This is my nature getaway area. I live in Grand Junction so this is roughly a two hour drive. I love knowing this is all just a hop skip and a jump away.
Great drone shots… Great back stories…. Great insights…
Can’t imagine how many chargers and battery packs you travel with….
Taking care of your cameras, accessories AND Bella!
You are an organized and ambitious man
True, yep my center console is full of chargers and battery packs, you guessed it.
I remember telluride from the 1960's/70 when dogs were sleeping in the street in front of the old bank and hippies were walking down the street barefooted and poppies were growing in the empty lots of the main street and back street ruins... I was a kid camping at the city campground there at the box end of the town with my parents... I remember the drive out of there taking a left and going straight up and my dad talking about how he bet you could buy land there cheap and how gorgeous it was... Definitely a different world...
Absolutely beautiful. Wow. And what a great job you did filming this!! Plus all the helpful info. Bella’s smiles were priceless. Sorry you got banged up but so glad it wasn’t worse. Looking forward to your next video 😃
Thankyou, Suzie, yep that bike accident was just enough to make it funny, but not too serious.
I've been watching videos about the beautiful USA for years now. Even though I have appreciated the efforts of many creators, I never cared to write a comment for them since I'm not a good writer or speaker. But this video was beyond my imagination. You can't possibly believe how much I enjoyed it. It was worth every second of the 31 minutes. So glad I came to know your channel. I will definitely try to watch other videos of you.
Thank you again :)))
Thankyou Mehran, I appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback. I hope you enjoy our other videos as well.
Just brought my sons to the southwest, all over southern CO and eastern UT. Colorado is absolutely amazing. Been going there for decades and moving to Durango in next two years. Such a beautiful area.
@@TheEwokExplorer : Colorado is not in the southwest?
@@janellestevens2316 huh? why would i mention it if it wasn’t in the southwest?
This is so beautiful !!!
Thank you for the
impressive video !!!
👍👍👍
Thankyou Annette for the feedback
This is hands down the BEST and MOST IMFORMATIVE travel video I have seen. Thank you for taking the time to put all of those details into this video. Informative and beautiful! Awesome job!
Thankyou Todd for the feedback, much appreciated
Excellent vid with very professional photography and drone work. Not to mention your flawless editing. I know well what is required and appreciate your work. Plus the Telluride - Ouray - Silverton area is my favorite in all of Colorado. KUDOS.
Thankyou Jay, I appreciate that feedback
This video is so well done, from the scenery to the music choice. Colorado is beautiful. Well done and Bravo!
Thankyou Patrick, yea, always interest to hear people's opinion of the music, thanks.
i’ve been looking for a video like this for forever. incredibly informative, well put together, and AMAZING shots of scenery
Thankyou for the feedback...Yep I hate when I watch other travel videos and they give you little info so we always want to give good content
i'm not sure i've seen a better edited and produced non commercial youtube video. i have been to all these places several times and i learned so much! the detail you went to! well done sir
Thankyou for the feedback Keenan, I appreciate that.
@@TampaAerialMedia
Yes great vid!
Suggest edit @14:45 from 'north', to 'south to ouray...' cheers
Bella did a great job editing...😁 beautiful footage as usual!
Yes, she does pretty good for a dog.
Probably the best video documentary/ narration of Colorado/ that area I've seen! Very nicely done!! Moving to Grand Junction in a few years and this video makes me want to move sooner!😂 nice work!
Thankyou Tim for the feedback.
Thank you for this, and because of this video I'm going to all three places you listed! Thanks also for the vegetarian food reviews, that's another thing I can make great use of!
Good to hear, keep us posted on how it goes
My oh my, these towns have sure grown up beautifully since 1972, when my friend and I were there as young adults! 😊
My first visit to the area was a decade later and a lot of California and East Coast money has made it into a tourist carnival.
That's around the time my parents moved from Milwaukee to Telluride. They said it was a completely different town back then.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE 💗 How you always show us the pet friendly options. Thanks for the amazing videos 🌟🌟
Thankyou Gabby, you are welcome glad to help.
You make the best travel videos ever. My wife and I live in Spring Hill FL, north of Tampa, and love joining you and Bella on your journeys. Thanks.
