If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times. ....one of the best soprano voices existing today. To add to that she has a beautiful personality and visage.
As a fellow Australian like Mirusia is, I can assure you that in person at her now own shows, that voice soars within the hall she is performing at with her normal ten piece band. My wife and I have seen her live four times now and are booked again on the 8th May next month. One of my friends lives not fat away from where she lives in an area known as The Redlands in Southern Brisbane. He says that the girl you see on screen is the girl in person. A bubbling personality who is very friendly and very natural. We are all so proud of her. Her shows consist of all genres of music from Opera to Jazz, pop and theatre music.

Not sure if i got tears in my eyes cos of the choir, Mirusia, or that i see people actually disliked this.... Barbarians! I remember coming home after a football match and my dad was watching the show. This whole performance just captured me. The voice of Mirusia and the choir gave me goosebumps. This performance just hits right in the feels. Bravo!

I found this piece by accident -- the family was watching a movie, and this song (although I don't think it was this version of the song) came on as accidental music in one scene. We were all entranced. Did a little research, got here. Just a fantastic piece of music (thank you Mr. Verdi), and Mirusia did it justice with her measured, exquisite soprano. Wonderful.

Bella versione ,bella voce, anche in HD (anche se era difficile farla brutta vista la sua semplicità).Complimenti a Verdi che con quattro accordi ha fatto un piccolo capolavoro.
Sembra un brano facile. In effetti la stesura non appare complicata con pochi accordi e un solo sviluppo centrale particolare ma implica una difficoltà interpretativa a mio avviso piuttosto elevata. Si perdona qualche sbavatura linguistica al soprano ma l insieme lo trovo eccellente.

So beautiful and touching. Played this piece with the Mastreechter Staar at my mom's funeral and played it for her a few days before she passed away. Even she was so ill, she enjoyed it and so proud of my husband he is singing in the choir of the Mastreechter Staar.
