Then I’ll check Oli and Idea basements for scavs to kill, if not there, I go up oli escalator to kill scavs then extract. I usually never die and get some pretty decent loot there.
The chance of running successfully is far better there than in the resort for example. Less close quarters but more long range which requires long range weapons. When people shoot at you, you're most likely already behind cover.
Just had a loot run on reserve a bit ago. Brought in a ks23, some meds, no helm, comtacs, m1 rig, trizip bag. Saw 1 player at the beginning and my buddy shredded him pretty quickly and took all his stuff. Ran to black pawn, buddy looted the marked room, got a mag case and an ak. I looted all the other stuff except the 1 keyroom. Went to black bishop looted dropdown and got a cofdom. Then went to white king and looted all the servers and intel spawns in there, got some meh loot. Then headed to extract. Came out with at least 700k in stuff, 2 hke1's, 1 cofdom, bitcoin, and mcb, 1 intel and a bunch of other random attachments and ammo. 700k just from looting rooms, boxes and loose loot ( not even a single keyroom for me). My buddy had a bit better stuff than me. Imagine that but with 1 person. Money can be so easy to get if you know where to get it
How to make money in Tarkov: Be good at Tarkov. Just being cheeky and commenting for the algorithm. Some good reminders here even for an experienced player, and entertaining as always.
Note on the stashes: Found Ghzel-K (class 5) several times, also spawns TV110s, good helmets and comtacs, and now they spawn intel, flash drives and some other nasties like weapons too. Customs is great for them overall.
I got a class 6 armor from a ground cache in Customs. That's my map for sure and I think it's seriously underrated for making money. It's very easy to survive and avoid players if you're paying attention to early combat and recognizing which side of the map the action is on.
I can really recommend the new lvl 5 armor. It has low durability, but it can save you in the event of an unexpected player encounter, not many people loot it and it repairs amazingly, even if completely zeroed out. Totally worth it imo
Pestily have an idea that might help people as well. See if you can find a way to jump your audio up to show people the audio you pick up on. Just an idea as always great work by you and your editors.
Here's a run I used quite a bit fairly recently: Night raid interchange, get inside and get to the top floor, check if the power is on. Surprisingly a lot of the time it isn't, I guess a lot of people are doing quests because the main rooms don't get rushed as hard. If you can hold the top floor for a while you can potentially get the loot in techlite (or immediately if you have the best spawn for it) and kill killa from upstairs while watching the entrance to kiba. Once the raid has like 15 minutes left, sprint to the power and back again, hit ultra, open the safe room extract, head down to kiba and then extract. I had multiple raids in a row where I got techlite, ultra and kiba, and sometimes killa's loot. was making 1-3 mil for each successful raid and barely ever died. More people may be doing this now if they've realised that night interchange raids are kinda empty, but the main reason this worked so well is because of how few people I ran into, and rarely anyone with max chad gear, literally most of the raids the power wouldn't get turned on and you'd maybe see one or 2 rats at most. Edit: You also don't need night vision at all, maybe a flashlight at most if you're not as familiar with the map
One thing i would add is spending a little time in the shooting range (once unlocked) it's a good way to get your aim dialed in with your kit. You make the best videos though. Thanks!
I used to run into Factory with a PMC, run up hallway, end a guys life, nick his gun and run out. Always good XP for a 2 minute run and you end up with weapons which you can either sell or keep
started playing last week learned to do the cache run on shoreline like this vid said and i made 600k rubels and now im over 1 mil rubels im excited to learn how to make more rubels this vid did help me a ton so thanks @Pestily
A huge tip I could give is learn where the raiders and bosses spawn on maps ESPECIALLY reserve. Most of the time you can find a pile of dead bodies and just stock up and if you're lucky enough dead PMCs. Free lv 4+ armors, weapons, nades, meds, and keycards to sell from the bosses. It's literally free loot sometimes and if not just spawn the raiders as a scav and try your hardest to wipe them and take everything. Currently sitting at 27mil and 60m+ stash
@@somethingtrulyhorrifying The main loot maps are Interchange, Reserve, Shoreline, Woods but I would recommend either woods or Interchange for a new player because Chads are commonly seen in Reserve and Shoreline, so for a new player I would recommend learning either Woods or Interchange
@@zer0_logicc217 Alright, it's a tough pick I'm gonna start studying Woods first and jump in once my download is finished. Played a lot of pubg and thehunter so I'd already be at home in the virtual woods lol. Thanks for the tip person.
I watched 2 of you HC series as well as this season of Raid and just started playing Tarkov. Stuff i know about the game day one thx to your vids is enormous, game is much easier this way. Thank you GLHF
This is my first wipe and i started doing stash run with a pp19 in shoreline. After some raids, i change to the mdr to have a better chance of killing the other players. after 3 weeks doing this, i did around 4 millions. Later on, i invested in the keys of the resort and now i am level 43 with 33 millions and a better understanding of the game. Now with the increase rate, i am pretty sure that the stash run will be way better.
Thanks a lot Buddy. Real good advice about " Escape from Tarkov" - from "Down Under Where Women Glow, and Men Chunder! "(A Great "patriotic" Australian song by "Men at Work"(1980)). Thanks again!
Night time Shoreline Cache runs have been my bread and butter for months. I bring in a hat, comtacs, a rig, Press armor or a Kirasa, backpack, and either a 5-7 or a Glock with a flashlight and that's it. Maybe an SJ6 in my container just in case, and no NVGs. Some runs aren't great, but since people tend to rush the resort I have a lot of success since almost no one is out on the map unless they're doing a run like me or new/doing quests. Especially the swampy village area and the ammo boxes. Almost all the 7N39 and M995 in my ammo boxes are found in raid in these runs. Sometimes a run isn't looking that good and then you get back to the hideout and realize you have 6 Bolts and they're selling for 25K and suddenly you've made 150K on just 6 units in your backpack. Finding a water filter or some good ammo or a decent attachment on top of that and suddenly im edging 300K or more. Night time customs can also be really great. The Intel spawns in the Med Lab have carried entire runs for me, as have the Roler spawn on Toilet head and Graphics cards in the Green screen room (1 on the ground and 1 in a computer the other day PogChamp). The only other suggestion I have is to always check scav pockets and backpacks. Nothing feels better than killing a Toz scav and finding a labs card in his pocket.
