I know it’s been 2 years but this is the first chance I’ve had to play this game. I didn’t do a perfect 100% and I died more than a few times.. but thank you Austin John for a wonderful guide. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.

In the game Marin tells Link that she would be a seagull and fly as far away as possible to see distant lands, so yes I think that’s her. (Oh and she says she made a wish to the wind fish but we never get to know what she said but it can be assumed she asked to be a seagull)

The reason the nightmare takes both Ganon and Aganim forms is because it was formed from Link's memory/ fear

I literally played this side-by-side with you. I knew how this was going to end, I'd seen a video on the original game years ago, and remembered the ending, but I still had an emotional experience watching everything and everyone I'd interacted with disappear.
This is one of the best experiences I've had in a walkthrough, I hope you do more content like this in the future.
I didn't even realize that was Marin flying away in the end, until I checked the comments, but the cutscene pretty much spells out her wish to the Wind Fish... it was utterly beautiful.

This game happens right after Link to the Past in the timeline. This is the Link that appeared in that game. The fact that Agahnim appears (the one you have to deflect magic from) and Ganon appearing (the same form and similar fight to LTTP) is meant to mirror Link's nightmares.

Another idea for rupee farming is to use Dampe's shack. You can create your own dungeons. This is good for rupee farming because one of the +effects you can add to a room is to rain down rupees on you. You can create what is essentially a four room dungeon (entrance, big empty room with few enemies and no holes in the floor for coin raining, simple room with treasure chest holding key to nightmare room, and easy boss fight). There is a room with two entrances, one top and one bottom, with four pots and two mold blobs in the middle that I found made the best room for rupee rain. The amount of rupees that rains down depends on the overall size of the dungeon, so to get the most rupees you should also include as many other rooms as you can off to the side of the four required rooms that don't have locked doors or treasure chests (so you don't need to go into those areas to open any treasure chests). The ideal is that you only have to go through the four rooms (entrance, rupees, treasure chest, boss). With a large enough dungeon, there will rain down about 285-300 rupees every time you play the dungeon, and I generally could beat the dungeon in about 45 seconds. (If you wear the red armor, you can beat the mold boss in two hits without having to wait for him to go through his invincible phase; the first hit takes him directly to his red angry final phase.) Plus, you don't have to pay any rupees to play the dungeons (so all rupees are profit), and there's no annoying npc dialogue boxes you have to click through to play the dungeon again. With this, you could earn enough rupees to buy a chamber stone in less than 5 minutes (not including the time it takes to build the dungeon in the first place). You can also add a rupee rain room in any of the other dungeons you have to build for Dampe, which means you could earn around 600 rupees (~300 from the rain room and 300 for completing the dungeon) or more for most of the final 12 dungeons he wants you to build.

One detail about this game and the original, is the fact that Wart appears in this game is more than just a reference. Awesome walkthrough. I still go back and reference it when I’m looking for the sea shells. Brings back memories of the original when I watched the ending. Glad you got the book though. I know it was nothing important as you already knew the information but it was messing with my OCD I suppose. That was always my first order of business after getting the Pegasus Boots when playing the original. Mind you this version does seem less challenging. I suppose it could be the fact that certain items are now auto equipped in comparison to the original when you had to sift your inventory meaning you would have to sacrifice either your sword and/or your shield when you needed to use your other items like the feather and powder. Always enjoy your videos.

Thanks, man! I watched the entire Link's Awakening series and got everything in the game thanks to you! A very enjoyable experience. I guess it's off to Dampe's shack to build some dungeons now.

Thank you so much Austin. I just finished this game thanks to you :) I couldn't find 2 seashells 😅. I watched your video like 5 times and nothing so I gave up and moved on to wake up the Wind Fish.

You were a huge help. I'm almost sad the game is done. I feel like I made a new friend while I played along. Thanks for making the great videos.

Thank you for all of the help, I think finding my last seashell was the most difficult for me. BTW the seashell was fishing for Ol’ Baron for the second time xD

"I'm sure there is lore of this is or is to Ganon." Dude, they outright say they're born from nightmares, this is Link's fears.

Well, this was a very sad game lol! But this game will be a good memory because I feel like I played it side-by-side with you as my guide Austin, I came to rely and depend on you, which is making this surprisingly emotional for me, on top the sadness of the game. You have a great sense of humor and seem like a wonderful person. I hope you are blessed in all your endeavors!

This has been great! Thanks for doing this walkthrough. I had actually just completed the game (nowhere near 100%) but then as soon as I saw your video series I couldn't not start again 😂 I'm now thinking of getting Skyward Sword next so I can do your walkthrough!

Well at 19:19 when he comments that I hope you didn't just watch the final episode first cause that would be really out of order. I happened to watch the final episode first and I found it really funny that he said that.
