I just got the Pro 2.0 model and they work for my Bowflex 1090's, which I was really relieved to find. With problems in my shoulders and elbows, I just can't kick up weights like I used to 20 years ago. The model of Mad Spotter I have doesn't have the neoprene.

For the record the Madspotters work fine with the original Powerblocks USA Elite (with the white plastic housing and metal pins). You just have to insert them from the side and slide them into position.

I have shoulder pain and thinking of selling my nice pro series 90lbs powerblocks since they don't work with these mad hooks😔...If I sell them I will get some adjustable dumbells that go up to 50lbs only for my hitt workouts. I probably get loadable handles to use them with my 25lbs olimpyc size plates and these spotter hooks. I tought about getting the ironmasters but don't like the fact that I have to bring them down to change weigjt as opposed as the loadable handles where u can live them on hook and load them from there.

I like the idea of loading loadable dumbbells in the hooks. I agree, that taking them down can sometimes be a pain from the height of the hooks, but if you keep the hook attached it's not bad with the IM's. I'm about to drop a review in the next couple of days comparing the Ironmasters, Nuobell, and Powerblocks. Maybe check it out to see if it changes your mind. Also, Ironmaster's are on sale today and tomorrow.

I got the Powerblock Pro and you can unscrew the lower link with a T25 (the center connection parallel to the handle seen @8:25) and either move it to the left or right, there is one additional hole at each side. Could you do that and try it again? I think the Mad Spotter then could be placed around the handle, thanks in advance.

That's a great suggestion. Let me take a look and see how it works. I'll keep you posted.

It still would not work with the Mad Spotter hooks. The two black support bars are too close to the handle for the hooks to get through/around. Good thought though!

Got my Mad Spotter Hooks today and they actually do work with the Powerblock Pro EXP. I made a short video:

@@ChristopherMelke Nice job! I like your approach. I do think it will be a lot more challenging to modify weights with the powerblock pro exp. I would be interested to hear your experience once you've tried it out for a bit.
