I like that the 50th sea shell is a chamber stone... so if you don't want to 100% the game, you don't have to to unlock the important stuff like the sword.

Just wanted to give a massive thanks for this entire series. I inly discovered it when i wanted to grind the seashells for the sword, (already done 6 dungeons) but I appreciate the work put in to this series SO much. Got a sub from me
I was stuck for at least a hour with the Rob thing dint you can change its direction lmao! The owls advice makes sense now!! thanks for these videos man! really helped a first timer with some of the head scratchers lol
Series done too soon! This was so enjoyable, man. I kept one dungeon ahead of you to avoid spoilers. Overall very pleased that this game lived up to my hopes from the original.
13:37 this is what had me going in circles... it took me a while to notice the cracks but I managed to beat the final dungeon 😝

Okay, I’m gonna ask the real question since no one else will. How tf do you get to that rock field above Goponga Swamp?
After you rescue Marin from the bridge there is a staircase going down on the same platform you are standing on. Just go down there and it will get you right above the rock field. At 2:40 in the video you can see the stair case on the left.

Thank you. I've played through A Link to the Past more times than I can count and love it but LA just frustrates me with it's obscure design. That last dungeon really turned me off and I almost lost the desire to finish. Now I can finally complete it. Liked and subbed!
What the hell is wrong with you? Link’s awakening has some of the best 2d dungeons in the series. Meanwhile, ALTTP has bad uninspired dungeons. Turtle rock is at its best in link’s awakening.
@@voltron77 what the hell is wrong with me? Nothing because I'm not the only one who had a problem with some of the obscurity in the design and you can see that by how many people liked my comment and let's see in comparison how many agree with you
@@Saskidan Oh so now you’re trying to ratio me with 7 people. You know, Link’s awakening has some of the most linear design in the series and its impeccable dungeon design is what makes it so good. It has some of the most well constructed dungeons in any 2d Zelda game. Eagle’s tower and turtle rock are a great example. How can the game be obscure when it outright tells you where to go next half of the time. So yes, I do ask what the hell is wrong with you.

I did so much backtracking, playing the song to warp over & over on my 1st go.
Honestly I didn't watch the video until I beat the Hinox, whatever the hfil's carrying the spiked roller thingy...and I forgot the third one beyond the underground lava bubble sidescroller. I was honestly shocked when the Turtle head came to life due to what time it was (1:46 AM Est) ...Also I love the "Feed me Seymour" bit. I loved the reference to death.
I beat the game but still enjoy watching these vids.

17:25 you can bomb the south wall for a short cut. It wont be cracked, but you cn bomb it 😁🤙🏻

When I got the piranha plant it actually got stuck in the claw! Luckily the NPC was "Wow it's really jammed in there, hold on a sec and I'll get it for you"

Thankful for your walkthrough’s! This is my first ever zelda game (just wanted to experience this kind of game lol) and i wouldnt have found a lot of things or even get through the last dungeon (the bird one??) without your help hahahah i mightve just given up and put it on the back log if i couldnt get through a dungeon lol

Getting the last key is the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a videogame! Despite knowing the correct sequence, I fail every single damn time because my joycon are not precise and I can't make them steer when I want 😓 I'm thinking about abandoning the game at this point! I've already tried over 100 times!

That last Rob puzzle was challenging but I got it done. The joystick on the controller is what made it so difficult because I would push it one way then my thumb would slip ever so slightly changing the direction the bot was moving messing me up. I figured out the pattern Austin was using after about 5 fails but took probably 30 tries to get it right but I've spent longer on puzzles in games. The trick is to laugh about it and keep at it if everything was easy it really wouldn't feel like an achievement after you beat it now I'm going to go beat this boss down and complete the level 8 dungeon 💪.

Yaaaaaaaay! A Rock what I’ve always wanted for traveling across the world for 😏 well that was anti climactic lol 😂
It honestly is pretty useful, you get the rupee rain effect for your dungeon, so if you made a small dungeon with a couple chests and the easy color boss, you can easily grind for rupees.
After I beat the final Rob puzzle I chugged one of my dad's beers right in front of him then slammed the can on the floor like it was a football and I had just made a touchdown let's say my dad was not enthusiastic about the display I put on I got my ass grounded for it but the celebration was totally worth it 😆🤣. He said are you loosing your damn mind lmao 🤣🤣
Those damn “Rob” puzzles are hella annoying!

I just stopped collecting seashells as soon as I got the sword for 40 of them. Finished the game earlier today after a week of playing it for a couple of hours every day!
Austin, you should really do an extended tutorial on dungeon building. Some of these later ones are really frustrating to build. I really don't care that much about it, I just want heart pieces. Even in your walkthrough you've really skimmed over how annoying and time consuming it is to build these things......particularly "Passageway Central"

At 14:00 that room entered you bombed the whole in the west wall there's also a spot on the south wall that creates a short cut to get back in the middle horizontal stretch

I don't know about you, but using Rob to make the floor (10:29) was the hardest part of the game for me, especially the last three or four squares.
Say Austin, I mentioned in an earlier comment that it would have been cool to get a reward for getting all the figurines. What would you think would be a cool idea for a reward? My idea was a tunic with both max attack & defence. I just thought of another, remember the figurine place in Wind Waker? They should have done the same here, make a museum with figurines of the townsfolk & enemies.

If anyone has an easier way to do the last rob puzzle could you please let me know. I did all the rest but can't seem to do all those turns.
The hardest part of this entire game was 2 of the rob puzzles. Plus there is a glitch in my game. Where you shoot an arrow in the eye of the statue, my statue eye doesn't light up even though it makes a sound when I enter the room. I have tried several times to exit and re-enter and it makes the sound but I can't shoot an arrow in the eye because it doesn't light up.
