NOTHING WORKED! But then I came here and saw to select the file whilst recovering and it fixed the issue. Thanks Dan!

U can hook it up to your computer iTunes or whatever software Apple is using these days and reset your phone from a back up as long as u have your username and password u won’t need the pin. If you don’t have any of those then you won’t be able to unlock it and Apple won’t help they have trust issues.

Enormous waste of time. Title says "Regain Access". Title should say "Restore" to factory. Clickbait-ish. Only, you'll waste several hours if you're like me. Do no follow these steps if you're trying to recover data from your iphone, bc this will NOT help that situation. This video is only good if you want to restore a iphone to blank factory state. You will lose anything you had on the phone.

The charger port had some deficiencies so I realized I had to hold it good for it to transfer data and connect from phone to computer. Thank you. Words of advise is to make sure that charger port is connected good. I kept getting error message -1 and -18. So that meant it was a hardware issue. After charger cable was connected by me holding it, everything went through successfully.
