      You will be digging up ALOT of target's that sounds good but will be a junk signal target and I Had the Simplex + since it was New and that's been for over 4 years now and I NOW have the X-Terra Pro and you have more options with the X-Terra Pro and are not stuck with the one single frequency of the Simplex and the X-Terra Pro you can change it to 5-10-15 and Beach 8 frequency and also the All Metal Mode is just a 1 Button Push to get to it And the Simplex is a 5-6 button push just to use it and the last target that was found the X-Terra Pro is telling him not to dig and the Simplex said that it was a great target and then it was a Moo Tube 😂 and that's what you will have if you get the Simplex Lite and Not when you get the X-Terra Pro but I just look for the Coin Numbers and it's a different Soils that you have over and across the Pond there and if you can get to the store and try them out before you buy something that you may have to go ahead and return it and also the Tone's of the Simplex are like listening to a sick Duck call that keeps going off and can't get rid of it....

      And Also the Very First Target that was dug, The Simplex Lite didn't know that a target was even there and the X-Terra Pro stood right up and Was loud and proud to Announce it and the Minelab X-Terra Pro is a Totally Great DETECTOR and the Notka Macro Simplex Lite is trying to play catch up again.....

    Hello from Greece, I am a vanquish 540 owner and I want a waterproof metal detector in order to search in salt water beaches mostly but also in the parks and in the fields. I was looking to X-Terra Pro but I saw some videos about the jumping vdi numbers and poor performance in contrast to other metal detectors. About Simplex new generation metal detectors I do not know much. As I told you I have a vanquish 540 which is good detector with stable and reliable vdi numbers but it is not waterproof. I am very confused and I do not know what to buy X-Terra Pro or something out of the three new simplex series? My budget is 300€. Since I have noticed you have used them I would like your suggestion. I am waiting for your reply, thanks in advance.

      Absolutely mate, the vanquish is a multi frequency detector and a belter of a starter machine! Infact I know people that have been detecting years and prefer the vanquish for its turn on and go features. In on of my older videos I found a bronze age gold ring with the Vanquish 340 :-) 😀 if your from the UK check this deal out at LP collabs.shop/cxuhj4 we have a Discount code TMDC10 That should get you 10% off the other stuff like pointers and finds pouches. • @TheMetalDetectingChannel
      @TheMetalDetectingChannel  Год назад +1

      It's a strange one really, I don't think it's to do with the patent as they released the 700 and 900 and the manticore but it think and I might be wrong it's just to upset things with Nokta lol as its a beast of a machine and it's cheaper than the simplex.

    • @66DMJC
      @66DMJC Год назад

      Interesting. I've found the Vanquish with the 12 incher still finds the small stuff which I doubt would be the case if locked to say 10khz which frequency I'd expect to excell with 2p sized milled coins (like a beach hunter machine which hunting is not my bag)

    • @TheMetalDetectingChannel
      @TheMetalDetectingChannel  Год назад +1

    • @66DMJC
      @66DMJC Год назад

      If only they'd retained the multi frequency in the Xterra as it looks more sensible than my Vanquish from the point of view of weight, waterproofing and I think it's shorter folded (I can't get the Vanquish into my rucksack). Agreed it was a revelation when I first tried it and I think you've found it to be too. Keep up the good work, we can't all afford Manticores!
