Great video! This is super helpful. Your tutorials are full of useful information without getting overly dense. You do a great job of explaining what you are doing and why.
looks a bit like Venus with thinner atmospere also some lava planets can one side completely molten , some can have thick atmspere and a few might be just bare rock
Hey can u make 2 render one with blender 2.79 and 2.91 and show if u can make the same level detail in both version of blender for the people with bad computer (including me 😅😅) cause blender 2.79+needs gpu and once get in via mesanjector or something else it will be laggy .thank you for the tuts ur tutorials help me understand procedural textures better.
Great idea cheap artist! I should do that. I'm sure it would work just as well, a few of the texture nodes have changed a bit since 2.79 but the core ideas still apply.
My goodness.. This is truly one of your best Procedural Works. Learned a lot from the stream
Thanks so much Sai!
A great looking lava planet Chris! It would be cool to apply that shader to ANT landscape for a fly in shot.
Whao! Great idea 4k!

I usually make lava planets by image textures and then the node work but seeing such detail procedurally really displays your skill. Cheers!
This tut's are great resource for scifi-stuff-nerds in blender - enjoy watching every time !
