I know you have a video loaded when I see you comment here. Funny how often the two of you coincide. See you there soon, Todd. EDIT: Or maybe I was wrong about that.

Very good video. I liked the step by step instructions given and the grounding wire instead of relying on metal to metal contact.

I didn't realize that a wire loop that is a bit too wide will tighten around the screw when the screw is tightened. That's good to know! Guess I never noticed it or it didn't register. Thank you and great job, Scott. 👍

something interesting you mentioned in your video about the capacitor would increase the voltage and lower the frequency. allowing the 90 volts to be increased to 120 or more does self looping exist

An electrician laughed at me when I asked if it was ever appropriate to use EMT for the ground connection specifically in reference to an even older house.

For many years it was used in millions of homes, still is.

wow a lot of mucking about for you guys just to switch outlets, perhaps just order some aussie outlets, since they are onboard switched,...of course you'll have to bend your plug pins to the / \ look, and rewire your plugs as our phase is on left and neutral on right looking at the finished product with the phase switched :)
