oooo, that would be a good match up. I think I would give the forerunners the advantage in that fight, but it would still be close. It would be a similar fight to the flood, with containment being the biggest issue, however, the Asgard are not at a forerunner level of tech, and still fought for thousands of years against the replicators. MUJUNKY I agree but it also depends on what era of forerunner power we'd be using cause post human war might be more like 5 or 6 out of ten as the humans inflicted heavy losses on the forerunners then even further weakened by the flood but never the less a more fair comparison than star wars

My favorite is the stealth prowlers, they're so off the radar and dangerous being undercover it reminds me of stealth action based games. You should make a video about the rebels vs the insurrection if you haven't already, I feel like that would be intresting to see. Or even the empire vs the insurrectionists
Awesome video as always Ecks! The Prelate sounds like it would be an extremely interesting combat encounter. As for my favourite ship, it has to be the Covenant CPV-class Heavy Destroyer, it looks awesome.
Im looking forward the Phoenix coming back i love the way it looks, id love to own a copy of halo wars 2 i had to watch the walkthrough on youtube feelsbad but i loved the first halo wars on my xbox even though it wasnt the most balanced rts, and i love halo content so keep doing both you should also do some more real life military vs space ships(covenant ships) i loved the one you did with the star destroyer
The Lights Of Sanghelios was more of a religious rank than a actual covert spec ops rank. While they are still very capable fighters chosen from the best of the best that wasn't their primary goal, not incredibly educated in their rank structure and their goals but it definitely has something to do with the protection the Elite Senators. The only other Sangheli spec ops was The Zealots and Silent Shadows who each had different specializations in certain environments. The Zealots were primarily tasked with the recovery of Forerunner Artifacts but they can be seen attempting to steal information and neutralize Noble Team during the Destruction of Reach. Silent Shadows were tasked with the assassination of both Human and Disobedient Covenant targets alike.
I had never heard of the prelates up until this video, very interesting. Always good to see some of these videos that dive into the lore of other franchises. :D
I'm surprised that the Zealots placed above the Arbiters. The Arbiters are the most elite sangheili warriors that the Covenant have ever seen, an honor that is only bestowed when the Prophets' power is in jeopardy.
Well no... the rank of Arbiter isn't actually a proper "rank" in the Covenant. It's a high honor, generally given during times of crisis. Yes, Xytan was the highest rank in the Covenant, but that wouldn't make him an Arbiter.
OnyxInc I meant as arbiters being the most elite, despite xytans rank his legend should have well placed him above thel in terms of skill and being the best
That is true, as an individual, he is definitely more skilled than almost any arbiter. However, this list is about covenant units, not specific individuals.
OnyxInc the Arbiter lost that rank when one rebel against the covenant and is now a redemption rank that only goes to elites who have proven them selfs to be far too skilled to be wasted in being executed
My favorite ship, while pretty basic, would have to be the Orion. I've always loved MAC cannons in Halo no matter where it appears, and I can appreciate the reference to the Orion class of British battleships in WW2.
The OAS class assault carrier is my favorite, mostly due to the lore reasons of them being the flagships of the prophets and their immense size. Aways been a fan of super huge ships. Thanks for making your videos love your channel.
Thunderbolt Starfury from Babylon 5 vs the Sabre from Halo reach. VF-1S Valkyrie variable fighter from SDF Macross (not Robotech) vs the Zeta plus Gundam.
The Epoch-class Heavy Carrier is my favorite ship, mostly because I really like it's name but also because Carriers are my favorite ship time in any game. Love you Ecks!
Never realty watched sins of the profits, but if live to enter to win, some of my favorite uncs ships are the frigates, they habe a design that's really like that of a machine gun but giant and in space.. (really most unsc ships do) but it's the frigate for not just the looks, but I'd say the speed and just engine design makes it very interesting. And, just wanna say you make some spectacular content, but I'd love to see more versus
That was such a perfect selection of of characters of the halo franchise, I would certainly not want to be in the same room with them for sure. If I were a Spartan that is.
This was a good video and I was suprised the arbiter himself wasn’t included. Then again I see the pattern of how you were selecting. For the Halo Wars giveaway though, I really like the Sahara Class Oni prowler and Halberd class destroyers. I enjoy the angles of the armor on these ships and the overall usefulness of the designs in lore and gameplay on SOTP.
My favourite ship from Sins of the Prophets would have to be the OAS Class Assault Carrier, while not a CSO super carrier the OAS is still powerful in its own right and has a good balance of a carrier and a battleship
ooh close match but I think noble team probably 6/10 times it really depends on whether they can take six out quickly and thats because six was one of the only 2 spartans to be called a hyper lethal vector.
