I'm in Florida now but I lived in Colorado for 3 years. You can NOT tell or show people what the Rockies are like without actually being there. It's as much a feeling as it is a sight.
True
So very true! I just came back from Colorado and the photos and videos do no justice to just how majestic it truly is.
I live in Florida and just went on a cross country drive to Boulder, then Montrose, then Las Vegas and back... its only been two months but I can't wait to go back, a feeling I did not have about Florida while I was there.
That is SO true! You’ve got to see it to believe it. ❤
I lived in Florida from 1993 to 1995, I now live in The Rocky's. You would NEVER get me back to Florida. So I get it. Grew up in Michigan, lived in Oregon for 8 years, Texas for 5 years, never live in the south again. Flat, swampy and humid, hot 10 months out of the year.
I am a 4th Generation Colorado Native. I Live in Denver but My family has owned a cabin outside Grand Lake Since 1971 and that is my most favorite place on the planet.
Hi, was a tour guide from’85 to’89. Based in E Park. RMNP tours. Driving the big red bus. Best part of my life!
Ran from E Park to Grand Lake. I now
Live in San Diego. I’m 84 and USAF air traffic controller, retired. Was also a technical illustrator for Beechcraft &
Boeing after my military retirement. Good talking to you all. Have fun.
Thanks for the comment, good story
Estes Park and RMNP is my favorite place in the world. I have never, ever, felt more at peace and in touch with myself as I do when I’m there. ❤
I'm a Colorado native, as was my Father and his family. He was part of the crew who strung the original cable for the gonsola! You've done a wonderful job of showing just how beautiful it is here and how incredible the mountains and the mountain towns are. I wish you could have shown the amazing wildlife of the area I.e. elk, bighorn sheep, mountain goats.. Not to mention mountain lion and bear!. I'll see you for my bi-yearly trip to Tampa!
Thankyou Holly, hope you enjoy Tampa.
Never visited there, was never a tourist. I was a resident of Denver/Estes Park from birth all through my early years till I went to college (CU/Boulder) where I resided another 12. Wait - I did visit all three much later, as a "German" visitor - several times, with my laddy, who knows and misses the RMNP and Boulder. Glorious.
Thank you for sharing the beauty and wonder of Nature. It lifts my countenance!
True, maybe with the exception with parts of Philly
That is great to hear, thankyou
The best place ever, and this is why Colorado is home. Side note, when you take the Estes Park Aerial Tram you can see the Stanley Hotel.
I used to live in Durango. I’m moving to the Boulder area in June and I think I will be on a nature high forever!
Just be prepared for the terrible traffic. Not trying to be pessimistic but the traffic and overpopulation has gotten really bad up and down the front range
I live in boulder and videos like this brings in to many tourists. I live on a mountain right by boulder falls and it kinda sucks because my yard is over crowded. Everyone throws there trash on the ground and i have to clean it up. Good video. I really enjoyed it. And so yeah this is Colorado. Its beautiful and now its overcrowded. And people are rude. They deface the mountains with spray paint. It makes me cry.
Boulder is my home for 67 years !
I’m born and raised in Boulder and lived in Denver but now Big Sur, California
Really enjoyed this video and subscribed. I live in Colorado, absolutely beautiful video! I love your puppy dog!!!
Thankyou Diane, welcome aboard
Beautiful Colorado!! I’m my bucket list to visit someday!!❤️
Another great video Randy! While watching these videos I remember why this is my favorite RUclips channel. Your amazing aerial videos, music and detailed facts about each location makes this channel the best!
Thank Matt I appreciate that, especially this week, been a tough week
I appreciate all the specific tourist information. This brings back childhood memories, and it's still beautiful!
you are welcome Julie
Thank you for all the travel videos. We live on a fixed income and we can't afford to go to the next town over. I love seeing all the different places. Colorado are my favorite ones.
you are welcome Jill
I live in California, but this year, we are going to Colorado, I'm so excited 😊.
