If you're the kind of gamer to still worry about Juan Tapa meeting you in the garage and beating the pants off of you.. Try staying away from the roads, stay away from high traffic areas (dirt path from checkpoint), main road by crack house, and taking less traveled paths. Sit and wait 30 seconds every now and then to feel what's going on in the map around you.
@@Up2_nogood Honestly. Taking this game with a real survival mentality, not worrying about "profit" but just getting through every raid alive, it's crazy how often you can catch people off. Also about movement, if you stand and walk at the slowest speed, you wont be audible that much to other players, while still being able to keep up a decent pace, and Skiers m32's are really good and fairly cheap at level 1 too!
Just wanted to say thanks for this video. I watched your Raiding 101 video earlier today too, and didn't realize there was a wipe later tonight. Today was my first serious day getting into the game even though I've owned it for several months now. Seems like the perfect time to hop in so I'm stoked. This and the Raiding 101 have helped me understand the nuances of the game, and what I should be doing.
Good luck man! It's a really fun game, it busts your balls so stick to it, it's a really hard game, you will die A LOT. Don't be discouraged from the game if you die, it happens. Hardest thing to get over is that gear fear, meaning getting over that fear of losing gear. Once you get over that, the game really opens up. If you never do risky moves, you will never progress. Hope you have a good time with the game, I am super excited for 6am haha.
@@TheStarForge thanks a lot! Appreciate the kindness and encouragement. Got my ass kicked by Scavs and Players on Customs for the past three hours, but little by little getting to know the game more. Died to broken bones, then died to dehydration one raid lmao. Finally extracted out of Old Gas Station with some gear in the last hour. Sure is a bit harder to get ahead without being able to use a container. But it's still good practice. As for losing gear, it seems prices on things are very low right now so I'm just going in with a "fuck it," sort of mindset. Punishing game for sure, but I can see why so many are heavily into it.

@@everythingpony no shit. The tweet before this last one from BSG states that they “confiscated” the a package aka “Christmas gift” so it cannot be redeemed tomorrow.
It was horrendous last wipe. They should give utility items - everyone would enjoy having that SCAV junkbox early on or maybe a weapon case. Day 4 900 BP rounds was just poor decision, invalidated whole lot of early gear.
I tried his strats many times in the past wipe, 99% of the time none worked for me simply because he has a completely different playstyle and is just a very very good player. Sometimes I think he doesn't know how hard it is to just be bad at this game even if you still like it (not saying you are bad, but I am)
@@OMGitsJelle I mean once you've got the flea unlocked then you can just scav run interchange every time your scav is up. do the loop round the back of the mall, check the power station and the stashes all the way to the extract and you'll still leave with 500k of goodies
I should of clarified with "if you are doing nothing but focusing on making money" obviously if you have 30 hours to play in 2 weeks and you spend 20 of them doing other things than making money that would be hard. But I suggest during the raid series that you should supplement your PVP with loot runs to ensure you make good $$$
Look at these guys who play video games as a full time job, 5-10 hours of games a day. This is why I appreciate the raid series, it is realistic for people who work a 9-5.
I watch these tutorials just to help figure out the player routes in game. New player tip: These routes will be highly contested because of his popularity
may be BSG should ban campers at the extractions? You can camp near extractions, but not at the extraction. Its every player's duty to look before rushing to exit. But its also their duty not to pick people one by one at the "safety zone" exit. "hope so "
Pestily correcting himself after assuming most players will have a scav junkbox on day 1 was the funniest part of this video. I love the man but damn there's a disconnect sometimes
Nice, thanks Pest. Now I know where I DON'T want to go because of the amount of players you bring to these spots with that video here. Not hating but it always feels kinda counterproductive...
It's not some secret knowledge and big brain plays tho. You can almost guarantee Pest and many other people will go Factory because it's the fastest way to get to unlock flea market. There's no reason to fight over nuts and bolts with animals while you can't even list them on the market and unlocking flea fast is much more beneficial and profitable than painstakingly upgrade hideout.
@@Micromation This guide is for noobs for sure, but they will not have success with it because of the problem I just said. I feel forced to watch his moneyguides to know which area I want to avoid like I said. I don't think this is helpful to anybody, just made for views.
@@michaelno4756 I mean you go wherever you need to go. Tarkov doesn't have many options. You want quick levels and free gear? Factory. You want to rush hideout or make a bank with hideout items? Interchange. You're feeling lucky with raiders? Reserve. Shoreline is a walking simulator, same with Woods after expansion. Are you gonna loot Woods bunkers for fuel, 60rd ak74 mags and Jeager's hut for those silencers? Or you gonna pick up random shit on Shoreline without any keys? you definitely don't have hoard space to pick up all that soap, toilet paper and bleach without access to flea and a junkbox. The only other option is going Customs and fighting with bunch of regards over pocket watch and other quest stuff which quite frankly isn't the best way of spending your time. So yeah, wanna play away from crowds of people Woods is probably best place for that. The question is, if playing low contested area yields any tangible benefits. I can definitely see Woods an option for your first run after wipe - join at night and pray to be spawned in old Woods area (new one is impossible to navigate at night without compass), rush sniper rock for free nvg goggles and a sniper rifle - that will give you a pretty solid edge over everyone else on night maps.
