My favorite part of the Fallout 4 game atmosphere was whenever I happened to be caught out in one of these. I can see all that green fog and the lightning everywhere.
@KAIJO47 I loved the bit where you push the analogue stick to the right, and the screen showed me more of the right hand side of the world. Top stuff.
Thanks so much for this especially for managing to get it without the Geiger counter clicking in the background. Sometimes I want to hear that, but other times I don't. This is so relaxing and atmospheric, thank you!
You're so welcome! I'm glad you like the video. I do like the sound of the Geiger counter but for this I just wanted it to be without that constant clicking sound. If you have any other suggestions/requests, please let me know and I'll see what I can do for you.
@@KAIJO47 I'm with Lewis on this. I was just playing 4 and God that thunder and all the ambient sound just made me wanna sleep. I love it and thank you ❤❤❤
I'm on deployment rn and the noises from the airfield in the distance sometimes sound exactly like 1:32. Every time I hear that noise, it reminds me of a radstorm.
Spent over 4,000 hours on fallout 4..helped get me through an extremely ill period of my life.. pop back on from time to time to check everyone in the settlements are still OK 😎 Wish they would prioritise Fallout 5 to release before Elder Scrolls 6 (which I also look forward too)
I hope this means that you are doing better now! I'm sure the settlers are grateful for such a caring leader watching over them 😎 And don't we all microbiusblue? Don't we all. 😔
Not gonna lie, since 76 is basically my first game, I can't remember all the time I encountered it but when I did I went straight back to my camp. Had no idea how it effected enemies so I noped out of any area. Even in FO4 I did the same thing. It's more enjoyable when tucked in the safety of one's camp or shelter.
That's my preferred way of dealing with a radstorm as well! Just chillin at my base safely, enjoying the beauty of it all without the possibility of turning into a ghoul. Thanks for commenting and checking out my video!
I'm sleeping with my closet light on tonight bc I've been freaked out lately,,,and fsr this is really helpful?? I guess bc picturing yourself hunkered up all cozy when it's stormy, plus it's just familiar bc of playing F4, thus, the perfect sleep aid. Thanks, fr
You're welcome! I'm glad one of my videos could help you out in a time of need. I get you though, Fallout is one of my go to games for comfort and feeling better.
Thank you! Glad you like my video. Btw I like your profile pic and your name. I got a kick out of it when I read that I had a comment from Mr Mega Chonks.
Okay, that's genius! because I've always thought about how the sounds in Vault 88 are beautiful. Thanks for the awesome suggestion and I'll get right on that.
@@CriticalSurvival0 I went ahead and set the Vault 88 video to private until I can fix that for you. That Vault 88 audio came from the main big area where you clear the rubble. I see what you mean though and the audio is different at the beginning of the Vault and in the security room where that terminal is at. Is that the audio you're talking about? Or just go ahead and send the audio over to my support email and I'll check it out! kaijoisart@gmail.com
@@CriticalSurvival0 Alright so I'm pretty sure I got the audio you're talking about. I went through the entire Vault just to make sure and made sure to capture all atmospheric audio. That way we can get the entire vibe of the Vault and so I didn't miss your audio suggestion. It's in the process of uploading and should be up soon! It's no problem either, I appreciate you giving me a fun project to work on :D If you have any other requests shoot them my way.
For sure, I can do that for ya! Or if you want something new I can also create one from scratch and make the transition not so noticeable and make it 8 or 9hrs. I can do mostly rain, mostly a radstorm, I can even slap some light rain sounds underneath a radstorm or only have the radstorm at the beginning. There are many choices.
Nothing says chill like a heavily irradiated wasteland filled with giant glowing monsters and the sound of distant explosions.
Is filled the best description? I can't hear any glowing munsters🫡

If only rad storms were as dangerous as emissions from stalker.
Ahh yes the memories in survivalist mode would never forget that day when I died in a rad storm because there was no cover for Miles lmao
This takes you right up memory lane, huh? Been there as well and those rads are no joke sometimes lol
Find a chair to sit in snd wait out the radiation storm.
I've been standing out in the glowing sea for hours enjoying the atmosphere. Thanks for this, now i can enjoy this whenever i want!
no problemo thanks for the comment and like! I do love the glowing sea too. The atmosphere and lighting is very nice and relaxing.
Next thing is you'll turn into a rad spitting ghoul.

The first thing as I got out of the vault in the beginning just after entering sanctuary this happened 😂
Nice! Mine didn’t happen as quick and I was a few hours in before my first radstorm happened. When it did though I was like wooow this is cool lol
@KAIJO47 on one of my saves, the same thing happened. I just played it last night, and had 2 more radstorms, only about 20 minutes apart.

Rain is perfect......doesn't sound like frying 🥓
Can you upload a version with power armor noises in it, footsteps, lights, etc?
Perhaps! Which location has your favorite background ambience?
I think the glowing sea would be suitable for a round of power armor exploration.
Sounds good! I love the glowing sea. I got some ideas in my head and I’ll see what I can do for ya!
