Appreciate it guys! We’re working hard to put out a quality product. Can’t thank you enough for the exposure. Excited for y’all’s brand!
Can you find the 7CC in the Ozarks?
Should be able too!
Old Forester 1910 and 1920 are delicious, readily available, and hard to beat at $50-70, imo. Dickel bottled-in-bond 13 year and the higher proof single barrels are great too
Bro the Old Forester 100 Proof for 20-25, one of my go to budget bottles.
They used to talk about OF all the time - but I think with the new label changes, they liked OF1920 a lot less
Maker’s 46 Cask is one of the most underrated bottles on the market today. Always a buy!
I've passed on the Holiday for the last 3 trips. I went today to my regular stop and luckily grabbed the last bottle. Pleasantly surprised and enjoying it right now.
Being a fellow Michigander I really appreciate how much you relate to state prices and availability. Thank ya!
What city are they near? I'm in GG.
Began my bourbon journey recently in part because of finding y’all’s channel. Felt pretty accomplished today tracking down a bottle of Buffalo Trace here in North Carolina! Keep up the good work!
Congratulations dude! Thanks for being here!
Dan and Sean will now be known as the “Barton Boys”
I'm actually kinda glad this was the top comment when I started watching... Because it got funnier every time they said something was Barton's
Just picked up a bottle of Ben Holladay, I was not disappointed for a $60 bottle.
I love these kinds of videos!
I always try the stuff the experts online like!!
It kinda helps guide me into trying new stuff and as a newcomer in the bourbon world about 1 year in, i like the insight!
So thanks for the advice guys!
Cheers!
Love the Origin bottle, and got the toasted this last release. It is SO GOOD
Hhhhmmm Ben Holladay is from Holladay Distillery, located at "One McCormick Lane Weston, MO" who woulda thunk... Their Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur is outstanding!
Where is the link to your new channel The Barton Buddies
Honestly Barton Juice is just good for the money.
Oh hey there! Cheers fellas. Thanks so much for the shoutout!
Holladay - Kansas City area (Weston, MO)!!!! They are putting out some great stuff. Nice you gave them some love!
Love that the Pursuit guys got some props today! They do work extremely hard and are putting out some fantastic stuff. I enjoy how frequently Dan said "available literally everywhere" on bottles that will never the light of day in PA.
Thank you! We appreciate the support
Holladay is available in MI and it’s $60. Good stuff.
Pursuit United’s 75CC wheater is my favorite wheater of all time.
Starlight has some bangers.
I'm headed to Missouri in a few weeks. I'm gonna pick this one up!
Appreciate it! 7CC is a blend of 2 rye bourbons and a wheated bourbon. Cheers! You can pick these up in MO as well!
@@ryancecil1509 sorry I screwed up the 7CC. I was relying on my inadequate memory.
I also bought the rye and like it but, to me, that wheater is something special. Since I’m not a big wheater fan, that blows me away. Puck fappy!
OK, maybe I shouldn't call it a wheater but it plays into my fantasy that I've finally found a wheater I love.
I have two regrets:
1. I didn’t buy a backup bottle during my business trip to OH.
2. You don’t distribute to MI.
I’m ready to try anything you bad boys do but I’m hobbled by the distribution.
I picked up a Redwood Empire Pipe Dream CS from work for under $70, no discount. 😱😱 Also I got our Amburana Starlight pick, that I did get a discount on! 😁 I'm going to pick up the Summerstock Whistle Pig here sometime in the next couple of weeks.
LOL, only 2 of these are in my state, obvious which 2. I live on west coast where we can't just drive 150-200 miles and visit 6 states. But we do have a lot of elbow room out here.
Lucky Seven IS NOT everywhere. I wish it were. I've been looking for one for a year and will have to order one online, but that puts it right around $100 with shipping. Is it still worth it for $100? Would love to get a 15 year Proprietor if one ever became available!
Holladay also makes a wheated Bib that is really good and I picked up a barrel proof from the distillery that is great!
I enjoy the channel. Liked and subscribed. Thanks for all you do. Educating the masses. Great job!
I've never heard of Stone Hammer before. It's not available in PA or NJ apparently. I'll have to look for it next road trip I take.
My local Binnys has the Chattanooga Founders and Ben Holladay, ill have to check them out!
