U can hook it up to your computer iTunes or whatever software Apple is using these days and reset your phone from a back up as long as u have your username and password u won’t need the pin. If you don’t have any of those then you won’t be able to unlock it and Apple won’t help they have trust issues.
Yikes! There is a lot of bots down here! i had gotten my brothers old phone fixed up for me but it said to connect to itunes since it was disabled after i got it back from the repair shop. NOTHING WORKED! But then I came here and saw to select the file whilst recovering and it fixed the issue.

This does not work. I followed the method to restore my daughters iPad 7 and when i download IOS it opens iTunes. It does not give me a file and device is not recognized and will not connect to computer at all.

There's a Find My iPhone method so if you sign in to your Apple ID then you click your iPhone and then it will find it then there's an option called "Erase iPhone" then click it then it will erase the iPhone then you will set up your new passcode and everything. You can do the Find My iPhone method on any iOS, iPadOs or MacOS.

Hi, I messed up😢. I clicked restore without waiting for your lecture on pressing Option:(. Now, what can I do? I unplug the cable and restart the process, but the restore window never pop up again.

Enormous waste of time. Title says "Regain Access". Title should say "Restore" to factory. Clickbait-ish. Only, you'll waste several hours if you're like me. Do no follow these steps if you're trying to recover data from your iphone, bc this will NOT help that situation. This video is only good if you want to restore a iphone to blank factory state. You will lose anything you had on the phone.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! It took a couple hours but it worked. The charger port had some deficiencies so I realized I had to hold it good for it to transfer data and connect from phone to computer. Thank you. Words of advise is to make sure that charger port is connected good. I kept getting error message -1 and -18. So that meant it was a hardware issue. After charger cable was connected by me holding it, everything went through successfully.

When in the process of resetting, it takes wayyy longer than normal, around two hours. And the Iphone can only be in recovery mode for around 15 minutes. Is there a way to fix this?
