Hi Norma. I just traveled to LV and utilized the tram, monorail and deuce bus to get around. I really want to thank you for your videos which helped me know how to get around without walking everywhere. 💕😀
Sayhitomatthew brought me here.. definitely will subscribe! Thanks for the comprehensive transport video! I’ll probably just end up walking to Panda Express! 😊🥰
Yes! That. Also extending toward south of Vegas. Have like a subway system. Serving Goodsprings, Jean, and Prizm Outlets. They can be like part time service. Express parallel on the 15 and you would get a aerial view on the 15.
The deuce used to be fast. We just went 2 weeks ago , and now it is overly packed , I think more stops were added and now takes longer to go from the strip to Freemont st. Also , it doesn't always come every 15min. Sometimes we waited around 45-50min for the next bus. We lost alot of time waiting on the deuce overall
But remember there is the SDX the faster of the two that makes less stops between the strip and downtown . With the deuce also serving the premium outlet malls.
@@sexygeek8996 thanks for info that’s not something I was aware of with being in Scotland and unable to travel to Vegas in 2020 and so far this year due to covid restrictions

And another shortcut of mine you can start at casino Royale and cut through harrahs, linq, flamingo to Cromwell much faster than walking the strip.

A lot of tips are great! I get around w.o a vehicle. There are Tons of shortcuts thru places to cool down and stay out of the heat if you do choose to walk. Very informative!
Been a few times to Vegas use the RTC buses a lot but know the difference between them if u are on the strip and going to Fremont (dtlv) get on the SDX the bendy bus it has less stops and should be quicker than the deuce. If u want to stop on strip at casinos use the deuce. Know your stops not every stop serves both buses either. The monorail while fast at the spine of the strip has a drawback u have to walk thru the casinos to get back onto the strip so while fast a-b and can be great when traffic is busy on strip u could get held up walking through casinos.
Going to Las Vegas from Colorado in 2 weeks and you have the best videos around here so im watching mostly all of them lol, thanks you are doing great! Porfa sigue así no dejes nunca tus videos y si puedes visitar mas lugares y contarlos a tu estilo seria hermoso, me considero fan ahora.
The Las Vegas monorail brings the MGM in reach of the convention center. Treasure Island - Mirage monorail is great to avoid the heat to transport between properties. The ARIA express to get from Bellagio, Crystals, and Aria, to enjoy Eatly at Park MGM. The Excalibur, Mandalay Bay, and Luxor monorails, help avoid to the heat and minimizes walking to Mandalay Bay. They are free but can be closed at the most convenient time like Sunday and Holidays, you will still do alot of walking.
Bloopers are the best! All the best modes of transportation that Vegas has to offer is awesome. I've done the Deuce, it has the best a/c ever & is super clean!! I've done the monorail and tram. My new adventure will be the Loop!
My plan as an aspiring future local was to avoid the Strip especially since some of these videos tell me how the parking situation is NYC level but even as a non gambler, it looks like there are some cool spots to visit on occasion, not to mention if I was visiting friends in town, so it looks like the best strategy would be to drive to a bus depot (or better yet just take an Uber or Lyft to the bus depot...or walk I guess if ultimately get a place within waling distance since I do want to live near UNLV and I'm sure there's a bus depot near there) and then ride to the Strip or Downtown (which I might do just to do my pizza tour) and take the downtown loop or the monorail. I clocked some time on the bus in Las Vegas over the Summer a few years ago and for what it's worth, it is better than the bus in Reno, which is not a high standard but.... The point is, I'm not a big drinker either, but in case I did have any adult beverages, I think this strategy would be the most responsible way to go too, not to mention just avoiding the headache of parking in a big city. Whenever I visit San Francisco, I take the BART from Concord, or Oakland and I wish I had done something like that and taken the Subway when I was in NYC. Driving & parking in that city is insane! Thank you for another great video!
After our 1st trip to LV we Always rented a car as we got around a Lot. From the strip to the Stratosphere and Downtown or South to South Point and the M. We would go West to The Orleans or way out to Red Rock. We would also hit the Palms, Rio and Gold Coast casinos. Palace Station was another favorite. East we would go to Green Valley Ranch and way out to the Wild West casino. I drove all over the place out there No Problem!

Thanks for your awesome vids and for Vessi!! Just ordered a pair and can't wait. The Deuce is hilarious at night but can get super packed with the driver having to constantly yell at people to not go up the down stairs, and vice versa which is funny when it's tourists who don't have a great grasp of English..but it's a great way to get from the Strip to Fremont. Have ridden it often over the years.
I love the way it smells when it rains in the desert. Thank you for the heads up on the ways to get around Vegas without a car Norma and camera person. Those shoes are going to get Norma into trouble jumping into all the puddles and splashing people lol
The city bus is a way to get down tropicana from the tropicana/Oyo Hotels to the UNLV Thomas and Mack center. One way is about $2. Also, shorts with sandals or flip flops are good to wear when it rains.
I learned the bus routes, and if you are a senior, you can get a day pass at a discount. I just got on different buses to the end of the line, and I learned how to get to and from the airport. I lived at Sienna Suites on 6555 Boulder Hwy. Thank you.

