It is not that bad from reviewers that quickly give their reviews, but the ones that spend 30+ minutes to review 10 or less fragrances and they leave the names up for half a second, are not doing us or themselves good service.
Layton really is an incredible fragrance. Out of all my fragrances, I enjoy wearing it the most. I love the way I smell whenever I wear it. It 100% lives up to the hype.
I had the worst comment ever wearing Layton. Beautiful girl asked what I was wearing … I thought a compliment was coming my way .. nope ! She said “ I don’t know if that is supposed to make smell good but you smell like sick people at the pharmacy “ … once she said that it hit me , it smells like Carmex cold sore jelly . That’s all I smell now when I spray it and I haven’t worn it since

Bleu de Chanel was my wedding day fragrance. My wife said her favourite from my collection though was Red Shirt from about 10 years ago as it has since been reformulated
I selected the Falcon Leather. Wow! When I first apply this, I get an impulse to chase the finest single malt on the shelf. It follows. Demi is spot on. Subscribed.
I just finally smelled African Leather and it smells like PDM Layton. Opening and middle reminds of Layton very much but the drydown is different and more leathery.
L'Homme Ideal EDP was absolutely a love on first sniff for me. Smells so unique and sexy. You want to sniff the bottle all the time. And I had it now for 2 years in my collection,this is beastmode..

I know have many perfumes, but when I heard the word oud it sent me off on a new direction, Sultan pasha, maison Anthony Marmin, ensar oud and many other oud sellers from oround the eastern world. I have an amazing array of attars, but still have the Tom ford's clive christian, roja, Amouage attars and Amouage edp's. You need to tell us how best to apply fragrance for guys. I noticed a big difference when spraying mist and walking into it, rather than direct onto the neck area for example. The mist spray gave a lighter but somehow better fragrance. So yeah, let us know.

For some strange reason i kept getting the smell of pickles so it’s wild that you say you smell urine in it. But even with all that being said it kept pulling me back to smell the strip i had it on. That Neimans in downtown Chicago was amazing. Every fragrance house you could think of was in there.
I have used these fragrances and rarely got rave reviews, although African leather is underestimated and well done. I have gotten rave reviews from Back to Black, Amber Narguile, L' Immensite, Sables Roses, Sundazed, Blamage, Voyage, On the Beach, Under the Sea, Musc Shamal, Himalaya. You should really check these out

I started using Bleu de Chanel and I guess this is something that I am not liking on me or possibly this is not my taste. I guess I need to use it more to maybe get accustomed to the scent? One of my favorites was John Varvatos Dark Rebel but sadly that is discontinued now. Nevertheless 100% agree with this list (minus bleu de chanel for now lol) and keep up the great work!
I've been trying for years to find the beauty in BDC. Actually, I'm going to leave the office now to run over to the mall and give it one last try for the 100th time. And that's only because it came up on another top XX list of fragrances. There must be something wrong with me.
Happy to report that your regular praise of PDM Layton is the reason I gave it a second try, after being underwhelmed with my first experience. I ended up falling in love with it and now it's one of my go-to scents.
Thanks for the video. I have Layton and Musc Ravageur. I’ve worn Layton a handful of times. The only comments I’ve gotten were from men and they weren’t compliments. One said I smelled like Peach Schnapps, another said I smelled like his grandparents house. 🫤 The women I’ve been around whilst wearing Layton haven’t said anything unfortunately. So I hesitate to reach for it anymore. I’ve also worn Musc Ravageur out a few times and I did receive two comments from women. One said I smelled “delicious” and another said I smelled like “a vanilla candle” .. so although I love these fragrances, they can be divisive and are not always the safest option for garnering positive attention, at least here in Louisville, Kentucky. As cliche as it is, I’ve had the best luck with Sauvage, Explorer, Molecule 01 and La Nuit D’Lhomme - A couple more recent purchases I’ve been getting compliments on would be Azzaro’s Most Wanted and Dior Homme 2020.

I would like to say that not all of your faves are my wife's favorites, and some are not ones that I like to wear. I point this out so that guys don't assume that their girlfriend/wife/crush will necessarily have the same "taste" as you. Hence buy a sample first before buying a bottle. Having said that, it is highly likely that in the list above that at least one or more than one will be a perfect fit for the viewer. In my case, there is one clear winner that satisfies the wife and me with a few that are decent for me to wear. Thanks for all of the work that you put into these.
my favorite and i find it gets numerous compliments is MiN "Old school bench", but this must be worn on a cool or cold day/night as its a very warm aroma. I also keep DS & Durga "Amber Teutonic" around. My favorite summer fragrance is actually one made by a prince I know, which is light and has a cool yet slightly floral scent.

I prefer Kilian Straight to Heaven over Intoxicated and Angel Share mostly for the versatility. All 3 are sexy but STH is more bad boy and mysterious. Keep up the good work Demi!

Bleu de Chanel will be super awesome once everyone is wearing Bleu de Chanel. If everything smells like Bleu de Chanel does anything smell? It's being run into the ground like a pop hit lol. Got my hands on a few pdm's this past month and still trying to acquaint myself... I get Vicks vapor rub with Layton for about 2 hours and then magic happens.
On special occasions I would still use the original maybe just a decant , no clone is 100% I use the tux maison alhambra, RUclipsrs have hyped the shit out of it it's almost impossible to get it retail price. In uk it was selling £15£20 max. There is another one I came across recently £11 is just as good between tux and suits. I hope they don't get thier hands on that ,I'm let it sit for few weeks if it lasts longer then 8hours Il be buying few dozen.
Layer 1 spray of Basso on top of 2 sprays of Bleu de Chanel. It is straight up God tier. Try it buy a sample of Basso and fuckin try it. It reminds me of the smell of Italy when I went along the Amalfi coast, Venice, and Rome. Do it, do it, do it.

I prefer Kilian Straight to Heaven over Intoxicated and Angel Share mostly for the versatility. All 3 are sexy but STH is more bad boy and mysterious.

Recently did a blind buy with Jazz Club and I am so happy with it. It just has that addicting scent tht you can’t get enough of.

On special occasions I would still use the original maybe just a decant , no clone is 100% I use the tux maison alhambra, RUclipsrs have hyped the shit out of it it's almost impossible to get it retail price. In uk it was selling £15£20 max. There is another one I came across recently £11 is just as good between tux and suits. I hope they don't get thier hands on that ,I'm let it sit for few weeks if it lasts longer then 8hours Il be buying few dozen.

Layer 1 spray of Basso on top of 2 sprays of Bleu de Chanel. It is straight up God tier. Try it buy a sample of Basso and fuckin try it. It reminds me of the smell of Italy when I went along the Amalfi coast, Venice, and Rome. Do it, do it, do it.