They have just about everything on this list.
Surprised redwood empire lost monarch isn't in this list
Dragon's Milk Origin is available at Meijer locations in Indiana is anyone was looking! They also have Starlight most of the time.
Really like the Chattanooga Founders 11th Anniversary and the 1792 Twelve Year is my favorite of that line. I picked up 2 bottles of the new MM Cask Strength French Oaked and it is fantastic. 🥃
I just picked up a Ben Holladay the other day. Neck pour wasn't great, but after that it has been a great bottle of bourbon. 6yr, BiB, their own juice, $50ish. Yes please. And it's from my home state. I like how they show what rick shelves the barrels came off of on the side of the bottle. I've read they also release a distillery only barrel proof that doesn't last long when it's released.
Russels reserve 10 year for under 100 (50 locally) is my favorite bottle. I’m still relatively new to whiskey but this is my favorite of the 30 I have tried so far.
I just got that lucky seven Frenchman for $78 great bottle
"I'm gonna punch you in the " ... Vampire? Nice to know the 2023 Matt Madness Champ can still sneak a zinger into each video...
Went to the last New Holland drop and was surprised I didn't see you guys!
Got one of each of the bourbons and a case of the triple mash. Love New Holland!
Hey guys, in Michigan. Was at the local Me*jers . Had Kentucky Owl on the shelf with the 1 mistakenly taken off the Price. Used Michigan price laws to get it for 29 bucks. So check your locals ones and see if you can snag a bottle. I didnt get greedy and with a bit of finesse the manager was cooperative
The main reason I enjoy this channel is all the bottles are half gone. They clearly enjoyed the whisky and just taste it constantly.
Barton makes some great classic bourbon, my first was in 74' Very old Barton and it stuck! Good bourbon!
Haven't seen you guys with anything Hard Truth from Brown County, Indiana... Worth a look, IMHO. I'm a Bourbon Nut in your Patreon - Graig
Ben Holliday is in MI. Was up there last weekend and saw it at TW and other places around Ann Arbor.
Thank you for this list. My budget is tight, so I can swing about $100/month for alcohol. This was perfect, and exactly what I need.
Finally The Frenchman gets some props! For the proof it drinks dangerously like a daily driver.
Literally drinking a cask-strength store pick Ben Holladay while watching this. Cheers from Missouri!
In Pennsylvania we are so limited on what is available due to our Quaker laws still controlling our liquerylaws we get almost nothing. I wish I could pay you guys to send me stuff from Michigan
What about Journeyman Corsets, Whips, and Whiskey?!? A Michigan slapper that won whiskey of the year at the ASCOTS back to back!
The Chattanooga 11th anniversary founders says it’s 50% SB 091. Here they released a single barrel SB 091. Very few around, but it’s great. I managed to hunt down 2 more bottles
That Frenchman is fantastic. I finished my bottle a few weeks ago. Went back into specs in Houston and they had a store pick of it so obviously I couldn’t say no. Also found a cask strength JT Meleck when I was in Louisiana that I’ve been itching to open. I’m hoping that’s another winner for under $100.
Rebecca Creek Spanish Oak Double Barrel is one of my always go to's for under $100
Would love to see a video for your favorite picks for just Michigan distilleries.
So funny enough I found a bottle of Weller green label at $30 and of course I bought it. Every liquor store around here has it for $99. Plus love you picked a Starlight since they are down the road from me. If you get a chance you should try to find a Spirits of French Lick bottle.
Good whiskey used to be 40 then 50 then 75 now 100. Where does it stop? I’m retired and won’t go over 50 so i guess I will just have to miss out.
You guys got me sold on going to an Origin release event. Where I'm at, I can really only find small batch and full proof 1792. Haven't seen a 12 year, BIB, or sweet wheat even
Sweet Wheat is reallllly hard to find (one of the hardest seemingly). Usually BIB is a little easier. 12 is released on occasion it seems.
I'm jealous, we cant even find the full proof!
@samjperry Dang! They've have it at quite a few places where I'm at in Michigan. I usually always have a bottle of it in my collection, and it's not very pricy
Cracked a Dragons Milk tonight… 45 bones at the Kroger- What an apricot bomb! It’s so unique and good, and the bottle is friggin gorgeous too. Love this pick
i want to see that list of most unique things happening to bourbon right now. that would be awesome. great list. cheers
Thanks for the 12yr 1792 recommendation. I saw it at $100 in CA but passed. I might by it now.