Thankyou Arthur great to hear from you, Yep I know Spring Hill, a fastly growing area.
Awesome video! Loved all your cool aerial shots and the ones with Bella 😊 I went to Telluride this summer with a few girlfriends and we stayed downtown. So pretty! I was at Cowboy Coffee every morning. We took a day trip to Ouray to do the Perimeter trail. Gorgeous! We stopped at the Orvis Hot Springs on the way back and man, what an experience. We loved it after a long hike! We did Bridal Veil trail in telluride and that was a bit harder but so worth it. I loved my trip and can't wait to get back with my kids, husband, and dog! ❤
Some of these shots, I'm like "How did he get that shot??" I'm sure there are some fun stories on how you managed to get some of the angles you did, like the underside of the train. LOL
Thankyou, yep placing a GoPro the tracks
You really included a lot of info! We’ve visiting this fall. Thank you!
You are welcome, hope you have a great time
Silverton is such a beautiful little town, really hoping to visit Ouray the next time I'm in Colorado.
yep Ouray is a must. Last time I just passed through it, but said if I'm every up here again, I'm going to visit Ouray more, so this time I did.
@@TampaAerialMedia Already planning my next trip. This video has really helped me decide what I must visit the next time.
This has helped us finally decide where we want to build our "forever" home! Thank you!
You are welcome Evelyn
Beautifully done! Thank you, too, for the information on vegetarian fare and dog friendly trails and lodging.
Thankyou Jai, I appreciate that feedback.
This is one of the most beautiful videos I seen in 2022. Thank you Sr.
Thankyou Edward for the nice words.
And I thought I had already explored enough of Colorado just by visiting Denver and Boulder, LOL. I'm gonna need to fix that, and this video is the solution. Thanks...
yep so much to Colorado, and we never even covered the Canyon City & Colorado Springs/PikesPeak areas.
Your videos are so helpful. My youngest daughter and her husband moved to Colorado Springs after they graduated from LSU. Your videos help me figure out things we can do when I visit. Actually, I watched your Charleston video a few years ago and plan to visit both Colin Springs and Charleston this summer. I might move too! Thanks 🌞!
Thankyou for that feedback, yea I need to do some more videos in CO
@@TampaAerialMedia I live 20 minutes from New Orleans, so I spent time in downtown Colorado Springs this past visit. It was much easier walking and breathing. My first visit last summer I tried Garden of the God's, got dizzy, and fell down! I guess the altitude change takes small steps. 🌞
Thank you for sharing with us.
My pleasure, thankyou for the comment
Hello Randy, In the end I didn't manage to fall asleep until I watched the whole video and didn't wait until tomorrow. however, I have to get up early to go to work. otherwise, the video is superb ,, the architecture and the landscape strongly resembles that of europe (switzerland, the french alps ...) Now I understand why you had a bandage last time, luckily you didn't have a broken elbow. Thank you very much for this great video.
Thanks Abdel, hope you got some rest, you can always watch the video later. Thanks for comment and all your encouragement
😉
I love Bella. She is so cute and goes everywhere with you. She is very tough to go and bounce around with you. What a great companion.
yep, I do sometimes wear out Bella, but she loves it.
Glad I saw this area a couple of decades ago before it was turned into a tourist carnival.
The nature is as wonderful as ever, just with a ticket to see a tree (ugh).
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, you are welcome
It’s beautiful there for sure. I am from the mountains of Colorado and I miss them very much. However, learning about Florida has also been very fun!
Yep I think Florida & Colorado are great compliments to each other, gives the best mountains and the best beaches.
My son and I made this trip on our Harleys in 2010. Amazing.
Yea, its has to be exhilerating to ride that part of the country on a motorcycle
100% agree. Best travel video. Obviously a true professional. It seems travel is not your main gig so appreciate you sharing your art. I have no doubt every local CVB would want to purchase footage. Well at least they should.
Thank yep it has become my main gig thankyou
Well your are indeed very good at your job… so thanks again for sharing. This has saved me hours and hours of research preparing for my trip to the area. Appreciate you!
Grew up in Ouray in the '60s. How it has changed. My parents owned the Ashley house 2 block up from the Beaumont Hotel. Fantastic video of the views. The reason for no guardrails on Million Dollar Hiway is so that county & state snowplow can push the snow over the edge of the road in winter.