Lachlan Robertson When you have someone on your team who was a high ranking officer's personal hit man, could take out entire enemy bases without setting off alarms, and had to have about 80% of his file blacked out EVEN for the other super soldiers, Delta's tech advantage isn't going to mean much. I LOVE Delta, but Noble Team would just destroy them. Between Jun keeping them from peaking out, and Jorge giving covering fire, Kat, Carter, Emile, and 6 will easily be able to advance and Jorge can advance while laying down covering fire. Once Noble 1, 2, 4, and 6 get close, Delta is done. In all honesty, 6 could probably do it on his own if he was sent in to eliminate them, as he would have ONI's arsenal at his disposal so he could just hit them with a rail gun or Splaser from hiding, and suddenly the odds begin to drastically sway in his favor since Delta was always trained as a team, and losing a single member severally cripples the team none of the other members would be anywhere near as good as the one who died, if they would even be able to do it at all.
I personally love the basic unsc ships like the atlas and the Paris class heavy frigate, I also love the infinity but I'm not sure if that's in the game
Infinity would win. Eclipse wasn't made to be an outstanding warship which could take out fleets like the Super Star Destroyer could. It lacked weaponry and it's slow with small engines.
I gotta say the DSC-class support ship. Ever since I read that story in the Halo Graphic Novel, I fell in love with the eeriness of it, like a lone Piraña in the ocean of space. Extremely suitable for an undermining flood infestation, as it had.
I forgot i even watched this and commented that... I was looking for someone so i could know without watching the damn video... Turns out i already did
I love the longsword. It fits with Halo's "realistic" theme for the humans (how it's 500 years in the future, but still relatable stuff). It looks cool and futuristic, but also like it could be something in the US Military.
Ik this doesnt counts as a ship but the macro cannon defense stations are my favorite, i love building max amount on every planet and watching invading fleets getting torn apart.
Thel 'Vadam The Arbiters were highranking elites that failed miserebly at something (You yourself failed to protect Installation 04 against Master Chief). Before one of the Arbiters tried to declare the Great Journey as a lie causing the Prophets completely transform the title of Arbiters, Ancient Sangheili who held the title were self installed kings that used their melee skills to gain leadership. So not very fitting of the title 'Covenant Special Forces'.

Imperial fleet at Attalon vs CIS Fleet at Kamino
Would love to see this done with other species of the Covenant!! Awesome video and very informative!
Do a video on the Chimera from Resistance, please. I really want to see you cover more sci-fi universes, and the Chimera are my favorite.
You should ask the templin institute as well, I'd love to see that
I had never heard of the prelates up until this video, very interesting.
OnyxInc not really if that was the case then xytan would have been arbiter
Well no... the rank of Arbiter isn't actually a proper "rank" in the Covenant.
Gotta love the CAS-class for being my flagship for the Covenant. Also loved the vid Ecks, keep up the good work
My favorite ship, while pretty basic, would have to be the Orion. I've always loved MAC cannons in Halo no matter where it appears, and I can appreciate the reference to the Orion class of British battleships in WW2.
Finally a video dedicated to Halo( I know that you have done other videos of Halo but still it has been a long time since the last one )
I really like the Strident-class heavy frigate in Sins of the Prophets
For me it’s the longsword because I love how it looks futuristic but also looks like it could be the next aircraft for the US Airforce
Space force
Imagine a real life MAC
The most deadly and bad ass Covenant warrior should be that Elite Ultra Honor Guard that you fight in Halo 2
Great video! This is just my opinion, but I think Zealots deserved the first place
I was watching a lot of your starwars yesterday was in a Halo mood today didn't think to find you in this part of RUclips! :D
REQUEST: break down chief's luck element
Luck element? It's not a element
coming up on infra-red
Wrong element 117 Lu
+Ryan Estes ?
I think he means from the table of elements.
It is atomic number 117 called Uus
This was a good video and I was suprised the arbiter himself wasn’t included. Then again I see the pattern of how you were selecting. For the Halo Wars giveaway though, I really like the Sahara Class Oni prowler and Halberd class destroyers. I enjoy the angles of the armor on these ships and the overall usefulness of the designs in lore and gameplay on SOTP.
My favourite ship from Sins of the Prophets would have to be the OAS Class Assault Carrier, while not a CSO super carrier the OAS is still powerful in its own right and has a good balance of a carrier and a battleship
And the master Chief still waltzed through high charity like he owned the place. He's literally in his own dimensional tier.
I like the banshee.
Love the Paris-class heavy frigate. It's got such an aggressive stance. Looks great!
Deadliest unit hands down is jackal snipers on legendary halo 2
Nice video, I am going to check out Sins of the Prophet now. My favorite UNSC ship would have to be the Halcyon-class light cruiser.
