I’ve got this in a CCD MI-6 case with the exhaust fan top attic. This card can undervolt well. For daily usage I’ve found a +125 core and +500 memory to be stable.
In my 6 years of building PCs, it's always been a goal of mine to build the tinniest SFF that I can while maximizing on performance and I would absolutely love to incorporate one of these!
I love the card. I only wish there were some low profile cards from any GPU maker this generation. Ever since the GPU craze started, they simply stopped making them. Thanks for sharing!
@@nitronaf yes it would be nice if there were more consumer grade cards and not just professional cards like that ... The A2000 is much more expensive than the RTX equivalent
I’ve seen that undervolting Ampere GPUs has been the best way to go as Nvidia seriously tried to make these GPUs draw more power than is necessary. This AIB 3060 Ti especially seems like the prime candidate for undervolting, and as a side note I tested my 3080 Ti a week ago with the minimum undervolt I could achieve (.750 mV) and the core clocks at the lowest height achievable across the voltage line after underclocking the core which is around 1500-1550 MHz. It still managed stock 2080 Ti/3070 performance while going below 200 watts. It’s not something I would expect anyone who owns a 3080 Ti to do, but to almost cut power usage in half while maintaining that kind of performance was mind-blowing for me.
To achieve cooler temperatures for ITX builds. You'd only gain 10-20% performance switching to a 3070 but you'd be running way hotter and way louder.@@azizurrohmanaan3709
In a Velka 3, it gets pretty toasty. The plastic backplate is probably not doing it any favors. Besides being an insulator, I had to bump out my Velka 3's side panel to the 2mm position and put some pads on the side panel to hold it away from the card, something I didn't have to do with the PNY 3060 single fan. It also tries to pull over 220W, stock, according to hwinfo when running Unigine Heaven. I've tuned mine to run at a max vcore of 0.875v, with a boost that tops out at around 1875-1890 Mhz (set to 1875, still boosts to 1890). I've also capped the fan at 70%. The fan's sound is more shrill than the PNY 3060 single-fan. The PNY never bothered me, even at full fan speed. The Aero does, hence the fan cap. Over 70% and the fan tone is far more noticeable than the PNY 3060 at 100%. The MSI also has no 0 RPM mode. The fan always spins at a minimum of around 1200-1400 RPM. The PNY 3060 single fan has 0 RPM support and won't spin up until the card is under load.
I know I'm super late, but if you are able to get your hands on an EVGA 3060 ti XC Gaming, it would be great to see what the comparisons are to the rest of the 3060 ti's that you have data for. It's the next smaller 3060 ti and has two slightly smaller fans.
Short of absolutely needing the shortest card for that Velka case, wouldn't you be better off with the EVGA XC or the ASUS Dual Mini? I've got one of the latter cards and it doesn't leave any performance on the table, and it's barely larger than this one.
As a multiple ITX builder since Intel 4th gen, these ITX gpus are an awesome little performer, and generally only run 7-10c max warmer than triple-fan designs and well under throttle speeds. They also aren’t generally this far behind in fps 🧐to beefier options…. Also a quick and dirty undervolt yields cooler temps and better stable fps than running at stock clocks / scenarios 🥰👍😇 and would help overall performance.
I've been currently in the market for this card for quite sometime. These are nowhere to be found in the US outside of eBay which of course the prices are ridiculous. Would anyone know where I can this at MSRP that would be able to ship internationally. I found some links in Australia but require an Australian address to even make an account to purchase and ship. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
I was trying to get this for my itx build, also the 2 fan cards from asus, but they are just so hard to find in the market so i have to change my plan and get nr200p instead of something smallers to fit in a full size card.
Im running the older 2060 super aero, do you think its worth upgrading to this card? or maybe wait a bit longer? I am building a very small itx system .
$608AUD including shipping is cheapest today in Australia, but 6700XT is ~$1000AUD here. Pricing is different to US in Oz, where Nick is based. Shipping from overseas with the terrible exchange rate and more difficulty dealing with warrantee issues is not tempting
One regrettable side effect of Nvidia's arms race to drive the sales of 1000 and 1500 watt PSUs again is that it's been a long time since we don't get tiny GPUs and for context they're still fairly inefficient: In Pascal times you could get a 1070 on this size or as a single slot GPU since back then the x070 range were 180 watts tdp cards but now you have to step down to a 3060 or a bit of a compromised/undervolted 3060ti like this one.

I'm running +200 and +1000 without any issues.
@@pets4489 That's a good OC. Mine unfortunately wasn't as stable as yours.
Awesome benchmark video fams, keep up the hard work.

I dont get it why not buying rtx 3070 instead, if performance and power almous the same
Is that only diminish advantages of more expensive card ?

Great for a small build, but I can't imagine how loud that fan is gonna be at full pelt, or even 'semi idling'
i had one kinda bit has sound but too loud but its better if its quiete😊 its installed on msi trident 3 with rtx3060

Perhaps a Noctua fan swap would be worth it if it bothers you that much.
That outro music, though...!!!!!🔥🔥🔥
auss has a 3060ti dual mini v2 which is for the Intel NUC, and is very small. I wonder how it compare to this one
ASUS DUAL RTX 3060 Ti MINI V2 is a great alternative. Again hard to find in stock.
maaan this is the dream GPU for me. Need it for an HTPC..
This is the exact card I want. If not a 4060/Ti in this size. Currently using a 2060 from evga like this.
Wonder how much better the performance would be on pcie 4.0
Super cool video. I love these small GPU's
Excellent video fams. 4k/60 for mid-range is awesome.

want this for my SG13 HTPC PC!!!!! Currently have a 1650 in it...
Where to buy this card??
great card for such a small form factor ! keep up the excellent work fam !

I'd love to see how this performs with an undervolt, even if that result might be card-specific.
Does that mean the LHR cracked BIOS improves (gaming) performance?
So basically its a smol 1080ti?
Smol 2080 super, the 3060 is essentially a 1080 ti
Where are you finding this card for $499 US Dollars? It’s going for $1,100 over here in America 😑

I love small card, i am looking at colourful 3060 Ti Mini OC which is smaller than this MSI Aero
isn't that the rtx 3060 aero itx (and not the Ti)?
Im running the older 2060 super aero, do you think its worth upgrading to this card? or maybe wait a bit longer? I am building a very small itx system .
3060ti destroys any 20 series card
WHAAAT it's finally here? Damn I bought the normal 3060 version back when it came out to build my Velka 3 build :(
how is your experience? does the GPU make lots of noise? did you undervolt it, if yes, how did it that go noise wise?
The gpu is almost like nick’s facial hair; the 🐐
i actually dont understand .Why cant nvidia release 3070 and 80s ini mini form? but you can release a 1080ti mini back in the past ?
Completely different architecture and cooling requirements. Pretty easy to understand really.
I have a 1060 phoenix from asus that looks very similar! Nice and quiet card
Nice - I'd take off that cooler & pop on my NZXT G10 Bracket with an AIO 👍👍
this card is so rare and so expensive atm >>> Sep 2022
"Much more expensive 6700xt?" I just got a 6700XT from Newegg for $569, the cheapest I see this thing for sale is $999 + shipping.

RTX 3060TI = £539 6700XT = £599 in UK
It's Oct 2022 and I can't fuckin' get the MSI Aero ITX 3060 ti
Small but packs a punch and that's what I said XD