When on scav loot run in an open map like Shoreline just kill another scav with good rig and backpack and for the rest of the run avoid scav. To make loot run more safer as pmc change to one server and consider to make loot runs when most people are offline in that/your server area. Really helps to have a safe loot run with big space gear. Go night time indeed the moonlight will allow you to still see as well as changing your post fx clarity and brightness setting. Happy looting with a blackjack 😊 And for really inexperience players, that need absolutely sure cash making, just hide somewhere and have a short profitable route in the last 5-10min. A lot of people in vids don't bother filing cabinets but they can spawn good loot as well.
This videos made me look so good starting tarkov with some friends that already have been playing. Appreciate all the work. Full committed a few too many times with expensive kits need to get back to farming.
personally i started in this wipe, played about 300 normal raids (shoreline mainly) until i was confident enough to start running labs. Been only running labs ever since (and a reserve scav every now and then) and can easily make profit with just labs.
aye u know what it is im linking and commenting and watching ur vids at 2x speed full length (watch time is important) so the algorithm starts showing love again 113423 fucking get this man back in the recommendations dude .elets go franky recognized me in stream
This is probably my first comment ever but i've actually never taught you can make such a good guide for tarkov, i mean holy fuck this helped me out alooottt.
Pestily can you make a video on how to survive as low levels? I stopped playing at the release of Reserve and just before the big streamer attention on tarkov, i started again a week ago, I never had such a bad survival rate as i do now, it feels like i constantly get killed by campers and sneaky rats.
I'd say another thing for learning the maps is to use the Offline Mode to run around to check out how to get in/out of places. Multiple routes are valuable!
My friends and i are really struggling. We just hit level 5 and are getting our asses kicked by players rushing us with P90's etc. Because my PC loads me into customs around 30 seconds late I'm immediately pushed. Survived in raid one second kia...I love it
Customs is honestly not a good map for making money nor surviving really. It's got many choke points. It's a narrow map (even with the expansion) and the loot is confined to mostly a few small locations. It's a map you need to learn for your tasks and for fun pvp but I would be looking elsewhere for making money. But seeing you are level fun do whatever you enjoy as its all experience :)
I really do hope they do kind of a warzone/br type of deal where you can have solo queues and squad queues, ive stopped running day raids almost entirely because I get squad killed constantly, at night you get hyper geared people but they tend to be solo a lot
To be honest, the easieast way to make money in my opinion right now is this: get the biggest backpack and rig you can find, go shoreline, know the stashes, go to all stashes from village->swamp->rock passage->radio tower->construction->road to customs or reverse, you get 1 mil+ on a survived raid, and not many people do the same thing
Naaaah, the actual EASIEST way is to get a 5.7, micro rig, a doc/sicc case with RB-AM (100% REQUIRED) and some other reserve keys, go hit up either king, black pawn, or any keys you have and HIT RB-AM. You can fill up your gamma with 500k every 10 minutes
@@sepehrrezaee5505 Yeah,, tried some quick reserve runs, found a green keycard in a docs case in the black pawn marked room, you make money so fast if you know where to go
Just a note after the recent buff or nerf however you see it. Shoreline got a massive buff you can get most of your money just by running around the map killing scavs and looting the safes and get the hidden stashes wait till about 15min left in raid and go loot the resort to see the rooms that haven’t been looted like room 316 on east you can find a lot of suppressors which you can profit from if you get good luck you can even get a ledx
I made all of my millions before the last wipe just doing rashala runs on customs. A lot of less skilled players are on the map and you're generally less likely to run into a squad of air frames and M4s. pile up a bunch of AVS rigs, nades and rashala guard guns, normally 500-800k when you grab meds, computer parts, wep attachments, and hit a few stashes on the way out
As a new player i hated customs but actually liked interchange. When they expanded customs i started liking it tho bcs it made the map not force pvp when doing quests
I see people telling me its a horrible idea but scav runs on factory have helped train my reflex and aim tbh i die alot but if i get out wiht good loot then i can just sell it and its zero risk so
Farming Killa with Hunter M62/M61 made me around 20 mils in the last few days. lvl 4 armored rig, no backpack. If he does not spawn, you can still loot KIBA etc and head out Hole in the Fence
I just did a loot run very similar to the one showed in the video, got a holodilnik and a bunch of other stuff, thanks a bunch! didnt know how to get out using the d-2 bunker door
My loot run- (customs) marked room, crackhouse, giving tree, extract~ I usually do the knife trade with peacekeeper to get a stock mp5- which is litterly free if you just collect the brown ones when u see them, then I use ap 6.3
One thing Pestily doesnt mention is you can also gear up really well in Reserve so Scav in & Learn It! My last run with ONE fight against another player scav netted nearly perfect M1, AKMS, AK-105 w/ BS ammo, Korund-VM, Sordins, LZSh, M45A1 pistol, all inventory slots full of misc stuff.. Yes you will die a bunch of times learning it but you'll eventually learn where the high value areas are that you can either Chad or Rat depending on your preference..
Honestly I have been doing the kill 1-2 scavs and extract strategy as a player scav for a month now, and it is just broken of how affective it is and an underrated strat.
@Pestily I'm not sure if you'll see this and I know that items pricing changes frequently but I think it would be a really cool video or subject to talk on. Basically talking about items you see that you gamma/case and reason behind it like items that stay steady or you know that will sell well or vendor well regardless of fleamarket price I think a though process about this would make a great video. Thank you so much and have fun stay safe!!