Thankyou for the nice words
Great video Randy! Telluride is definitely going on my travel bucket list.
Thanks Matt, yep I think Telluride is worthy to be on the bucket list.

Thankyou Dan, yea I'd highly reccomend it.
Great video I love that area

Ouray Chalet Inn was just recently turned into affordable housing for the locals. I had stayed there a few times and loved the place. The price of a room there was unbeatable. The secret is out about Ouray.
wow didn't know that, thanks for the info.
hello, you just posted a video, it's late at home at 1:20 am. I look at the rest tomorrow. thank you so much
Muy buen vídeo gracias 🤗
Best footage I’ve seen of this area! No surprise its by Tampa Aerial😊 Tks for
enjoyable half hour👍
Thankyou Aurora, I appreciate it
It is very expensive! We used to ride the area on motorcycles which gives a unique way of seeing the area. Beautiful area and a different attitude many people here live by.
I live in Telluride and never saw such an awesome video. New subscriber to your channel. Looking forward to watching more.
Thankyou Stewart, great to hear
This was my first video of yours but won’t be the last. I hope to make it out there again, it’s so beautiful. Thank you for the info and scenery.
Thankyou LG, great to hear

Amazing place 🌍🇺🇲
Great job
Thankyou.
Awesome area and video!!
Great video, thank you. We have a trip planned here a month from now. We are doing the train for sure, and taking our Jeep on a bunch of the mountain trails. Also doing the gondola ride. Hope your arm heals quick.
Just FYI, the switch backs on black Bear Rd are one way into Telluride so you have to start by 550 and go to Telluride. There are a couple of other mountain pass trails that are 2 way in and out of Telluride.
Oh man. The bomb man
Thankyou Gino
Great job! Thank you.
Thankyou George, I miss you as president

True Grit in ridgeway. The piano player at The Outlaw in Ouray.
Hey randy thank you for a good show
Thankyou Jim
Great video
Thankyou Daniel, much appreciated
very informative video
Great times
I'm trying to plan a 7 to 10 day trip to show my 75 yr old father Colorado which I've been to many times, him never. I'm wanting to show him Ouray to Estes Park, to eventually drive down the front range along the foothills to Boulder then fly out of Denver. So hard to plan as there's little time and so much I'd like him to see. Great video, gave me some ideas so thank you.
Plan on going end of September for the peak color and elk rut.
Great to hear, glad to be of help...He should really like that, especially downtown Ouray
Just remember, Black Bear pass is ONE WAY, so if you go up to Bridal Falls you cannot get onto BB pass. Awesome video, thank you for sharing.
Good point, thankyou.
You should of invited Nikki to have coffee with you🤷♂️
Beautiful place I will definitely put it on my list of places to check out. As usual great job👍
Been to Telluride, loved every minute I was there. Going back in October. Butch Cassidy robbed his first bank in Telluride.
Hi (What is your name) and beautiful angel Bella. Thank you for both of you for sharing your super trip with us. I love your informative and extremely interesting videos. I will continue watching you guys. 🥰
Thankyou Rephael, it is Randy. I appreciate the nice words, glad you enjoyed.
@@TampaAerialMedia ❤
I was a regular in Telluride for a long time, starting in 1987. This vid just reminds me of how much I hate it now.
Definitely would add Mouse's Chocolates & Coffee on the main drag across from rooftop brewery. And China Clipper Inn, a block down, excellent buffet breakfast included
I’m leaving my home in Fort Lauderdale on March 1st to stay in Ridgway. It will be my accommodation base for snowboarding in Telluride. I might do the train into Silverton…
Sounds fun, yea you have to do the Silverton Durango Train.
A deluxe coffee machine !!!
Seeking recommendations! I am coming from Texas & will fly into Denver then drive to Telluride, Ouray & Durango. Would you recommend 1 hotel for Telluride & Ouray then another for Durango & Silverton? I am 2 days into planning this very trip when I discovered your video. I cannot thank you enough for creating this all inclusive video. Absolutely perfect!
Probably easier getting a hotel in Ouray then Telluride. Ideally would be good to get a hotel in Telluride than another in Ouray so you can experience a morning in both of these towns. Going to be much easier finding lodging in Durango than Silverton, you'll want to allow alot of time to travel the Million Dollar Hwy so that you can stop along the way because so many great scenic points. In Durango, if you like KOAs, there are a couple of good KOAs with Cabins, stayed there in a previous trip and was very happy.
In case someone hasn’t said this, Black Bear Pass has a section that is one way only. So you have to start on the Ouray side to go to Telluride. Not the other way around.
True
You know your in the mountains when you gotta take two gondolas to get somewhere
Good point
Good video, just a few errors.
BLACK BEAR PASS ROAD is one way from RED MOUNTAIN PASS-TELLURIDE
As a pilot KTEX holds a special place in my heart, it is not the highest airport in the US, that is KLXV Leadville, Colorado at 9934’ vs KTEX 9070’, KTEX is the highest with schedule air carrier service.
Thankyou for the correction DW
@@TampaAerialMedia Black Bear is one of my favorite roads. Just 1 month after building my Jeep I took it from Ohio to Silverton just to Black Bear.
Love that area, went camping just outside of Ouray last year. Looks like Bella was the star of the show, just wondering what breed she is?
Thanks Turtle, she is a toy poodle which is the 2nd smartest breed only after a Border Collie.
The song played during the Million Dollar Highway was PERFECT! What is that song?
That's the Long and Winding road by Robert Shirey available on MusicBed.com
Heck yeah! I want to do this! I’m going to have suv so I can actually sleep in back so I don’t have to buy hotel every night. So I will fly in somewhere (Durango, Colorado Springs, grand junction) and drive. Any suggestions
