I LOVED my stay at Conrad. Got upgraded to the one bedroom suite by booking a strip view room through Amex FHR and it was the height of luxury. You can also get upgraded to a one bedroom suite by having Hilton Diamond status. Both assuming availability. It's nice to see that they have a fridge in the standard room as well but I would be missing a bathtub if staying in the room that you had. At checkin, when I stayed in January, they told me that I could only use that $25/person hilton gold credit at suns out buns out or the kitchen. But I'm in agreement with you, if the room prices stay reasonable, it will be one of my go-to strip hotels.
@@YellowProductions For clarity, to get the upgrade to a one bedroom suite through Fine Hotels and Resorts, I had to book a strip view room which was $20 more than the standard room. If I had booked the standard room, my upgrade would have been to a strip view, not a suite.
Weird how divided this hotel is. I stayed at the Conrad in December for a convention and did not enjoy my stay. It's beautiful and new, however I was upset with the lack of services and how nickle and dimed everything was. It's owned by a hotel company from Macau, where if you are not familiar with mainland Chinese tendencies, if it's not chained to the wall it will be taken. So as you mentioned, they don't offer individual bathroom soaps etc. and the large bottles are literally affixed to the wall. They did not offer luggage carts or luggage service to Conrad guests that parked in the parking structure since it's such a long walk and they don't want you taking carts through the casino. There's no housekeeping unless you stay longer than 4 days. There's no room service so you have to walk downstairs to their fast casual restaurants or door dash food to your room. I didn't notice any fine dining options, but perhaps I missed it. The only food options off property nearby were a taco or wing place. The pools were not open at the time and they had no jacuzzi available or suites with baths so if you wanted to soak after a long day you have to pay $140 (not including the mandatory 20% gratuity, which was not advertised) and make a reservation just to use the day spa's jacuzzis (I did enjoy the day spa after a long day on my feet though! [$280 total for 3hr use of spa facilities + 1hr massage]). The lack of a desk was an issue for me as well and I had to have my long laptop cable strewn across my room which was a tripping or laptop breaking hazard. You are 3 miles from Caesars Palace area of the strip and 3 miles from Fremont St. so you can't really walk anywhere fun. Some other nitpick things: The phones are automated so you have to go through an endless options menu before you can speak to a live person. The floors are locked off requiring you to swipe your keycard to get to your floor so we couldn't visit friends on other floors unless they came down to the lobby to let each other up to their floor. The slippers seemed like were size 6 men's, I literally couldn't even squeeze my feet (size 11) into them. There's no continental breakfast of any sort, your only option was Sun's Out Buns Out. And lastly, the most egregious for me (half joking) was waking up in the morning only to realize that there was no coffee maker in the suite and I had to trudge down to the Starbucks on the 1st floor clear across the casino to get some caffeine in me!
@@Hintonbro. Eh, not entirely, I do have an update though, so your comment is timely. I re read my comment and still stand by most of what I said, the only error was the bath comment since they do have rooms with baths if you specifically request it. I actually just got back home from another convention last night but this time stayed at TI since it was closer to the event. I will say that the Conrad rooms were heaps and bounds better, TI was just too dingy. I've never experienced allergies before but every time I brought the sheets near my face my nose would seal shut to where I had to go to cvs and buy a bottle of afrin just to sleep the second night. Again, no access to jacuzzi after 6pm (is this just a thing now in LV? Can you not access a jacuzzi at night unless you get a suite with one in it?) No robes at TI, so I have to give credit to Conrad for that. Also there was an iron but no ironing board (Conrad had both). I found myself going back to Resorts World Casino a lot. I really like the craps tables there, TI had no live craps tables. I tried eating at the dumpling place this time in the Resorts World casino and it was really bad. What TI had over Conrad was location and services, what Conrad had over TI was comfort and cleanliness. Both hotels showers were upsetting and barely trickled. Oh huge thing I'm remembering now was the thermostat, Conrad you could dial it in, TI was either freezing cold or off. Lastly, TI didn't have coffee in room either.
Yes. 4.5 stars from me. So many good restaurants in Resort World. Delicious food. A spacious and glamorous casino. My favorite hotel to stay in Las Vegas.
Thanks Chris, for another excellent and entertaining presentation. This one was much more helpful than even you could imagine. This is exactly where we’ll stay during our upcoming Vegas trip.
@@lstruggy Hey thanks for reaching out. You have some great questions. The Conrad is actually a nice section in Resorts World. There are plenty of restaurants and food courts to choose from. We actually paid with Hilton Honors Points so we couldn't give you a price and yes they do offer valet (we did not use rideshare because we took Lyft the whole trip) You can look at a video of our room tour here: ruclips.net/video/fB7kWV2XjFA/видео.html
We stayed at the Conrad at Resorts World last weekend and saw the Luke Bryan Concert there. It was absolutely beautiful and we also said that we would probably stay there whenever we go to Vegas. 4.5, super accurate!