I feel you, I've got a line i take from extract to extract that hits like 12-13 weapon boxes that always nets me good money
Real question is how that is fun?
@@cantastic I get decent loot and can avoid or head towards combat as needed

Papa Pestily, you've helped me so much as a freshie in tarkov, cannot thank you enough! I look forward to the new series. Grats on wrapping finale!
"Where no-one ever goes". Man the amount of firefights I've had in that shoreline swamp.
The chance of running successfully is far better there than in the resort for example. Less close quarters but more long range which requires long range weapons. When people shoot at you, you're most likely already behind cover.
This video is accurate to getting better at the game. Doesn't take more than learning spawn pathing and lowering risk in each map.

When he said " lets crack straight into it" yeah i felt that.
I got a class 6 armor from a ground cache in Customs. That's my map for sure and I think it's seriously underrated for making money. It's very easy to survive and avoid players if you're paying attention to early combat and recognizing which side of the map the action is on.
I'll also note that the 2 level dorm is my go-to if I'm close. Otherwise I'm hitting the caches or new warehouse.
I can really recommend the new lvl 5 armor. It has low durability, but it can save you in the event of an unexpected player encounter, not many people loot it and it repairs amazingly, even if completely zeroed out. Totally worth it imo
I really liked the faster form vod review at the end of the video. Much more digestible than an hour long review.
Pestily have an idea that might help people as well. See if you can find a way to jump your audio up to show people the audio you pick up on. Just an idea as always great work by you and your editors.
Here's a run I used quite a bit fairly recently:
Night raid interchange, get inside and get to the top floor, check if the power is on.
Teach a man to fish, they say.
Great video.