Yep good move
I've lived in Colorado my whole life!! Grand Lake is my absolute favorite❤️❤️ If you're in Estes Park you need to tour the Stanley Hotel. Make sure to rent a Pontoon and enjoy the beautiful view!
Grand Lake is a very beautiful and atmospheric town. It is famous all over the world because the great American hero Marvin Heemeyer lived there. So many people have visited Grand Lake and Granby or are going there for this very reason.
WE LIVE IN FLORIDA, OUR CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN LIVE IN BOULDER, WHAT A SPECIAL TREAT FOR US , THANK YOU.
thats great to hear, now you see why your children love that area so much
another amazing video. Grand Lake has a special feel to it, an awe inspiring God's country type of feel. One of my favorite places in all of Colorado!
Yep I agree, Grand Lake is not commercialized like the other places.
I used to live in Colorado and will be back after years away soon. I have told so many friends about it and send them links to videos. they are all nice of course but I recently found you and these are the PERFECT videos to help them see and hear just how great it is ! the PERFECT mix of information/narration, ground views and aerial views !!! THANK YOU and we are all already looking forward to watching more together! Plus you have inspired them to start making concrete plans to come out !!!
Thankyou John for the nice words, I appreciate the feedback, great to hear.
I live in and was born and raised in Estes Park. I love the detail that you go in to about all the things and features there are to do not just in Estes Park but the whole state. You just earned a like and a subscriber.
Thankyou ERS Aviation, I appreciate you letting us know, welcome aboard.
@@TampaAerialMedia Thank you for making the video. It was very well done!
This has GOT to be a little slice of heaven!
Fantastic video! I used to live in Colorado when I was a kid. Love Estes Park. Beautiful state!
Thankyou, yea sounds like you've traveled quite abit as well
Thanks for what you are doing. I lived 5yrs in Lakewood Colorado and worked all over the great and beautiful state. I had to move back to Oklahoma due to the covid crisis. I miss Colorado so much and you take me back to places I have been and love adding thing's I didn't know about.
Thankyou, hopefully you are able to move back soon
We love your product series because it educates us to all that is available in the state of Colorado. We move to Colorado in 2020 and enjoy all that is offered. Continue your work and we will tell our friends about this channel. Mahalo
Thank you Dick, glad to be of help
You win the award for best soundtrack/song selection. Great video.
In 1974 I was able to land a summer job with the National Park Service. Our work schedule was 1o days work-4 days off. My job with the NPS was to work with 4 other people on the hiking trails. We would spend 10 days on the trails, keeping them clean and safe. Also, we would pitch our tents off trail, then build fires to cook our meals. After the tenth day, our boss would pick us up, then drive us back to our living quarters called: "barracks". This was my first time being alone by myself, since I was from Arlington, Va. Anyway, I came across this clip, and I recall those days. I remember meeting my cousins from Kansas City in Boulder. Being with no car, my only transportation was hitch hiking. I thumbed from Estes Park to Boulder, and also a trip to Denver. I met some nice people in Colo. We, also, partied a lot. Drinking age was 18, and recall a place called: "The Rock Inn". Enjoyed your video, makes me want to go back.
Great story thanks for sharing.
I'm from small town Wisconsin and gonna be going up to Estes in a couple weeks! Thanks for this! The layout you use for guides is much better to base the area off than google maps.
I lived up in Grand County for a couple of years and worked for Grand Co Rd and Bridge. I loved it up there and got to explore all the back roads and trails. My dog misses it as much as I do…………
Yep I wish I would have rented a atv to go into the back roads and trails.
I was blessed to be raised in Boulder. I miss home…😢
Love this series. You provide awesome details and random stuff that travel videos often don't do. I'm heading out to Colorado for a week during the summer and will definitely use these as a reference point
You are welcome Benjamin

Great job… We stayed at the Grand lakes area. One of our favorite places to visit. Hope to get back there soon. So beautiful and so much to do. A must see for all.

I go fishing in CO every fall. Boulder and RMNP. Love it out there. Took my family back in June and did Trail Ridge Road.
Fantastic. Thanks 😊
Amazing video! I am delighted , thanks
Amazing video!! Thanks for all the tips!!