I just stayed at the Hilton at Resorts World two weeks ago and it was great! There's a Walgreens and Tacos el Gordo right across the street. We were there mainly for the convention center west and it was an easy walk.
Thanks for the tour of the Conrad room. I'm heading to Vegas in April and have booked the same room as the one you stayed in. Looking forward to seeing Resorts World for the first time!
@@lstruggy I loved it. Resorts World is now one of my favorite hotels on the Strip. I'm heading back to Vegas in July and will be staying at Resorts World again. This time at the Crockfords.
That looks really nice! It is neat how there are multiple hotels at Resorts World. For a really nice hotel like that, you definitely got a very good deal. Of course, I'm sure it will be much more expensive on weekends or during peak travel times. I like that they offer free parking, but I suspect that they incorporate the parking fees into the resort fee. I definitely would stay there if the rates were quite good!
From what I’ve heard, a decent chunk of that $4.3 Billion was a result of the INCREDIBLY TORTURED construction history of this facility, and includes the costs of not only what’s there now, but the failed original construction of the original Echelon Place complex in 2007-8 (which formed some of the framework they built a few of the buildings from) as well as the costs of tearing down and repairing some of the existing derelict original buildings
Update: The restaurant Marigold at Resorts World closed definitely on December 2, 2021 for no reason whatsoever, this was a restaurant with classic American dishes where lobster was the main ingredient. The Crossroads restaurant and Crossroads Burgers by Tal Ronnen will feature fine dining with plant based ingredients that even carnivores will enjoy and it will open in Spring 2022. Note: Topher is so cute.
My guy!!! I’ve been watching your videos right before I plan a trip to Vegas for the past 4 years. Resorts World will definitely be my next stay in about a week or 2.
I went a week after you did. Almost stayed at Resorts World but went to the Venetian instead because they were suites and the price was identical. Way more food choices and variety at the Venetian as well plus free parking. The parking at Resorts World is shocking far away. I was surprised how few people there were for a new hotel and it looks like they are struggling to fill all the retail space. Yet I agree on your assessment of the hotel and another great video.
Personally didn't care for my stay at Conrad. The pillows were awful, the Chromecast didn't work for me, the resort is too big and felt like a mall instead of a hotel, and the slot machine and table game variety was limited. I did like how its across the street from Walgreens and Tacos el Gordo though. Plus the Uber pickup is super inconvenient!
The Famous Foods marketplace is really good. I had the curry prata and my wife had the Lechón from Pepitas. A little expensive, but worth it. We’ll try to do a hotel stay next time we go there.
Stayed there in December, thinking nice, brand new hotel casino. As mentioned a con is the parking is so far away, had to drag my luggage through the casino looking for the front desk. And worst the part, after my stayed, they kept charging my credit card. Called and they refunded the amount back to my card. Next day it's charged again. This happen 4 times over and over. Spent 1 month fighting these charges. Finally refunded and had to cancel my card. Never again.
I’m surprised to hear you were able to use your Hilton Gold credit for any establishment at Resorts World. During my stay at Conrad in December, I was told it could only be used at Suns Out Buns Out or The Kitchen. 🤷♂️
Hi Chris. Thanks for the hotel review. Hopefully the conventions come back to Vegas.so Resorts World will be able to get the foot traffic over to the property. Take care.
Free self parking is nice even if it is a walk. No problem for me. In college I walked a mile to Michigan Stadium many times because I wanted cheap parking 😂
Dude, Circus Circus was built in the 1970s and considered one of the worst hotels on The Strip. Why would you even compare the 2? Try comparing RS to Encore, Palazzo, Cosmo and they BLOW RS out of the water!
Gambling revenues down? Uhm, more than ever the past three quarters more like. I thought you were a researcher Chris. "For the first 11 months of 2021, Nevada casinos have collected $12.3 billion in gaming revenue, 11.9 percent above the $12 billion collected in 2019. The single-year record for gaming revenue is $12.8 billion, collected in 2007, followed by $12.6 billion in 2006" from the Nevada Independent
Thanks Chris for the review. We are staying in room 52252 on the 52nd floor. Another con for us is no Microwave. We heating our coffee and food up but no show.
There's a Walgreens right in front of Resorts World. I stayed at Crockfords last year, and it doesn't look like luxorious hotel. The only thing I love is the high ceiling.
I still like the Casino Royale Best Western Plus - free parking, no resort fee - 2-minute check-in check out. 1-minute walk and you're on the strip (great location) - free coffee pod machine, fridge, great location. No views out the window but still... The casino itself is a bit of a dump but that has an old time Vegas feel.
Resorts World seems really nice, we usually stay on the southern end of the strip but we have driven up to RW to walk around and explore. One day I'd like to stay here, maybe split my time between this and another property as part of a week-long vacation. I think it's too far north to spend the entire trip here as we often like to eat in/around the NYNY area (which is one of the reasons we often stay further south).
