I'm here for the same reason. My therapist suggested guided relaxation videos but that's a bit scary to me. I don't want someone telling me stuff in my sleep. Good rain storm is relaxing. That with 5mgs of xanax a day to be honest

I’ve been listening to this every night for the past 3 months now. I literally cannot sleep without “my rain sounds.” I think it allows my brain to hear the sound and focus on it rather than my thoughts. I’ve noticed my thoughts are too distracting to sleep and this is just so relaxing that I drift off to sleep before an ad even starts. Not that I mind bc I’m passed the hell out anyway.
I usually watch American Dad episodes on auto play to get to sleep for the same reason: I just can’t sleep with my thoughts and having the episodes play I can focus on the character voices instead. I’m trying to sleep the rain and thunder sounds lately though

My husband works out of town around 275 days a year and we both listen to this video each night even though we are 100s or 1000s of miles apart. I suffer from intense insomnia in which medication doesn't help me. Every night around 10pm I'll throw this sound on my TV and let it play the whole night. Not only does it not emmit heat because the screen is black but in just minutes I'm out and truely is peace and serenity. All bodily functions are relaxed and my mind is at ease. My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.
I pray healing and deliverance over you in Jesus name. Depression and anxiety will NOT keep you bound forever. I know because I was taking medication for both for over 20 yrs. This January 2023 the Lord healed me and delivered me and I haven't taken medication since. Some days I still feel anxious but it's not crippling like it is to be. I'm able to deal with it and still function. I'm praying for you because I truly understand.

I’ve been listening to this every night for the past 3 months now. I literally cannot sleep without “my rain sounds.” I think it allows my brain to hear the sound and focus on it rather than my thoughts. I’ve noticed my thoughts are too distracting to sleep and this is just so relaxing that I drift off to sleep before an ad even starts. Not that I mind bc I’m passed the hell out anyway.

I suffer from intense insomnia in which medication doesn't help me. Every night around 10pm I'll throw this sound on my TV and let it play the whole night. Not only does it not emmit heat because the screen is black but in just minutes I'm out and truely is peace and serenity. All bodily functions are relaxed and my mind is at ease. If you are ever feeling like you can't sleep or you're not feeling good and just want to stay calm put this on. Sleep well thunder buddies.

My eyes are literally watering. I do not know how to express it at the moment. I'm not getting enough sleep because of depression and anxiety, listening to it is such a great relief. Sad how we're missing on such simple and beautiful things available in nature.

I pray healing and deliverance over you in Jesus name. Depression and anxiety will NOT keep you bound forever. I know because I was taking medication for both for over 20 yrs. This January 2023 the Lord healed me and delivered me and I haven't taken medication since. Some days I still feel anxious but it's not crippling like it is to be. I'm able to deal with it and still function. I'm praying for you because I truly understand.