Beautiful place!
This is so helpful! I will make a plan to visit all these places.
I love ❤️ your video of my home of Colorado
Thankyou Christina for the nice words.
Wonderful video of such a gorgeous area! Thank you!
Thankyou Jeannified
Another great video, after every one my wife and I talk about planning trips to these places!
Thats great to hear, yea I think this is one you really have to plan a trip to.
We live in South Carolina and are headed out to Denver/Grand Lake area next week. We've never been to this beautiful state, but have been up and down the east coast, eastern and western Caribbean. Thank you for a great and scenic video!! We are so excited to visit this region.
You are welcome Ginger
Stayed In loveland CO the sculpture park was amazing and so was the food!
Well done Sir! well done. Always very informative and fun. Great music that matched the feel of the locations!
Thankyou Mac for the feedback
Thank you for the impressive
video and Bella! 👍👍👍
Thankyou Netti
This is my neighborhood! Now living in Cape Coral, but wow, you really could have done a video of Estes and GL alone. The trip up hwy 34 from Loveland (south of Ft. Collins) is a much nicer drive up to Estes. It would've been worth it to go that way. Boulder is a great city, (its the people who ruined it). Telluride, is stunning! Be sure to go up over Ophir, and Imogene pass for some absolutely breathtaking views. The down side of Black bear pass (from the Telluride side) has bridal Veil falls and is worth the quick trip up that way. You won't be disappointed!
Thanks for the tips, yep I heard that about Hwy 34.
Doesn't look ruined to me lol
@@AceGigalo it is. Hick and polis have really screwed it up.
@@gregz.155 Don't know what Hick and Polis is but I saw a Thai boy toy in booty shorts and a trans Marilyn Monroe with an impressive beard all within my first five minutes... be prepared
Agreed. The best Canyon into Estes is the Big Thompson Canyon. I live in Boulder though so I rarely get the opportunity to travel that way.
You did a great job capturing the outdoor beauty of the area. Grand Lake and Estes Park is a favorite Colorado Rockies escape. I hope your arm is ok as I seen that it was wrapped. Thank you for sharing your trip!
Thankyou, yea the arm is fine, it was from a bike accident in Telluride which will have it on video, will show in 2 weeks. Was mainly trying to keep the scabs from being exposed to the sun.
The scars gotten while mountain biking in a Colorado mountain are a badge of honor. LOL.. Have a couple myself!
Excellent video! We were just there in June. Your video made me want to go back!
thankyou Jan
You did forget the Gem of Estes Park, the Stanley Hotel of Stanley Steamer fame and film site for The Shining (interior only). It's a real treat.
aw, didn't know that, wished I would have featured The Stanley Hotel
Excellent video... Great area... WELL DONE!!
Thankyou for the nice words Greg
I can't believe you missed Overlook Hotel from the Shining! Good video anyway! And from 19:45 to 22:00 I do not understand how anyone can deny God. Thank you!
Thankyou, yep probably should have included that hotel...I agree, "Gods Devine Nature has been clearly seen from that which has been made"
Awesome place and the editing level is super 👌👏👍😍😀
Thankyou Amit
You are talking my language! My son lives in Boulder & other family in Estes Park! We live in VA & looking forward to out next trip!
So cool! Thanks for letting us know
I visited Estes Park a few weeks ago and watched this video to reminisce. This video def captures a lot of the beauty of Colorado! When I go back, will have to check out some of your suggestions!
Thankyou Diane
Great Video ❣️
Really liked the video. There is no way to cover Boulder, Estes and Grand Lake in one 24 minute video, but I think you were able to capture the vibe of each place as well as it could be done.
Thankyou, yep could have easily made it a 3 video series.
Thanks for the info on Estes Park. We will e there in July 2022 for a wedding.
Great place for a wedding very romantic
love your video.
Thankyou for the nice word
Visiting Colorado to travel the state in 2 weeks these videos are the best yet! Any recommendations from locals welcome!!!! Low key spots tourists don’t know about welcome!!