4 and a half star is too high. I say 3 and s half star. The resorts world is new and nice but I suggest stay at the other hotels on the strip and just visit the resort world. The price you paid for the rooms does not justified how the room is like. You paid almost the same for Hilton which is the "ghetto" rooms at resort world. Then you paid more for conrad which is like a normal room looking room with no desk. Or you can pay a suite like price for a normal room for crockford. The room is too pricey for what they offer. The price on food is stupid at resorts world. I do like the variety of Asian cuisine but ofcourse it is own by a Chinese company. I have a feeling resorts world will lose quite a bit of money because the people who stayed there once never wanted to stay their again. Except for Yellow production i guess.
Too bad my mgm play can’t help me. I’d love to stay there. But 4 free nights in a suite at Delano isn’t something I can give up to pay to stay there. Really hope mgm replaces Luxor and Excalibur so we can get some newer places to stay in their system
Not a bad location, a TERRIBLE location !!! We were in Vegas earlier this month, and the place was dead on a Sunday. Its a gorgeous property, but I think people will treat it like the M Resort... one of those places where you check in, and spend the majority of your visit at the property. It might get better when the Tesla tunnel is up and running, but only if the tunnel drops you near a monorail station. Thanks Chris !!!!
@@YellowProductions thank you for the videos and for replying. I'm undecided between the two hotels. Using my hilton points as well. I do like the conrad but being at the end of the strip is what's holding back.
I saw in a video that it's not going so good on bussines with those 3 hotels the whole business so seems it's not at it's full potential that it can offer..
$ 4B+ to build for the Chinese market (with red & gold color scheme), which won't return for years (if ever). People are already whispering "white elephant."
I wont be staying there again. This place is way way over priced and really inconvenient to go anywhere else. they are also planning to charge cover to access the infinity pool. The day club is also very small... comparable to the old tao beach.
Big con of this hotel is no room service. They do have food delivery to your room through GrubHub but the food is not a traditional room service. Food is delivered in a bag, plastic/paper containers and plastic forks, knife and spoons.
I'll review it much quicker. OVER priced with lousy service and pretentious attitude of nearly all staff members. They act like they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there.......

"WOW" that room for under $200 plus food credit....That's really good.... .... .... ....
I thought so!
Is that a city view room ?
How's the strip view , and would it be worth it .
Great vid !
I booked the cheapest room. Hard to say whether they put me in something different
Does each floor have a self serve coin operated washing machine and dryer?
5:05 Good luck getting ANY sleep in those rooms with changing super bright lights all night long.......
I love it. Did a review as well
Chris said gambling revenue has gone down on the strip? Several sources I've seen say it was at a record high.
The pool complex is also the largest of any casino in Las Vegas….@5 acres.
Would you recommend booking through Resorts World or Hilton? I’m a HHonors Gold member.
Hi Linda. Rates were way cheaper thru resorts World when I booked. Then I had them add my Hhonors number upon checkin to get the food credits
Hi Chris, would you please do a kids friendly resorts review video? Thank you 😊
Hi William. Thanks for the suggestion
Why bring children to a Vegas casino resort? Vegas strip ain’t supposed to be kids friendly
Hello, would you recommend this hotel vs Waldorf Astoria?
I think Resorts World is a better hotel. Waldorf Astoria has a better location
@@YellowProductions thank you for the videos and for replying. I'm undecided between the two hotels. Using my hilton points as well. I do like the conrad but being at the end of the strip is what's holding back.
dont forget you can just put your phone on the clock and in wirelessly charges
Thanks for the reminder
I saw in a video that it's not going so good on bussines with those 3 hotels the whole business so seems it's not at it's full potential that it can offer..
Great review. The food and beverage prices are high everywhere.
Thanks JoanneA
Wait, where was the Dance Revolution machine?
It appeared to be gone when we visited last month
@8:20 🤯
Byredo is the brand name, its a luxury brand :)
The worst part of this hotel there parking is too far away from the casino.
💖💖💖
I like your videos, but 95$ a night not a high end, great place great deal but I wouldn’t say high end
Been there - flashy and boring - would not stay there
Its so sterile. It feels like a poorly renovated casino .
i think long term they are going to struggle in that location.
👍
$ 4B+ to build for the Chinese market (with red & gold color scheme), which won't return for years (if ever). People are already whispering "white elephant."
I wont be staying there again. This place is way way over priced and really inconvenient to go anywhere else. they are also planning to charge cover to access the infinity pool. The day club is also very small... comparable to the old tao beach.
It’s a no with no soaking tub.
OMG, I never realized Christopher is 2 person... at least 1 person 1 panda
"Spared no expense"? C'mon...they cut corners anywhere and everywhere they can!
The layout is odd and the design looks sterile. Very airport like.
Cute
Big con of this hotel is no room service. They do have food delivery to your room through GrubHub but the food is not a traditional room service. Food is delivered in a bag, plastic/paper containers and plastic forks, knife and spoons.
Thanks for sharing the room service con
I'll review it much quicker. OVER priced with lousy service and pretentious attitude of nearly all staff members. They act like they are doing you a favor by letting you stay there.......