I use the Deuce a lot. Also the free trams on the west of the strip. Never the monorail. Not because I’m tight, but invariably because it’s on the “wrong” side of the Strip, as you said yourself, it’s a long walk from a monorail station to some of the properties on the west side of the strip. Not looked at the Loop before, I’ll be sure to check it out on my next visit.
Thanks for the video. I’ll be out in Vegas in a few months and I plan to take every and all necessary modes of public transportation as opposed to my brother who’ll be traveling with me but who’s choosing to rent a car and drive everywhere, but with rental and parking costs, it seems like the Monorail, the deuce and the trams are the more economical way to go.

Going in three weeks, first time not renting a car. Cost of gas and parking getting to much. It was good when parking was free . Did not know about the free loop so thanks for that.
If you ever want to travel to Green Valley Ranch Casino and do not have a car, you can catch a GVR shuttle from Mandalay Bay. Its a beautiful casino and right next door to a great BBQ restaurant called Lucilles.
I been to vegas twice only place I didn't rent a car. I took a uber from the airport to where I was staying since I was out there for the sema show I coulda taken the monorail but they offer shuttle buses from whatever strip hotels they were to the show or aapex pretty much most big trade shows in town
The Monorail is awesome, I wish I would have watched your video two weeks ago. I luv public transportation in vegas due to the excess walking that you might be prone to doing. Next time I go i will definetley use the LOOP Downtown! thanks!
Downtown loop from Fremont Street to Strat is free. Took it yesterday. 109 or 108 Bus from the Airport to Downtown is $2. 206 bus from DTLV to RedRock Casino. Bus driver said you can use the local pass for the Deuce bus to save money. Bus ticket to Los Angeles is $22 from Downtown Las Vegas. I've walked from Fremont to the Cosmopolitan but that was in February when it's cool and comfortable.
Hi Norma, I have an upcoming trip to Vegas and have been enjoying your videos. Lots of good info. I have a question for you if you could possibly help me out. I am coming to Vegas in April to see BTS at Allegiant Stadium. I do not plan on renting a car and will be staying at a hotel a few blocks off the strip and definitely not within walking distance to the stadium. I did see that there are special shuttles for Raider games, however, this will be a different event. What form of public transportation will get me the closest to Allegiant Stadium?
My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary next week in Vegas. We are stoked for the monorail to be open again, and have taken the deuce before. We are staying at the D the last night, so we will get an opportunity to check out the Loop. Thank you for all of your helpful information. We love your videos!
you don't need to drive your own car to vegas or rent a car after you fly, taking the bus, or a train to vegas. you can take their tram, if your at the Tahiti villige or other time share they have shuttle bus you can use, you can use lift, Monorails, or the subway system calls the loop.
Good useful tips on getting around. The only drawback of the monorlal is some of the places where you get off are quite inconvenient. You have quite a walk from the back of these casinos. Some stops, though, are very good - especially at the Westgate which is a bit off-strip but convenient to get to via the monorail. Just my 2 cents. Great video Norma!
I've never been but me and my husband are going in 10 days lol I'm counting down but ty for your videos so helpful we from sulphur Louisiana excited to go ty
Great ideas….last several times, I’ve taken the City Bus FROM the airport, connected to the Deuce at the South terminal, and gotten to my hotels faster than when I used to rent cars. With the rideshare prices and delays, your ideas are very helpful. When I’ve gone Back to the airport, I’ve taken the Deuce to Gillespie gotten off and hopped on the RentACar center bus. Thanks for your great video.
Great tips in the video. October 2021: just spent a week in Vegas. Stayed @ Circa on Freemont and toured the strip a couple days. The Deuce was the way to go, cost is still $8 / 24hr for non-residents. Construction on the strip is pretty much done for now, but there was construction downtown that caused a couple stops to close with detours that are not noted in the app. The folks at RTC call center didn't seem to have a clue either which stops were active and which not. Freemont @ 4th *IS* active Northbound. More of the Southbound stops are closed around Freemont, but it's just fine to hop a Northbound bus and jump on the next bus ahead at The Mob Museum if your driver takes a break (they will tell you). Due to labor shortage, The Deuce busses are running about every 30 or so minutes, but sometimes arrive in clumps (2 at a time) then nothing for 45+ minutes. Between downtown and the airport, Uber was the way to go for us (about $30 each way before tip, but prices varied dynamically real time by the minute between about $25-$40 depending on time of day and user demand).
Norma, Loved the Vegas transportation video. You’re funny, beautiful, intelligent, and lots of chrisma. Keep up the good work. Enjoyed the video. It’s going to help me when I take a visit to Vegas. What’s your next video on?