Thankyou for the nice words
Great videos!!!
Thankyou Tiago
Great video with some bold drone flying! Seems like drone flying is legal in Colorado towns. We're going to Glenwood Springs soon and I'll be taking my Air 2s with me.
I use to swim in Eldarado as a kid.
Another great video
Thankyou Gino
Fabulous video! Estes Park and Grand Lake are AMAZING. Though I loved the video, what you can capture on video or photos doesn’t come close to showing the majestic beauty in this part of God’s stunning planet. You stay in a state of ahhhh, don’t you?
Yep I agree with that, you really have to see it in person.
Great video! Love the area and have been there many times before altitude sickness sent me to lower ground. Wish you'd mentioned the Frozen Dead Guy famous in Nederland! Such a story!
yep would have like to spent more time in Nederland
Beautiful country lived there many years many thousands of miles hiked. Too crowded now.
Hey Cuz. Looks like you’re traveling around Colorado. Great video.
Thanks Beverly, yep was, I've been back for a couple of weeks editing. Takes about a week to edit each video and theres going to be 4 videos of Colorado. Great to hear from you. I hope your channel is doing well.
Thanks!
ah, thankyou Marcus, that is very nice of you, I sure appreciate that. Blessings to you
Im a Colorado Native American and Colorado is nic3 but that water is freezing cold lol y'all should come in winter lol December-Abril lol
Scenery was great the music we could’ve done without
Our daughter went to college in Lakewood. Been up there many times and seen a lot of things to do. Wished I would have come across your videos sooner. Apparently we missed a few things. So much to do there.
Hi lived in longmont wow Estes park was just a dinky little place in 1979
Wow
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hello Randy, First of all I hope you are ok with your elbow, I noticed you have a bandage ??? Otherwise, I loved your new video, it is excellent with beautiful music, the architecture is very beautiful. The landscape is magnificent with small chalet, it looks a bit like Switzerland. Take care of you.
Thanks yea its fine was just blocking the scabs from sunlight. Its from a bike accident in Telluride which was on video, you'll see in next video
Pasta Jay's was not great dining but that aside I wanted to mention that the Celestial Seasonings tour is free.
❤❤❤❤
I use to live in Lyons too.
Thats a great hear, good to hear from a former resident
Second video of yours and it's just great!! What's the song at 4:45? that fits perfectly?!!
It is "Wild & Free" by Mike Mains available on The Music Bed.
Does anyone know the Maule's from Grand Lake??? Met them in the Little Apple.
❣❣❣❣❣❣
Thankyou for the love Cherie
Hey I love so many of your Videos. In this Video i like the 2 Songs at the begining. First ist only instrumental when you fly over nederland and the second ist begins at Barkers reservoir.
Please tell me what ist Name of the Songs?
Best wishes from Germany
Thankyou, the first 3 songs are 1. "Waves of Peace" by Life is an Epic Film available on PremiumBeat.com 2. "Open Road" by Analog Heart available on TheMusicBed.com 3. "Wild & Free" by Michael Mains available on TheMusicBead.com
Do a video of the Black Canyon
Wow, fantastic work 💪 I agree, when on vacation, it's nice to try and escape from the constant political nonsense.
Estes Park looks amazing
Lovely video! Whats the songs name in the vid? :)
The song at the end is "High Road" by Upstate available on TheMusicBed.com
Was just up in Nederland last week, you have a choice at the Traffic Circle, continue to the second right, and go to Estes Park via the Peak-to-Peak highway. Or go to Boulder...why??
Peek to Peek Highway is a very scenic hwy. Really good to explore both ways
Will you ever do a video on Niagara Falls or new York state in general?
Already did Niagara Falls in 2015 although it wasn't a narrated video...am considering upstate NY, possibly even this fall, if not at some point we will
Is there a tour ride for the mountains?
Yes there are jeep tours
What are all the song names? I love them
Give me time stamps for about 3 parts and I can give you some of the name. Theres about 12 songs just would take too long to give all the songs.
Can I ask when this video was taken?
The last week of July
