Are the front doors still the original T5 doors? I’ve been keen to swap on a t6 or 6.1 front end onto my t5.1 - but unsure if the factory mounded flare lines are the same between the doors
Swap the cam pulley and sensor mate.The tags on the back of the pulley are different. I just done the same thing with a fabia engine into a t5. Kept it standard for now. Don't think the 5 speed gearbox would like 200hp
What bhp/torque did it have? And was I the standard T5 gearbox?

i have an 2005 vw t5 2.5 tdi axe 174 hp tuned to 240 hp dsg its quick but i would like to swap the engine to an 5 cyl audi rs3 or tt blok

i think so dude but not absolutely sure on that as it was a customer build
yes it is the t5 and t6 are the same only the looks not
What’s the approx labour spend on the engine swap?
Can you tell me about the cam sensor mod and pulley I've been told needs doing as I've got this engine in my van and don't think it's been done.