Getting around the Strip/Downtown areas in Las Vegas is becoming more of a hassle, unless you want to pay/tip for valet. Even if you drive to their parking lots, it's still a walk to the casino areas, plus more casinos are charging for parking. For the past few years, I just get a daily bus pass and leave the driving headaches for others. Great video! Thanks Norma.
Norma sweet one you forgot that if you are a senior , go to the stop just off the downtown one at the main station and get the RTC reduced fare I.D. and everything id 1/2 price , 3 day pass is $10.00. I cannot think that you eat so much and stay so THIN !
I visited Las Vegas NV last month for a family members wedding. Great city, not enough time. I had my own personal vehicle. I will visit Vegas again however the drive is very long more time must be allotted to drive across country.
Great info Norma. Have tried all these except the Downtown Loop. Never heard of it. That is one I plan to try next time to hit the Outlet and Arts District.
The buses worked well. Also, walking was good. They just started to build the monorail when I lived there. It went from Bally's to MGM then to The Hilton on Paradise Rd.

I really appreciate all of your hard work and thoughtfulness that goes into each video. ❤
LoL Norma, they put you on the Short bus...j/k...i like the Vessi shoes...i will check out the Mens size...have a good week
The Monorail is awesome, I wish I would have watched your video two weeks ago. I luv public transportation in vegas due to the excess walking that you might be prone to doing. Next time I go i will definetley use the LOOP Downtown! thanks!
Hope you like it :)
The official rule is that only locals can use the local pass on the Deuce, but they never check.
Yes, the Excalibur tram only stops at Mandalay Bay on the southbound trip. Luxor is only going north.
They have 2 trams but one of them wasn't working
And exactly a year later and the monsoon that hit Vegas yesterday was nuts! Haha...hope you made a vid on it. :)
Love the bloopers at the end!! Great Norma too cute!
My husband and I love your vegas videos, thanks!
Great video on how to get around. If you don't like rain never come to the Pacific Northwest in the winter time.
You missed the most important bus, the CX, from the airport to downtown...
Great video Norma!
thanks I have learned a lot watching your videos. coming to Vegas next week
Oh Yeahhh this is what i be doing. I JUST LOOKED AT MY WRIST I GOT TIME TODAY. TO STROLL and wait for all these helpful transportation options
there she is!!!. was waiting for the next one... forwarding it to my boss for his friends.
thanks for sharing it :)
So useful. Thank you Norma, you rock. Great shoes!
I live in Las Vegas and I do that when I travel. It avoids expensive airport parking and unreliable taxi service away from the strip.
how long did it take you to get from airport to strip and also how long to get back to airport from the strip?
@@etawny1 45 min.
Norma is the cutest most adorable person on RUclips, and smart too! Keep it up Norma, your parents must be very proud of you
Im going to park at TI (free) and stay at Mirage. Using the Tram
Thanks for this info! I won’t be there anytime soon, but it’s nice to see peeps relaying this important stuff!
CHULA😘 watched your vid collab with ActionKid and u were great! Sending love from New York all day long!!
Norma, Loved the Vegas transportation video. You’re funny, beautiful, intelligent, and lots of chrisma. Keep up the good work. Enjoyed the video. It’s going to help me when I take a visit to Vegas. What’s your next video on?
To Norma G.:)From ObieJuan(: I've liked Ur infotainment videos on Vegas for a long time so I decided to subscribe (Lucky U). They were very helpful on my last adventure to LV when it came to eating choices. It looks like my next trip I will be trying the Deuce and the Loop thanks to U! Did U Know the easiest way to get from point A to point B is a straight LINE! The trams look like a long walk to save very little steps. As always "Live Long And Hit A Progressive!" ObieJuanKaNoBee...
This is very true ObieJuan :) walking is faster sometimes
VERY informative ! Thank you Norma !
Love the video super tons of info but my buddy is in a wheelchair can u scoop out the Handicapped stuff as well just a suggestion..keep up the great content 😁
New to your channel, I’ve been there like three times: I’m glad you show us through Vegas !!!!
Headed to Vegas soon and the information in this video is fabulous!!! Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
I visited Las Vegas NV last month for a family members wedding. Great city, not enough time. I had my own personal vehicle. I will visit Vegas again however the drive is very long more time must be allotted to drive across country.
Great job ladies. Im moving there in October 2021.
I usually like to walk the Strip, but when it is hot (like my trip a few weeks ago), the Monorail is a life-saver. I usually buy a 2 -day pass.
Great info Norma. Have tried all these except the Downtown Loop. Never heard of it. That is one I plan to try next time to hit the Outlet and Arts District.
Please do! :)
Norma thank you thank you thank you for all the comprehensive videos about LV.... extremely helpful
The buses worked well. Also, walking was good. They just started to build the monorail when I lived there. It went from Bally's to MGM then to The Hilton on Paradise Rd.
