wrong for the cop to take action at that point.
I dont live in the states and i even know that, if a US cop pulls a gun on anyone like that, their top prority should be to avoid doing anything which makes it easy for a defense lawyer to argue that you were a clear and present danger/credible threat.
Raising the axe above the head is the difference between that cop being punished severely or getting off scott free... and he knew it... every US citizen should know it, their life may depend on it.
You go ahead and try hitting a target accurately from thirty feet with a regular hatchet. We'll all wait the seven weeks it'll take for you to get anywhere close.

Why does Woody look like a thumb
That lighting is terrible on woody, dude looks like he's aged 10 years in this.
kyle based
Cops do be killing and framing
I live in Kentucky, so I'm neighbouring Indiana.
I too am absolutely thrilled that this law passed.
Allow me to explain why.
The way I see it, the only cops that this law potentially harms are the bad cops.
If you're a good cop, one who's well trained and stays within your legal boundaries, then this law will have zero effect on you. The only cops who are mad about this laws existence are the ones who realize that it only makes getting away with, oftentimes literal murder, much more difficult.
Sure, one could argue that it puts the police at higher risk, as someone might try to justify shooting an officer while he's on a traffic stop. But that's not what this law enables, and if you're willing to shoot a cop over a traffic ticket, you're the kind of person the police should be going after anyway.
I'm so goddamn sick and tired of police officers, those meant to protect and serve, being held to a lower standard than civilians in regards to self-defense.
Its absurd, and I believe this to be a step in the right direction.
Godspeed.
Stay strapped.

I think he was joking this time personally
As someone from the uk I understand the logic of the law, protect yourself from illegal activity. But mistakes are going to be made from that law.
But the reality is if you try to kill police entering your property, they’re going to kill you or come after you legally.
Adding guns to every situation just adds potential for mistakes in my opinion but they’re a necessity in America whereas there isn’t the same requirement for them here.
You have to ask yourself which is worse?

Woody just had to throw Kyle Rittenhouse in at the end...
That’s not gonna end well for the home owner unfortunately. If they are coming in arms drawn it’s not a single cop. So now you shot at or even hit one, and the others are not thinking..oh it’s the wrong house this guy obeyed the law.
thats why they want to restrict magazine capacity
That’s why you have a small infantry cannon set up on the top of your staircase loaded with grapeshot
thats why you have large metal cubes welded to your ceiling and floor so they have to bottleneck themselves to get to you
Literally my thought. I love the idea of the law but all its going to do is create a massive gunfight between a household and the cops and eventually swat and possibly military. You aren't just going to shoot a cop and they are going to pack up and leave. No trial either they'll kill you on the spot
Man, Count here is REALLLL bad about stepping on EVERYONE and just cutting everyone off….🤦♂️
The cop's only defense could've been "Oh i saw him pointing something at me", but that obviously isn't the case when he yelled "put the ax down" lol
This cop should get charged with manslaughter, not only did he shoot someone for pointing an axe at them at 20-30 feet, he APPROACHED the guy before getting "SCARED FOR HIS LIFE"...
You know, I know they said it as a joke, but sending him to Ukraine doesn't sound like a bad idea, he has that hyper-macho-tacticool voice to him when he murdered that poor man in cold blood when talking to dispatch and he remained prety calm when calling out all his cool-guy codes, and that leads me to believe he is ex-military, which a lot of cops tend to be. I think he'd make a good radioman for a forward observer type MOS, obviously under the command over someone who isn't an NPC like he is.

I have a shotgun ready at all times with one in the chamber well I cock it they take off running me defending my land I walk out the door gun pointing at a car with lights on (me not knowing it's a cop car) they never said police or anything even the cop said he never said police. So there I am in my underwear pointing a loaded gun at cops finger on trigger. Guess what they never pulled their guns or anything they knew they were on my land and trespassing so I could've shot. But I know the cops personally from high-school so I never pushed for anything but it could've ended very badly.
"Things that never happened" for $500, Alex.
When a cop tells to put down the weapon you do it or take your chance from lead poison.
Also, if a cop tells you to drop the weapon, and you raise it in an attempt to throw it at the cop, or threaten to throw it, then your shooting death is justified.
@@pkz420 Don't you think the tone of his voice after firing is rather inappropriate?
@@fletcherw32 I don't care about his tone, or feelings in any way. The shoot was a direct reaction to being threatened with deadly force.
Even if the cop was Hitler, the shoot was still according to the rules and mandate of being a cop. It does not matter how I or anyone *feels* about it. I feels badly about any death, but sometimes they need to happen.
@@pkz420 I don't think this one needed to happen, despite it being correct procedurally. Many steps toward de escalation or re enforcement were overlooked that would have been attempted by European Police. I feel like this was cold blooded execution. Strictly from the officer's emotional reaction to what he's done. It may be legal but everyone who's seen that footage knows what they've seen. Just from your reaction I expect you're strictly adhering to some political compass, but at a certain point shouldn't your morality have some say?

"Said Zach without a lick of irony, never having run or so much as jogged any distance in the past five years."
@@lucasottens8506 Well it takes 1.5 seconds to cover 21 feet. And that's from a standstill. So 2 seconds for 35 feet isn't an unreasonable extrapolation.
How fast does a thrown hatchet cover that distance? Cause he cocks the hatchet back and that's when he gets shot.
Common shit woody take
Just comply with police commands and you won't get hurt. If its unlawful, take it to court and you might even get paid. Simple as that. A lot of times dispatch gets mixed up and relays bad Intel to the officers. Maybe the guy at 111 is causing a disturbance and dispatch says 1111 to the cops. Its not their fault if they show up at 1111 and the guy is confused about what's going on. Its literally like that game of "Telephone" when you were a kid. If the guy at 1111 complies, the situation can get sorted out relatively quickly. If he's an asshole and doesn't comply he could get hurt or killed and that doesn't solve anything
Ah yes, just comply with the police all the time no matter if it's unlawful or not. That surely won't be a terrible idea that'll lead to even more unlawful actions because people should let them do whatever they want. Surely that hasn't lead to horrible events even if they did comply.
What kind of logic is that? Do you get all your information on mainstream media too? I don't generally hate the police like many people I know because hating every police officer is ignorant. But what's more ignorant is believing your logic won't result in the worst police officers abusing their power even more because "just comply and it'll be ok".
Is this Woody's alternative account?
Crazy how people don’t realize that mental illness and dumb people exist within every profession and it doesn’t matter how many systems you have in place humans will always be at fault . It’s a human problem not a “ being a cop “ problem . People hate cops but don’t wanna be cops to change that .

"People hate cops but don’t wanna be cops to change that"
That goes for anything in life. The majority of people want to make a change but laziness and unwillingness (along with other hoops but those two are the most prominent) prevents them from doing so. That and I wouldn't be surprised if some places specifically hire those types of bad cops because they're "Yes Men" who follow orders to a T, but are expendable enough to fire without consequence.
@@TeamOneDay I agree with that . But my problem will always be people not acknowledging that this is a bad human problem and not a bad cop problem . It’s kinda weird to judge a group of people based on the actions of few .
