Ewashia for my league nights have stolen the show. Run her to high ground and sit a water tile under her, hit mostly anything on the board in a line for attack 4, utilize the owl to double attack squads down, its insane the value you get for 115+50.
Awesome video! I honestly thought Raakchott was a whole lot stronger till you pointed out that it was 3 markers max. With that said I don’t think it’s going to be that bad either because you can get Consume Markers from your own units as well. It’s not ideal planning on losing units but having Raakchott sit back behind your main line or bonding beasts for a revenge splash could be good.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I also thought that Raakchott was a lot more powerful until Earl reread the card to me. Although surrounding him with your own squishy units is a neat idea! You could even use units that destroy thenselves (like the Nagrubs) to farm consume markers. Could be a fun strategy! Although the payoff is still a bit underwhelming...
@RogueScaper That would have been very cool, I agree. However, I think having them be actual, historical pirates would have been even better and given the historical unit fans something to cling to.
Fun fact, the Exiles used to be aquilla units! renegade changed around some of the generals, alongside some other units (Killian Vane, Xenithrax, and Kita, and likely Ewashia and Onshu)
Good point! I believe we discuss that synergy in the video. Even still, I dislike Dorim's charge ability. It's clunkily worded and will definitely confuse new players.
@@frogofwargaming what's confusing? It adds one movement point and the ability to re-roll an attack die is big. Just because you don't have axegrinders is no reason to downgrade him. Bonding is huge in the game.
I found the wording on Dorim's Charge ability to be clunky and confusing. It isn't inherently obvious what units he synergizes with, and as a starter set hero, that's a knock against him in my book. Rerolling a single attack die is fine, but isn't something that's going to make me pick him over more interesting units. BUT, I still think he's okay. He's got good offense and average defense. I think Dorim is a fine pick, I just don't think he's particularly powerful or exciting.

That sounds strong! I'll definitely have to try that strategy out.

Sneaky, Stabby, A little shooty is a great way to describe the exiles. Great and fun overview (Also, an entire orc squad would be awesome)
I'm glad you liked it! I very much want to see more orcs returning to Heroscape.
@@RogueScaper Ah HA! Even RogueScaper agrees (maybe) that they should have been Orcs!
@@megabubfish I think the knaves should've been orcs, and the exiles shouldve been all the snake people

He’s talking about Durthax from Godtear. I love it I just got him! Just learning about heroscape and your channel has been great.
Ayy I'm glad to hear it! It's great to see another Godtear fan in the wild! Stay tuned - more hex-based goodness is on its way 🐸
Nice job guys.
Thanks!
10/10 would watch again
I'm glad you liked it! 🐸
Nice overview guys. 👍
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it 🐸
Glad you enjoyed it! Wild to be seeing ToV watching a video I'm in!
@@megabubfish For sure. I try to watch as much content creators as possible. A lot of good stuff out there. 👍

Interesting! I certainly like the Exiles as an Utgarr unit. I think the changes that Renegade has made have been pretty solid
Dorim is good to bond with the axegrinders with his charge ability.

I would pronouce Misaerx as misery
Possibly! It's certainly a tricky name to pronounce
