Well - she did "Life on Mars" by David Bowie so beautifully in the studio with Howard Stern that he got a rare occasion of lacking words.
She did "Famous Blue Raincoat" by Leonard Choen in front of a Canadian audience a few days after Choen passed away.
She has an astonishing version of Beatle's "Across the Universe".
She has a sensational version of "Rasputin" by Bonney M.. Still, if you want to understand how stunning it is, you must treat yourself to watching the original Bonney M live performance.
She has a beautiful and naked version of Mr Tamburine Man by Bob Dylan. She has also a version of Make you feel my love" by him - alone with her piano.

Aurora has a great cover of Imagine Dragons "Believer" on NRK P3 live. She had one hour to put the song together and rehearse it before singing it live. You'll notice she has the lyrics written down in her book on the piano. Just Aurora and a piano live. It's a great cover. I hope you take a look. Thanks.

Aurora is known for doing great covers, she has done something like 30 covers now.
Among the best ones are "The Beatles - Across the Universe" from the same "triple j" channel as Teardrop, and "David Bowie - Life On Mars", I recommend the version from Channel NRK (Norwegian TV) with 4.4M views, where she plays an old Fender Rhodes piano.
Then there is "Boney M - Rasputin" and "Ariana Grande - God Is A Woman" and "Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball" (from Apr 29th 2014 when Aurora was 17), all 3 from the NRK P3 radio station, like Imagine Dragons - Believer that @kevdenn recommended, where she had at most 1h to prepare the cover, but in the Rasputin video comments she wrote they only rehearsed for ~15min.
What they do on this P3 show, is to show the artist a list of songs to choose from when they arrive, and they get those 30-60min to prepare a cover, and then they also perform one of their own songs.
She also did "Harry Styles - Golden" on BBC Radio 1, it's on Channel Fabrice now, since BBC made their video private now for some reason. This might have been a quick prepare cover as well, since she has her phone on the piano with lyrics? We don't know for sure.
Let me know if you want more from the cover list 🙂 If you want to choose your favorite song, or maybe a song you don't like, chances are Aurora changed it enough to make it better.

Absolutely. Aurora‘s cover of “Life on Mars“ on NRK was absolutely masterful.

I don't think she changed this one up as much as she does most of her covers. That voice, though! 😍
Great covers that she completely changed: Boney M's "Rasputin" and Ariana Grande's "God is a Woman."

Also the Across the Universe cover....they switch it up quite a bit, and it's stunning.
She has quite a lot of covers tbh. Life on Mars is definitely one of the best...and one she very much made her own. She also did a studio cover of Alanis Morisette's "Thank U" that is VERY close to the original. But it works...because I've literally thought how that song sounds like something Aurora herself could have written.

She does a stellar cover of the Beatle's "Across the Universe" Her cover of Boney M's "Rasputin is fun. She turns it on it's ear. "Half the World Away" by Oasis. "Famous Blue Raincoat" by Cohen, a song I never liked until I heard her. Cohen was one of her favorites and she sang it at a tribute concert after his death. You can read the solemnness all over her.

She has many covers - of course less then her original songs but both her original music and covers are amazing. Many of them made as a challenge to make a cover within a 1 hour.
She usually/often change original songs a lot in covers but this one is different but not totally different from original (and I like original too). I love how it sounds. For sure her voice (accompanied with her band) just shine in this version and are main factor I love this cover even more then original.
I think I know around 29 Aurora covers :). For other covers examples:
    - "God Is a Woman"
    - "Half the World Away"
    - "La La La"
    - "Life on Mars"
    - "Believer"
    - "Across the Universe"
    - "Wrecking Ball"
    - "Famous Blue Raincoat"

Beautiful cover. You're right, this song fits her really well, so she did not change it so much, merely adding her "waving vocals". Some of her other covers can be far different from the original. I used to love Elizabeth Fraser's version, and I love this one maybe a bit more, because of Aurora's voice I guess.
Here are some covers done live for (and recorded by) norwegian national radio and TV broadcasts, during shows. They are interesting about how she can recompose songs (and she has a lot more covers):

One of her most popular covers for sure. Really nice! It's hard to pick a favorite (and my Aurora favorites tend to change over time), but right now "Across The Universe" from the same channel as this one, "Life On Mars" Live from Trygdekontoret and "La La La" from Radio Hamburg are my three favorites. "So Long Marianne" is another fine one, but filmed from the audience. Still really nice.
Really curious what her version of "Pink Moon" on the Nick Drake tribute will sound like. Especially since she tends to change them up quite a bit😊.

of cause i prefer when aurora covers herself. but there is a load of covers she did. and they are all good. there are also some playlist compilations of songs she covered. most times it's part of the game. radio play for promotions for a cover. the artists have one hour to prepare from a random pick, so it comes she covered boney m's rasputin once.

Just finding this reaction and not sure if you have done more yet or not but if you react to another one of aurora's covers i think you should do "god is a woman".
I am not a fan of the original but the way aurora changes it is amazing, especially knowing that she and her band were given the song when they arrived there and only had about an hour to make it their own and practice it

When we do things, a part of our mind is on something else. I suspect that this is not true of Aurora. Her commitment, her emotional involvement in this song is writ large on her being. The result is clear.

No worries. You can always spot the Bass VI by its horseshoe bridge and the 4 switch plate. Nothing else has that combination. Its a very versitile instrument. I play a Fender signature 4 string Bass in session work, but always have my Bass VI ready incase something different is needed. @@NotSoNumb01