Founders 11th is insane. My favorite bottle on the shelf right now.
Lucky Seven The Frenchman is $83 in Houston at Total Wine 😊
I will keep a look out for 1792 12 yr now in Mi. Thanks!
I buy Ben Hollady in Michigan all the time. Its here and its delicious.
U guys are nuts to not have both 2xo and knob creek 12 on there! Where are u bourbon hunting? In the back hills of WV??!!
Love your content fella's. Also from MI. Midland. Any word on our other friends on Bourbon Blind?
I’ve hear so many good things about Starlight (on the RUclips channels), but I’ve never seen a bottle on the shelf of any store here in Colorado.
Frenchman is found between 75 to $99.99/$100 even at MSRP.
Yeah looks like Flaviar and Caskers have it around $80
Yeah, $90 at Binny's in the Chicago area. Think we're safe on this one being under $100
Dan surprised you didn’t include RD One Amburana finish. Great list
We hadn't drank it yet or it would've been first on this list for me
Michigan pride and you are not talking about Journeyman Last Feather Rye. High proof barrel picks of this thing are available in a lot of the midwest.
Lucky Seven The Frenchman is 86 in Colorado
Store near me had The Frenchmen for $105 when it first came in, but now they have it for $95.
Guys do you look at availability across the US when you make your lists? Just wondering because invariably your lists have a lot of items on there that can’t be found in CT.
No we normally just go off what we've seen either around us locally or what we've seen recently on trips. Like you say ABC states, control states, and a million other things make it hard to say country wide things
If you ever need a Ben Holladay bourbon, BIB or SIB (better IMO) let me know. I live 25 minutes from the distillery.
You can buy it in Colorado too
1792 12 Year in Michigan not priced double is hard to find.
Many of those aren't even available in MD.
I’m surprised there wasn’t any Old Forester in that list
The Ben Holladay is sooooo good!
Just picked up Makers 46 cask strength for $65 in ohio.
What’s the #1 best bourbon at 50 bucks?
Why am I always anxious when they try to put two bottles on that mini pedestal? Spring from a second pedestal for each of you to have your own for my nerves sake…
I haven't tried any makers since the original 46 and I thought it was overpriced. Maybe I need to try the cask 46.
46 Cask Strength is miles above anything else Makers makes.
My god that tiny bottle ledge terrifies me. Get a larger display ledge. Lol. #Breakage #Cramped
Cheers!
Chattanooga Whiskey
"Most unique distilleries in bourbon" Now you gotta make it a video
JT Meleck Rick whiskey
I wish Origin was sold here in florida
Ben holladay soft red wheat is even better. If you see it buy it.
Best kept secret is Starlight’s BiB 10 Year Old Apple Brandy… it’s a Trap
Like these guys but I've never seen a single thing in person minus the MM that they just talked about and that seems to be a common thread
1792 aged 12 years for under $100? What candyland magical liquor store do you two go to again???
Saw 3 sitting on a shelf that were marked up to 89.99 in Oakland county
Evan Williams
Ben Holladay is fantastic stuff
Bought a Frenchman for $69.99. So you're good.
I heard Maryland where i live what special goodies do we have?
Sagamore is great and local to you.
Found Ben H. in Iowa🥃👌👍💯🥃
StoneHammer is currently being rebranded. It’s going to be released under a new name/label.
Great list guys. I probably would have never considered Stone Hammer, but I think I'll pick one up after hearing your take on it.
Ben Holiday is made in Mezzerrrra get it right! 😆
Chatta-newga not Chat-A-new-ga
What's the website to buy bourban online?
Can't find any bourban either due to the bour-ban
"Dyslexia but a picture thing." That exists! It's called Dysgraphia
A little disappointed 13th Colony didn't make the list, but otherwise a really solid group.
We don't have any of the base whiskeys here at the moment sadly
Never ever, ever, seen 1792 12 yr for sale. Only a lottery bottle.
All I see is 1792 sb😢
So what do they taste like? Lol😂
Stonehammer and Starlight are some wretched choices woof
Everyone's pallet is different bud. Weird how that works.
