    How does the coolant that flows into the overflow tank get back into the radiator after it cools down with the new overflow tank

      I’m actually real glad you commented this because I’ve been searching for this answer myself but have not found a definitive answer. I have switched back to an OEM coolant expansion tank until this is figured out. Can anyone chime in on this? I will pin this comment.

      @@DriveItRyan I know the circuit racing one has two ports one on top for coolant to drain in and another on the lower side of it. I don’t know if that lower one is for draining if it gets to much pressure or if it’s for recycling the coolant back into the Rad.

      Thanks man! Yeah I try and torque everything to spec, even though it takes longer. Just a piece of mind for me 🤪

    I'm betting the metal on the lower coolant route, is for stabilizing the hose and preventing vibration cracks because of the extended run it would take.

    What if you wanted to keep the A/C coolant fan what makes the coolant work to turn the A/C Compressor on, this is what I’m having problems with, do you have troubleshooting on this problem ?

    Most of the aftermarket aluminum radiators on the market will be ok but not great for the NA / NB without A/C condenser and intercooler. If you have those 2 in front of your radiator you might want to consider upgrading your Fan or get a FlyingMiata Fan kit. Ducting will help with hood vents in the right location. Save your money and just get the FM crossflow and fan kit.

      The FM crossflow radiator and brushless fan kit are really nice, but it’s been out of stock for a while and it’s almost $1000 all together. My A/C is deleted and I plan on staying naturally aspirated. I’ll probably do some ducting and hood vents. It’s only the very beginning for this car and that stock radiator needed to go ASAP.

      This one is from Carbon Miata but it’s probably very similar. The Dave Fab parts look damn good though!

    How about a 1uz swap? It’s different and can be made to rev out! It’s buttery smooth, sounds good and it’s cheap.

      🤔 You’ve given me something to look into! I do know that they are rock solid reliable. I was concerned with weight and tuneability but I haven’t done enough research yet to make an educated decision. How high can you safely get the 1UZ to rev?

      @@DriveItRyan All depends on how far you want to go, plenty of ITB options online too. I'd say 7500 to 8k.

    That hose with tube is a stupid design, nice little upgrade with one hose and koyo is the way to go! Ive made the same mistake and got a cheapo rad when i had my integra and that junk leaked within the first month. For this s2k ill definitely message you guys when its time.