@pestily you a real one, i started a year and 3 months ago i would have been lost without you lol. Now i teach everything i learned from you to my friends. GL with your factory spam when i get off work ill see you in there (for the 3 seconds before you kill me)
You and other eft influencers better teach testers how to enjoy testing without making millions. You all seems to be inadequate driven by gold rush. Its a survival game, not economic simulator, you don’t need to “make” money.
Honestly. I was sitting around 6 million for a bit until I bought a bunch of cases. Stayed around 1.5-3 million roubles all through wipe and was fine every second lol.
I know I don't show it much on my RUclips but my live stream is all about just messing about and having fun without just running meta's etc. These guides I make these days are more about teaching the tools to do certain things than specific ways to min max.
Stop thinking like a beta. If i were offered 2 billion rubles upfront or 5 rubles a day, i would take the 5 rubles. Its called passive income and you'll never have to work a day in your wipe. Stay alpha gamers
It would take 400,000,000 days of 5 roubles a day to provide you 2,000,000,000 roubles. In those 1,095,890 years you could have invested the 2 billion and made way more from investments.
Survival is the most important thing to success in EFT. I usually have a 70-75% SR each wipe. Level 40 within a month playing a couple hours a day. Run Shoreline non-stop and hunt Shturman. Easy money. First chance you get to buy a thermal, buy as many as you early and shred. Game over.
You're a good person pestily im happy you're teaching people this stuff .Im planning to get really good at the game and become sorta pro and since i have someone like you to look up to i can do so.Thank you :}
2 points Pestily missed on lootable objects such as stashes: 1: Opening any lootable container that wasn't emptied WILL close 2: If you scav in; anything that has been looted (empty or not) will show up closed for 'you'.
I know this is kind of taboo, but Customs is actually an insanely good place for an over all experience. The loot is fantastic if you know where to go, especially since it's flooded with industry spawns like motors, bolts, screws, nails, etc. Even if you dont head to stronghold or dorms, there's so much loot sprinkled around that you can almost always make a profit. The PVP is constant too, it's fairly easy to find PVP or straight up avoid it if you dont want that mess. Ever since the expansion, Customs is my go-to map, really.
Customs is great but it can be very hit and miss when it comes to getting out alive. Honestly first day or two running crack house, stronghold then old gas would be strong because there's no tasks over there
for the algorithm! thanks for the content to both pestily and his editors! and good luck during the next weeks, i know you will work your ass of. remember to hydrate!

I rI rI rr rr rrhrhrhrhrhrhrr
Learn the PMC spawns so you can guess where people are coming from around you at the start of the raid.
shoot them first lmao
As always, great content and great support for the Tarkov community. Appreciate all you do, keep it up Pest!!
seems like the Christmas gift wont be available after this patch
Punishing game for sure, but I can see why so many are heavily into it.
how to make millions early wipe- BSG pushes Fleamarket back to lvl 20- guess i stay poor then
Thx for the tips, I like the interchange one the most, love your vids and stay strong
Now what if you only have 2 hours of play time available a day
it's incredible that that is the standard for even progressing slightly in tarkov lol
Hype!! Thanks Pestily!! Second wipe for me and you've got me well set for this one! See yah next time!
You forgot to say that most of these are not suitable for the average solo player, they will be flooded with squads, trios and whatnot
Embrace the rat brother, thats the only way
Yup..those squads will farm the raiders he's talking about and run customs for a good month
Came for get rich quick schemes, stayed for Pest's sparkling eyes. Dreamy.
Intervhangr literally wont be playable because everyone is gonna do money runs at least in the beginning
farm xp from people doing loot runs
@@pnutz_2 i would if they stay tehre longer then 10 min while i run across the map with endurance and strengh lvl 1
then head in and pop some plebs. you can even grab the stuff they work so hard for.
I'm not saying you should and would hate you if you would...But just camp the extracts there...There is only so much they can stuff up their bum.
Having Pestily as a close friend or family is huge pogg
The new Scav boss is going to be a potato because of that mask, watch
Just ran in to him he doesnt fuck around lol
I’m a very experienced player and I still learned from this video! Keep up the good work pestily and the editors
I bet ya the dislikes are the people who got sad their money making secrets got made public.
this! And the fact they are too lazy to come up with new ways.
Cheers Pest and big props to the editors. Loving the new styles.
I still haven't used all the bp rounds they gave me at the last Christmas lmao
Gear Fear, ey?
