A tip for anyone using these. Doesn't hurt to put some weight on the barbell you're hanging these off of, for safety. Otherwise, if you accidentally bump the hooks into the barbell it could fall right down on your throat.

Necessity is the mother of invention! Trust me, I wish I would've thought of this and the platemates--another genius invention. Thanks for posting this video.

Kicking the dumbbells off of your knees doesn't work when you're trying to do an exercise like military presses. That's why I'd love a pair of these bad boys. I have a bum shoulder that makes getting the dumbbells into position for military presses very hard without a training partner. I need these!

dude i'm sold. "thank you jesus" tells me that they are just the solution i've been looking for. i'm a skinny cat, and kneeing up anything over 75# DB's is a little hairy. no shame in working smarter. you're still getting every bit of that set. thanks for sharing!

some people have problems lifting up the dumbells from the knees. i.e. in my case it hurts my shoulder really badly

I only have 80lb dumbbells. But my gym has 125lb dumbbells so the work great on the bigger heavier dumbbells!
