super helpful, i just rented a mini-ex this weekend to do some drainage tile and stone backfilling for a small retaining wall. I have been tossing up the idea of getting a sub compact or compact tractor with a hoe. Many people told me dont bother, they dont dig well. That may be true from a productivity standpoint, but this small machine would have certainly done what I needed this weekend. Tired of wasting money on rentals and paying people for work I can do, just need to get the equipment to do it and I think something like this is just the ticket!
I 100% agree with you on every word, i think this piece of equipment will be perfect for doing projects on my 2 acres, plus it's not big and as intimidating as the larger pieces of machinery, i love it, i was actually looking to purchase a mini excavator but hell this little guy does that and more with the various attachments this would be all that i need especially as a female i could do my projects on my own and save lots of money from having to hire people to do the work😁

Have to say, you have some of the best reviews on RUclips in regards to Kubota equipment. I just purchased a BX23s today (Tennessee) and just wanted to thank you for your time, energy, and knowledge, Sir. I wish I lived closer to y'all so you would get the sale, because you (over the last week of research) seriously sold me on the bx23s vs. the 1025r Deere I was previously looking at. Thanks again and I can't wait to use it!
I think I watched all of your BX videos, and others on Massey and Mahindra machines. I'm in Wisconsin so will probably never get to one of your locations but you can take partial credit for me buying a Kubota! Thank you.
Great video you sold me on the BX23S. It being delivered today. I figure I can use it for 2 years and if I’m done with it I can sell it for a loss of 2 month rental. $18,000 or more not too bad!
But still was dogging on jd controls yet that's what they have.... I'm not a fan of jd controls and would switch to caterpillar as soon as it hit the yard.

I was thinking about either getting a corvette stingray or one of these bad boys. I already have a Camaro SS. I'm heavily leaning towards a beautiful Kubota.
I kneel in the seat and just work fast. I gave up on rotating the seat the first day since I was digging and rolling pretty fast. Also, no futzing with climbing in and out all the time. Try if you are still flexible enough.
Hi...Thank you for the video's. Scouts Canada just bought a BX25 for one of our camps & your video's really helped. Can we use the video's to train some of our wardens? Looking forward to using it.
I looked at the kubota and there was about 10 there with backhoes and all of them had a lot of slop in the backhoe controls. That turned me off. Then the sales guy not staying off his cell phone. Was enough for me. I always wondered if the controls could be tightened up.
Thanks for tecaching, I just bought one, awaiting delivery. Question: Is it possible to drag logs around with a clevis and chain with the backhoe still attached? I'm not talking about using the backhoe at the same time, just crawling underneath and getting a clevis and chain on the draw bar to move logs around lenghthwise through skinny tree lined paths. Would the chain hit the backhoe while pulling?
+sahmadi1000 for the old series one would have to be fabricated for the new 23s that just came out there's a skid steer coupler that would make it much easier
Has anyone had any issues with their backhoe hydraulics?? I had up/down and swing left/right valve banks break down and started leaking and letting in air so they would not move. Listen to this... I called local dealer and had them pick it up. 450h on tractor, 150h on BH This is a B2650 with a BH77. I grew up on a farm so i'm very used to diagnosing all sorts of problems, but in all honesty have hardly had ANY issue with hydraulics. I remember changing a couple banks on the potato harvester and it had like 12 in a row. I fixed it by replacing the 2 faulty banks and never had another issue. BUT my dealer put a used broken bank just like mine(actually worse) on my machine and changed all the pressure valves and billed(tried to)me $3600+It came back working worse. Before truck was out of sight it was not working. I had to PUSH HARD on the levers to make it move anywhere, when it did finally move. Now nothing works properly. This is second time this dealer has damaged my machine. Not to mention almost 4 hours and emptied fuel. Went almost full and in 4 hours had one bar showing. Either stole fuel or run it full throttle every second it was on. Dirty...mud all over and backed into a sand pile (while testing)so hard I could not scratch off with finger nails. Start it up,,, move levers, if it works all is good. If not you don't run it for 4 hour,,, idiots. Had it for 2 months total. I'm going after a new backhoe. Does anyone agree with me??? I would like comments... Like I said this is the second time I have damage done at this dealer, and last. The owner of the business is coming to see what was done and to take care of everything in spring.(not taking my tractor down any salty road) He has been very good to me and I do trust this guy to fix everything up like before. (had to repaint and replace a few scratched parts). The seat belt was on backward when I originally purchased machine, how dumb is that. He is at a different dealer 100 mile away. PS: The pin the locks the swing movement was silver in colour, and I had painted it 2 tone grey. That came back bent and paint chipped off all over like it was used to pound something. That tells me a lot about the use it got....The hole that it goes in to lock boom is OVAL now. So if you think I should have a new backhoe give me a thumbs up, if not, a down thumb. I don't know about most owners but I would like to see Kubota reverse the outriggers so pushing my control forward as most other iOS controls would lower the outriggers and pulling on the controls would raise them. Away from you down and towards you up.

I like how efficient the backhoe is. You dug a nice potential post hole in no time at all. And didn’t even break a sweat. Lol! 😊
Great video. Im renting this tomorrow from home depot and i feel a lot more confident after watching this.
This video was so well done, very helpful and I can't believe how well that little tractor can dig. It would be a great stump puller I bet.
I've removed a few trees with it, dig around and it pulls it right out.
Great demonstration. My son and I purchased a 2024 model last week and look forward to using it our 2 acre property.
At least he dug in actual earth. Most of these videos are salesmen running them in sandboxes. Props for that!

For a 16-17 year old tractor with 284 hours dang you got a great deal, not even broke in LOL.
Great video I love my BX 23 I have owned and used it for almost 20 years and and love it. Nothing but basic maintenance.
Thanks so much for the video. I am going to pull the trigger on one of these, in the next week or two, and have been watching a lot of your videos.👍
Mine is a 2004 BX TLB not the fastest back hoe, but it sure beats a shovel and it fun to use it.