Just my biggest tip: scav runs on reserve.
Getting out with 1 million roubles in gear is not a rare occasion and I suck at this game
Depends if your lucky with raiders and extracts
@@zer0_logicc217 Customs or Reserve for a new guy? Asking for myself...

What now?

Thanks again!
have been having a hard time now that I have had less time to play. Playing more eco style has been helping though.
1:13 Understood, where can I buy enough spice chief ?

The ANA m1 rig barter was my go-to since they added it. The crafting sequence that ends in aquamari made those armored rigs so easy to get.
a positive comment for algorithm :)
This Worked
much help
When on scav loot run in an open map like Shoreline just kill another scav with good rig and backpack and for the rest of the run avoid scav.
To make loot run more safer as pmc change to one server and consider to make loot runs when most people are offline in that/your server area. Really helps to have a safe loot run with big space gear.
Go night time indeed the moonlight will allow you to still see as well as changing your post fx clarity and brightness setting.
Happy looting with a blackjack 😊
And for really inexperience players, that need absolutely sure cash making, just hide somewhere and have a short profitable route in the last 5-10min.
A lot of people in vids don't bother filing cabinets but they can spawn good loot as well.
See u guys on Reserve ... Im that Guy with a Sniper

and i'm the guy that is always on the receiving end

personally i started in this wipe, played about 300 normal raids (shoreline mainly) until i was confident enough to start running labs. Been only running labs ever since (and a reserve scav every now and then) and can easily make profit with just labs.
Embrace the way of the RAT!

Ben Smothermon imo red is pretty trash for its cost
Sell everything in your stash. You’ll have enough money to start over new and ball out
Put it up for barter which reduces the fees by like 80%
This is probably my first comment ever but i've actually never taught you can make such a good guide for tarkov, i mean holy fuck this helped me out alooottt.
Pestily can you make a video on how to survive as low levels? My friends and i are really struggling. We just hit level 5 and are getting our asses kicked by players rushing us with P90's etc. Because my PC loads me into customs around 30 seconds late I'm immediately pushed. Survived in raid one second kia...I love it
Let me know if you want to run some groups - I'm no expert but I'm level 30 something and know the maps pretty well.
You'll start to get into the game probably around level 20. You're just in the learn by dying phase atm
@@BennyJ69 lmao true
Lol
Tip: OLI on interchange has tons of Silicone tubes

Just a heads up for anyone looking for collector items,. They can be found in jackets now. I found the plague mask in a reserve jacket yesterday
Thanks.
I’ve been playing for a while and have yet to even lay my eyes on any armour class above 4
@@sepehrrezaee5505 Yeah,, tried some quick reserve runs, found a green keycard in a docs case in the black pawn marked room, you make money so fast if you know where to go
In the next one it would be cool to have a “high risk high reward” path and a safer path
I needed this, Thank you so much Pestily, You're the Dad of Tarkov.

I just started playing labs on offline mode, just to practice. But its still been pretty exciting! Good luck in Tarkov!
i only do scav run on customs, loot all 50% of the stashes, around 600k every times, easy money
How? Every time I play scav I have no inventory space and rarely see anyone.
hush now
Just a note after the recent buff or nerf however you see it.

A lot of less skilled players are on the map and you're generally less likely to run into a squad of air frames and M4s. pile up a bunch of AVS rigs, nades and rashala guard guns, normally 500-800k when you grab meds, computer parts, wep attachments, and hit a few stashes on the way out
Be a twitch streamer and have tarkov give you loot.
As a new player i hated customs but actually liked interchange. When they expanded customs i started liking it tho bcs it made the map not force pvp when doing quests
This is a positive comment for the algorithm
Opened up my mind to a lot of stuff, not just looting in this one video, thanks m8
Yeah ima just stick to dying on factory, thx tho.
He means the M1 rig NOT the M2 rig. They’re similar but the M1 is the good one. M2 is garbage don’t waste your time on it
Crazy almost like the editor put that stipulation in the video