@@FrozenDozer well i used a lot of ak 74 and hk416 but not that many 7mm akm. Then i stopped playing the game for the past few months
Same I basically quit after a month or so
Awesome video. Just started playing a couple months ago and didn't really learn the extent of this game until these last couple weeks. I can't wait for the wipe and grinding this!!
Is Frankie from South Africa or why else does he have 17 ping on the Johannesburg server?
I think he is from what he said in the past with why he couldn’t play with his editors I think that’s correct
Noticed that too
Hey There . Thanks 4 all your Viedeos and Guides. Started playing Tarkov in January 2021, learned a shitload of good stuff from your Videos. Thx 4 that
Keep goi´n Bro
"If you don't have over a hundred million in the first week of a wipe, then you are doing something wrong" I hate this
game sucks nowadays, ever since they added flea market pretty much
Thats just not possible. Exchanged half of that million to get to lv6 or 10
@@falovsky It feels like its just too easy now. I like the push to level 20, but if they made it level 40, that would be perfect. End game players deserve end game features
New editing is on point. Great video, thank you!
Well this didnt go to well as BSG just removed the Christmas gift so that cannot be redeemed anymore hahaha :D
Good riddance
Because the wipe hasent happend
@@everythingpony no shit. The tweet before this last one from BSG states that they “confiscated” the a package aka “Christmas gift” so it cannot be redeemed tomorrow.
that is actually for the better honestly
It was horrendous last wipe. They should give utility items - everyone would enjoy having that SCAV junkbox early on or maybe a weapon case. Day 4 900 BP rounds was just poor decision, invalidated whole lot of early gear.
Pestily is basically the tarkov wiki in video format
“If your not making 100million 2 weeks into the wipe your doing something wrong” oh, ok.
Well yeah, if all you're doing is loot runs for 2 weeks straight and you don't hit that much money you're doing something wrong.
@@OMGitsJelle yea I dare a solo player to go anywhere near the back of interchange that first month..insta death
For real though, streamer Lvndmark is taking a day off of streaming so he can no life the wipe.
i hope daddy nikita obliterates all get rich quick schemes
I like shoreline for leveling up the character attributes and all that loot
this guide is more how to avoid most players early wipe.. ill won''t be doing any of these overpopulated lootruns.. mark my words!
I watch these tutorials just to help figure out the player routes in game. New player tip: These routes will be highly contested because of his popularity
Dont do anything he said, do your own shit, everything he says people are gonna do
may be BSG should ban campers at the extractions? You can camp near extractions, but not at the extraction. Its every player's duty to look before rushing to exit. But its also their duty not to pick people one by one at the "safety zone" exit. "hope so "
Pestily correcting himself after assuming most players will have a scav junkbox on day 1 was the funniest part of this video. I love the man but damn there's a disconnect sometimes
Nice, thanks Pest. Now I know where I DON'T want to go because of the amount of players you bring to these spots with that video here. Not hating but it always feels kinda counterproductive...
That's fokin tarkov bro.
Also Contratz on your 500k subs! you're going places! we love you!
Shut up
Survival is the most important thing to success in EFT. I usually have a 70-75% SR each wipe. Level 40 within a month playing a couple hours a day. Run Shoreline non-stop and hunt Shturman. Easy money. First chance you get to buy a thermal, buy as many as you early and shred. Game over.
3rd wipe, still feels like Christmas too me. Alot of interchange here I come. My home turf lol
Love all the info you provide us, thank you Pestily team!
a strat only works if everyone doesn't do it, which means pest has a dif plan
You're a good person pestily im happy you're teaching people this stuff .Im planning to get really good at the game and become sorta pro and since i have someone like you to look up to i can do so.Thank you :}
2 points Pestily missed on lootable objects such as stashes:
1: Opening any lootable container that wasn't emptied WILL close
2: If you scav in; anything that has been looted (empty or not) will show up closed for 'you'.
Great video. Even though the run itself will be super contested now you still did a great job covering how to make bank. Nice editing Franky.
I dont even play this broken ass game anymore but enjoy watching pestily.
This is our briefing for the field! Thanks Pestily.
Thanks Papa pestily for always taking the time to make awesome videos like this and thanks to the editors for getting them out so quick 👍
Pestily therapist stopped my heart for about 15 seconds
Thanks for the tips mate. Great wipe loot guide for sure. This past wipe i did tool boxes, pcs jackets and catches on customs. very profitable for sure
loving the quality of the vids such a good experience
thanks for the info I been watching all you streamers play for years now on twitch and I just got the game and it happens to be two day before the wipe but now I have serval paths I can take.
Been watching you and your videos for as long as I've been playing Tarkov. Amazing teacher and creator!
Very glad I discovered Pestily after playing Tarkov for a week without guides, now I'm on my 4th but stopped recently over laptop problems. But I can't wait to get back into this game after I get my new PC. Thank you so much for making all these guides for new players like me Pest. The amount of things I learned and applied in my playthroughs after a couple of vids and streams is huge, appreciate you very much!
