Me too!! " Civilization " sucks. I had an uncle and aunt who had a cabin in southeast Oklahoma in a highly forested region. It was wonderful. It sat high on a hill overlooking a small valley and it had a large covered porch where one could just sit and do nothing but enjoy the absolute quiet and lack of lights. It was a simple, yet well built 2 bedroom hideaway. After my aunt and uncle were gone their children kept it for a while then sold it for a great deal of money. It was A LOT .....too big an offer for them to resist. It's sad. I had many happy weekends there with hunting and fishing just a walk away. And the lack of people was heaven. I wish I could have afforded to buy it, but couldn't come close to the money they were offered.

My own with my grandparents home will stay with me and all the memories of childhood until my mind or my body can't keep up any longer. Hopefully we can both find solace for ourselves in the future.
I agree! EVERYONE loves rain for some stupid reason, but I have never been able to fall asleep. The uneven pattering of the drops drive me crazy and a rain storm will always wake me up from a deep sleep. So it's really refreshing to hear just the wind and thunder. Even videos like sitting by an outside fire has rain. like, seriously????

thank you for this, as I kid I grew up in a city where my apartment was right under a train and all you could hear was the rumbling vibrations of the train and it was quite annoying at first but then it became comforting to hear that noise. Then I moved to a quieter suburban area where there was no noise except for a cricket once in a while. I haven’t been able to sleep so much without the noise but I stumbled across this one night and I’ve been sleeping right through the whole night. Thank you again, hope your life is filled with yellow.

And then, looking down into landscape, shrouded with darkness, cold and damp. Feel the breeze and take a few deep breaths. Now, go inside, lock the doors, all windows shut and lit up the fireplace. Make a hot coffee/tea/coco, lie down on the couch, cover yourself with warm comforter, and blanket on your pet. Turn on TV and watch your favorite nostalgic movie. For me, 1996 Twister.

To be fair, I don’t know who owns the copyrights but I am more inclined trust creators who have footage of their creative process like you do.

Nice. It’s hard to find a good thunderstorm ambiance. This captures the deeper roll after the initial break that so many others just… flattens. To where they sound tinny, or the same without the bass rumble. Hard to describe but without it, the audio just doesn’t sound real. Or the wind or rain are too exaggerated. Going to keep this one!

I used to be scared of thunderstorms as a child. Mostly when they were severe. But it didn’t bother me when they were sooth and very calm like this. Now, I find it very relaxing. Sometimes they can help me rest, work, read or even sleep.
finally subscribing to an audio that auto plays while I sleep tired of waking up to asmr I would never click on but this is perfect not loud enough to go above anything other than a background noise

The upload sounds are not small loops, it eats up the bandwidth. They sacrifice looks to bring better quality/unnoticed loop quality. That said, I'll donate for whatever makes the video match 🎉 the audio.
A moving video might be nice but the sound is more importantly to me. So gonna disagree if video was sacrificed for audio. I like to sleep to storms so not watching it anyway.

It will be quieter, but then the wind won't disappear when the thunder sounds (for example). Then, I just turn my volume up.