Noble team vs Delta Squad
ooh close match but I think noble team probably 6/10 times it really depends on whether they can take six out quickly and thats because six was one of the only 2 spartans to be called a hyper lethal vector.
Delta has the tech advantage, but Noble has more members and superior enhancements
Noble Team vs Blue Team
There is a video out there of this matchup. Go look ot up. I think noble won the fight 7 out of 10 or something
I remember going for the achievement at the end of Halo: Reach where you have to kill the zealots before they run away. Good times.
I personally love the basic unsc ships like the atlas and the Paris class heavy frigate, I also love the infinity but I'm not sure if that's in the game
dude good on you for shouting out sotp, sotp is a really fun mod
Favorite ship in Sins of Prophets: SDV Corvette
Zealots are basically silent shadow but nerfed
Halo Valiant Class SuperHeavy Cruiser vs Star Wars MC 75 Cruiser
+TheRed Hawk I second this
I third this
I fourth this
I fifth this
I eat ass
The dav class corvette has got to be my favorite. It reminds me of the ship in a halo 4 campaign that stuck in my head ever since.
Do the eclipse vs the UNSC infinity
Mr. Schmidty I wish I had a channel pls do this!!!!!
Infinity wins
Xboxgamer117 K Eeeeh.....as much as I love the Infinity, the Eclipse would win.
Infinity would win. Eclipse wasn't made to be an outstanding warship which could take out fleets like the Super Star Destroyer could. It lacked weaponry and it's slow with small engines.
_SpartanJason521 _ I forgot about the super laser
I gotta say the DSC-class support ship. Ever since I read that story in the Halo Graphic Novel, I fell in love with the eeriness of it, like a lone Piraña in the ocean of space.
Extremely suitable for an undermining flood infestation, as it had.
Paris class heavy frigate VS Arquitens-class light cruiser
Nicholas poirier imperial version?
Imperial Way the republic one is a bit better armed. But either one would be a good matchup.
You know it's good content when the intro sequence uses a sample of a vaporwave song
my favorite ship is the Paris-class heavy Frigate
I like all the ships I seen mostly because I don't remember names easily so yeah. also great job on the video dude
2 Harrower Dreadnaught vs Imperial Victory Star Destroyer
Kenneth Kates
From the Sith Empire?
I love the usage of resonance in the beginning
5. Elite Zealot
4. Blood Star
3. Silent Shadow
2. Lights Of Sanghelios
1. The Prelate
NiftyBiscuit 117 What's the point is spoiling the fucking list?
Why did you read the comments before the video?
Dispose Account doesn’t everyone do that
I forgot i even watched this and commented that... I was looking for someone so i could know without watching the damn video... Turns out i already did
@@Noobkilla5861 Saves time
Favorite ship would have to be the covie carrier class, just the sheer firepower as well as the support capabilities are astounding
Top 5 Imperial commanders from canon
I'm glad you got the prelate on here, fam.
*top elite forces* “number 4 a bunch of brutes”
I love the longsword. It fits with Halo's "realistic" theme for the humans (how it's 500 years in the future, but still relatable stuff). It looks cool and futuristic, but also like it could be something in the US Military.
Not into Halo but still worth watching
Then you should give it a try.
Halo is trash there is no story no good characters multiplayer trash Destiny is better
Destiny... Destiny is better? 😂
What a joke
Ghentsu I’m preaty sure he’s joking.... I mean it’s April fools day and he just said halo has no story....so ye good one m8
The PreLates being able to go toe to toe with a Spartan II... makes me shiver
Behemoth class Battlecruiser vs Venator Star Destroyer
Ik this doesnt counts as a ship but the macro cannon defense stations are my favorite, i love building max amount on every planet and watching invading fleets getting torn apart.
#1 the Arbiters.
Edit- My favorite is the SDV Corvette
I didn't include the arbiters, although I probably should have. I guess my thoughts were that they weren't really a permanent fixture.
EckhartsLadder You broke my seven hearts man.
Thel 'Vadam I will become your nightmare hahaha
Thel 'Vadam Oh I did not mean to scare you, I'm sorry, haha
The Orion is awesome, twin SMACs in a small package (compared to superheavy cruisers) and the VO for it is fun xD
The arbiter
Didn't even know about half of these and now I'm even more interested in reading up halo lore. Shit man prelates sound epic af 😂
Could Reach or Coruscant survive a Zerg invasion
Neather halo is not ready for the kind of insanity that warhammer 40k will unleash
@@hankthehandkerchief523 I thought Zerg was Starcraft or whatever it is? They 100% cant beat Tyranids though, especially since they can't even beat The Flood!
xytan 'jar deserves his own spot because he was basically the elite master chief, but better.
