I can't believe people call this "bad weather" or say "it's ugly out there"when it's raining this is the best thing ever. The sounds of the rain drops hitting the ground and the thunder and lightning mixed together, the glossy shine the rain gives everything, the coolness in the air, the smell of everything after? This is the most beautiful weather!

Long answer: there could be a variety of reasons, but my favorite reason to assume is simply because they are good people who want others to feel better reading their comments. If someone feeling down and they read this, they may feel better.

When I was little I used to daydream about being outside in a rainstorm, curled up in a sleeping bag in a big clear tent. Videos like this bring back that feeling of coziness.

Sleeping out in the tent in the backyard in the 70's in the old canvas tent. The rain would start and I would sleep like a baby. To this day I will go to bed and pull that out of my memory bank. Love this.
The sound, the air, the smell. After sleeping in a tent for 5 years, in northern Michigan. Now I have to sleep with 2 windows open in winter. I can't stand the heated, dry , dusty, indoor air.
@@keithlints2514 In my younger years I would sleep outside every summer, I've not slept like that since. I'm a Wisconsinite, love my winters but didn't spend years in a tent in winter but do feel the same about the stagnant air, I sleep with window partially open in winter. If I didn't have to worry about getting shot in my own back yard I probably would break out the tent.

Judy G. Maybe, he doesn’t have one and or can’t afford one. You can’t be so quick to judge guys, it is his decision wether he gets a CD or used an electronic. And if you think about it, most CD’s you put on are on a tv. So he’d be wasting power by using a CD anyways

I love sleeping to this, but it brings back memories from my childhood of scrambling to the car at 2am to hide out from a sudden thunderstorm. Our tent was too small and apparently not waterproof. 😂 I miss those summer camping trips.

I suffer with chronic pain which obviously stops me sleeping but listening to this on my headphones really helps my mind go elsewhere and I usually fall asleep with this still playing. So glad I discovered this thank u 😴😘
i to suffer from chronic pain, and it reeks havoc with my sleep and this does help your mind go elsewhere and if nothing else you cam escape to somewhere in your mind and forget about hurting and get some rest

In Kentucky, land of the persistent mud, we have lots of rain. But only for ten or twenty minutes at a time.

And thoroughly waterproofed. Nothing worse than waking up to find everything you own soaked.
I hate hearing this when camping because then you know that’s it’s gonna be absolutely freezing in the morning and the sides of the tent are gonna be heavily condensates with freezing water drops

I actually experienced this! It was the evening and I was camping and inside my tent when there was a thunderstorm. It was very exciting... It was so windy that the chairs that were outside of the camper near us almost flew into our tent but luckily the owners collected them before that happened.
I was camping on the harricana river just south of James bay when a big storm hit our site at night and it was the most amazing experience
I camped in northern Michigan once, for 5 years. One night there was thunder snow. I slept in a Igloo that winter.

I love to walk in the rain also listening to the wind and rain makes me feel an inner peace but the thunder scares me terribly.i put it down to my mother telling me as a young child that , that was god being angry.

Hi guys ! Well to me these sounds make me feel alive and help me breathing . I’m dealing with anxiety attacts and I can’t sleep at night. So when I’m in desperate I wear my headphones and start listening to this . So after a while it calms me, I stop thinking and I fall asleep ! Thought I’d share with you ✌🏼

I used to have brutal panic attacks, lasting for several hours, sometimes, and I would, irrationally, of course, often think I might be about to have a stroke or die from them. The irony of that is that I had 2 strokes, due to a near fatal stabbing injury, and the panic attacks started awhile afterwards. One of my doctors gave me a list of things to do to fight the attacks, and aside from the slow, deep breaths, what worked best for me was to get away from all humans, turn out the lights, and get music or a movie going that predominantly only had positive associations to me, personally. But that was before any of these videos or the lovely ASMR girls' videos existed. I rarely have the panic attacks, anymore, thank God, but videos such as this are certainly a godsend. Hope you get past your anxiety situation, soon.
I had Seasonal Anxiety disorder for 35 yrs. , I pulled the trigger halfway.
I asked God , what is wrong? He said,
" You need some sun". I went for 1 hr., I felt alot better , the first time. I got TAN, I had no Anxiety or depression , was really outgoing, and could talk to the hottest woman . It was a sport for a while:) There are 5 systems in our bodies that work off the sun, it's like we are part plant.

I spent the first half of the 60's stationed in Germany, of which 5 to 6 months of the year were spent in a tent.
You see I am not unfamiliar with the sound of rain on a tent.
It was relaxing then, and I still find it so!
But my idea of camping now is Holiday Inn.... no more tents....EVER!
I can relate:) l slept in a tent 5 years, l miss the fresh air while l sleep, but my bed was always warm and comfortable:)
