Thanks, Dan! I was flying commercial into LAX that very day and was awed by snow coverage of everything as far as the eye can see. Great cinematic soundtrack, as always
I passed Pyramid Lake in the summer on my way north up to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. It looks like a whole different planet when its covered flank to flank in snow!
Another beautiful flight video Dan. Thanks for sharing. The mountains around the San Francisco Bay Area have been covered with snow as well down to about 2000ft. Its definitely a wonder to fly over snow covered mountains without having to go over the Sierras.
On Sunday I saw snow on ridgelines which I have never seen snow on before. It was pretty cool, or pretty and cool 😎. I would have gone out on Saturday but I was vacuuming the water out of my car. Turns out the drains on my ventilation system were a bit too blocked up for the rain rates on Friday night.

I bet the southern Sierra is looking pretty nice as well.
Beautiful! It's so interesting to see I-5 covered in snow like that
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Spectacular, Dan!
I finally got it :)
"No Country for Old Men"

If you can, see the satellite photos of California just after the storms- snow coverage is unreal!

That's what's so exciting - nothing transforms familiar landscapes like snow.
Great views thanka
Thank you too
Your best yet, Dan! Bravo!
Wow, thanks!
Minus 33 degrees outside? That was my first inquiry when I saw the snow come into view. bbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Imagine -33 in Southern California! That morning, even at 6,000', it was about 30.
As always, thanks Dan. : )
My pleasure!
