This is going to be my second wipe, gave up last time because I was stuck on the Glukhar kill quest and reserve was an absolute stuttering mess. Literally couldn't play that map, which sucks because the scav boss questline was all I needed for kappa. Excited to go into this wipe actually knowing how to play the game.
This was my first wipe and I only got to play about half of it... but I knew both the reserve and interchange runs (you still showed me a few things on each, but I knew most of it). I'm actually really happy to hear this from you as confirmation on what I suspected! Thanks man!

It will also help keep the balance where new players don’t know what to grab. So by teaching us it prevents senior players from getting ridiculously ahead.

I actually like the scav island, yeah you can get trapped sometimes but if you're sneaky or have a suppressed gun there is a lot of good loot there and if you get the beach spawn you can get in and out before any scavs spawn or anyone else shows up.
It’s funny I’ve never died on scav island on shoreline. There’s a hidden stash there and a marked case where I’ve found some nice loot, along with a couple med bags I think. It’s usually worth if no one is around since I get in and out quick or just hide in a shack for a few minutes if I hear gunshots nearby
At around 6:35 he says "keep an eye on your XP" to make sure you're not facing a run-through. Is there an actual indicator that you've gained enough XP to extract? Or do you just have to guess?
Loot runs are interesting but I'd also like to know where I should expect ennemies if I'm following the loot run, and what angles I should watch. In your interchange loot run, I think it really became dangerous when you started pushing into the back of Oli because players spawning on the other side of the map will croos your path around there (maybe sooner).
I just got the game and still haven't completed the debut quest. Can't seems find the scavs, enjoying the other maps, but they just elude me on Customs. I may just sit in a game trying to kill player scavs that cross the river.
xmas package is aps stechkin and svd. i think ill save my svd for the jaeger challenges. also game plan is gonna be focus on the unchanged maps. maybe 1-5 factories to farm keys. then hit interchange to get a crapload of mechanic items. and late game maybe shoreline for ledx and other valuables.
Been running this interchange run quietly for so long lol. Ill be ready for competition now. I tend to not upgrade my hideout for a long time as you make so much off screws and garbage early wipe.
learn to know the timing of one of these runs done well. you can usually catch people off guard. i do it on interchange when i get the good spawn and if they have the run down to a science i have a well timed grenade waiting. people throw caution to the wind for greed abuse it.
You'd want to make a small note of items and what they are worth. Corrugated hoses sell for loads as well as bolts, Some items are definitely worth keeping for future quests too (USB flash drives, T-plugs etc) so You'll want to keep all FiR worth more than say 10k per slot, so that when you get access to flea you sell them there. Anything worth less or that isn't needed for either the hideout or quests should be sold to traders.
the purpose of the runs is so you can sell stuff on the flea market. To be able to sell stuff on the flea it needs to be "Found In Raid" or FiR for short. In order for stuff to be found in raid you need to extract with 300xp acquired to not get a run through which removes FiR status from loot. You still get to keep the stuff you find, you just wont be able to sell it on the flea market.

@5:50 Phased control relays also spawn on the ground around the tiles, very useful early wipe.
I knew they weren’t gunna make us wait months more. No way. But now that this is posted I’ll see so many people on these paths
I actually like the scav island, yeah you can get trapped sometimes but if you're sneaky or have a suppressed gun there is a lot of good loot there and if you get the beach spawn you can get in and out before any scavs spawn or anyone else shows up.

I always go right into reserve first and look for fuel and BP/BT rounds while everyone fights it out in interchange.
i just rock a sks with a bunch of ps while i bust out quests to unlock better ammos like 855a1(i switch to the akm once i can)

They are often at both gas station. Dorms. Ruaf roadblock. And scav checkpoint. I’d recommend mapgenio.up for a map of there spawns
