When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.

Her cover of "Life on Mars" is stunning. Several times she has done it. Either the Nidarosdomen arrangement or her first one where she accompanies herself on keyboard.
I see Aurora and her band have this songs text in front of them, so maybe also this was one of the "challenges" some live radio studios use to give Aurora to make a cover of on the spot. Sometimes of songs she did not know from before. She use to be given on hour to create the cover included rehersal with the band in forehand. The cover of Boney M`s "Rasputin" was made this way in the norwegian P3 studio. This took her a little under half an hour to make..Wery good reaction Steve !
Yes, this was on the radio here in Australia. The show is called "Like a Version", and they do the challenge cover thing, like P3 in Norway.
She’s also done a David Bowie cover, as well as a cover of Scarborough fair
She actually learned to play (an electric (kids?)) piano at a young age… the story goes that she had to learn it with one hand.. the other was needed to hold down the power button..
I love that story and it describes her perfectly.
The thing about Aurora is that the places she takes the melody are connected, so that you get a sort of cohesion, even when it looks like it won't come together.
Aurora has several covers that she has done and they are all AMAZING. I would recommend God Is a Woman and Is There Life on Mars next.

He split his channel into two for reasons he explained somewhere in a recent video, and uploaded his Aurora reactions to this channel.
