5:44 Fun fact for anyone new or who doesn't know, the purple axe you see him drop is very good for money, it sells to Jager for around 56k. So don't throw it away :)
Another good trick is not bringing a melee into raid as if you loot a melee off a scav you will have an unlootable melee if you die, and you can sell it when you get out of raid for a small amount of money
@@_sc0ut_965not all knives but look for the er bayonet, it’s pretty common and is 10k for an non lootable item and goes in a usually useless slot is pretty good

Big tip on questing are night raids... Especialy when you're trying to do multiple quests during one raid... I did most of the Shoreline or Reserve quests that require marking, picking up quest items from rooms or like just going to sketchy places in night raids
at night, tarkov becomes fnaf with guns and everyone is equally scared, except that guy with the nvgs
night raids are a plus to

would you consider doing a Lighthouse guide? It's the only map I've never played, as I wasn't playing the game at the time of release, and there's a lot of things about the map that are hard to understand for a newbie.
If you want me to run my best gear I guess I will do it!

I’ve had the game since .12.12 and haven’t even gotten past the pocket watch quest, I just spend so much time practising in scav raids and working on my own skill since I just lack confidence at the moment. Would you say this is a viable approach?

I use GeForce Experience's shadowplay thing. It looks significantly better than OBS. I do enhance it a bit in editing too though

Any chance of a longform raid series this wipe?
I've been dying to do raid review type videos, where I record entire raids and explain my thoughts on how I succeeded in them. But just haven't quite come up with the most efficient way to do them yet.

I didn't know you got loot xp just from picking something up
I bought EFT in 2018 and just installed it again, to my shock, all the guns (and other items) in the trading section are ridiculously cheap and I have like 2 million rubbles. Did I miss something?
If you were on a couple days ago, it was the end of wipe event where everything was cheap. The game has now wiped and everything should be back to normal.
eh ui actually prefer to stretch that state of early lvl ,as long as possible. Once i have everything just one click away, at trader it gets boring as heck.
I love early wipe. Fights are hilariously bad where people tank shitty ammo. No ones getting 2 tapped by BP over and over yet.

Anyone have advice for someone who has an 18% survival rate? I want to love playing this game. But every wipe I find myself quiting at levels 4-6 because I'm constantly dying. Any tips? Thanks
Die a few thousand more times, and make sure you take something from it every single time. What could you have done differently/better, how many mistakes did you make, etc.
I will be honest, if you have never progressed past lvl 6 and keep 18%sr you are not doing bad. You just have to power through the deaths if you want to improve. At the start of this wipe I also had like 15%sr now I have a 45% one it just comes with practice.
Don't instantly run to high traffic areas or anywhere for that matter. Spawn in, move out of that spawn area. I usually find a bush to squat in and go get a drink or snack for about 5 min. Once the initial fights happen, then I can move around the map much more freely as almost half of the players are dead.

everything except selling equally to traders was good advice in this video.
We're only a week into wipe and the streamers are level 50. Meanwhile I work 6 days a week and I'm level 6. They need to nerf level progression. Wipe is every 6 months and they hit level cap in two weeks.
Why does their progression affect you? I'm level 31, and I work full time. Sure, higher levels put a lot of time in, but it also comes down to learning the game. How many hours have you played to get to level 6? Level 1-15 can easily be hit in a few hours, unlocking flea and ramping up progression speed.
Don't rely too much on Guns that you can "mod" & act like they're holy. Especially early Wipe they're trash due to your low-skilled PMC's & not having the avaibility to good ammo. I prefer to run Mosin & Shotguns with Magnum Buckshot whenever I could.
9:54 seems almost like your trying to tell people to go in geared early wipe so you can make more clips out of it just saying.
Absolutely not. I'm teaching people the point of gear. Gear doesn't make you a better player. Whoever plays better in the moment wins. What good gear DOES do though, is allow you to make more mistakes, which is an awesome boost for beginners.
Is cheating still a big issue with the game?
It's always improving. But everyone will have different answers to this. I play daily and encounter a foul player once a month, or less
