I cannot get past the lock screen on my iPhone 5S to download data and it was not backed up anywhere. I know the data is still there - I need to obtain texts, will this compromise data?. The screen shows “disabled” because I tried too many times, I have the four-digit passcode now. The phone itself is not damaged, clock works, emergency call screen comes up but I don’t want to just reset as that deletes data . unless the data can still be recovered if the phone itself is broken, I am not interested in the phone after data is recovered. Can something be accomplished without losing data?
