Oh my goodness, I am SO enjoying myself going back through your oldest tutorials, Daniel! I know you won't see this as it's so old, but am trying to remember to leave likes and comments to boost your YT presence (or whatever that's called). I love reading all the other comments, too. The "Cooper Effect" is a perfect name for your techniques you've been developing. 😊 Commenters are correct: your voice is very soothing and calming, plus you're a natural at teaching!
@@chasingrainbows2344 it's because our daughter was very hooked on it, I initially presumed it was for the younger generation. How wrong I was 😂. Some great material on there :)
I'm going through and re watching all your videos. I just love how you teach and come up with brilliant ideas on new techniques, or show us techniques you have learned and explain how to do them.
This effect is called petri, and you are pulling wisps through it, so your explanation of the effect was spot on. Normally you put white drops on your colors to make them 'dance' but since opaque is heavier than clear they already do that by themselves. If you want bigger strains of petri you can always decide to add more white on top of the colors. Of you want more control you could drop white (or color) in with a toothpick, or even a needle for very fine control.
Lordy. I've checked you out due to all the comments I've been getting on the Facebook resin group I joined recently. Your name comes up quite frequently. After watching some of your later vids, I've decided I want to start back with your first. I absolutely love your chuckles. You definitely have a following here in the states!

I notice the petri effect is quite a bit more defined with the opaque inks, than when using transparent alc inks and sinker white dropped on them. Huh. Wonder why?
