There is another free thing, one of the biggest. Walking along the Strip and admiring the architecture. That and people watching; that’s a free show unto itself.
Whenever I'm in Las Vegas I go to the Pinball Hall of Fame. It's right next to the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign. They have a huge collection of pinball machines and 70s/80s arcade games going back many decades. It's free to get in and only 25 cents to play some pinball machines you haven't seen since the 1950s.
Out of all the times I've been to Vegas, I have never been to Hoover Dam. I didn't know it was free to park and look around. It looks amazing, so now it's on my must see list for next trip. I always learn something exciting and new from you and your videos, so I always look forward to watching the new ones. Great job Norma!! 🌠
I was just there last week. I took a tour with MaxTour. They pick you up at the hotel and drive you to Hoover Dam. You get to walk on top and see it on the inside, as well as walk on the bridge overlooking the dam. It's definitely worth it!
Just went last year, been going to Vegas since the mid 90s. Now, there a few times a month... Big engineering fan. Love wonders of the world... Didn't prepare me for the experience. It absolutely blew my mind. Guided tour showed us things I didn't thing We'd be able to see. Definitely go people!
@@DavidS22003 I drive down from Northern California, so I've never had to drive through that area when going to Las Vegas. I have seen the dam from a boat on Lake Mead, but never up close in the tourist area.
YAAY!!! My hubby and I are booked for Sunday Sept 17-Fri Sept 22nd at the MGM Grand for our 10 yr Anniversary!! We are both in our later 40’s and are looking to not break the bank but still have a Blast!! This and ALL of your videos I’ve watched so far have helped us so much!!!❤🎉😊🌟🎊 I’ve never been before and my hubby hasn’t been since 2008! So I’m sure things have changed!! Love your channel so much!!! THANK YOU!!!😊❤💯👍🌟🎊
Oh really? My girlfriend and I are going to Vegas on September 13th through the 15th, just before you do. We are going to the Strat because she works at a sister casino in another city in Nevada so she can get us a slight discounted stay. The room we had 4 years ago was good enough, clean, nice view, and we can use the saved money on other things. I highly recommend you two see that water fountain event outside Bellagio. I am positive you will enjoy it, seems romantic. It isn’t very long. Would make a good photo too.
Dear Norma Geli, I just watched your "What's Free in Las Vegas" video on RUclips and I have to say, it was so informative and helpful! As a budget traveler, I'm always looking for ways to save money and your video has given me so many ideas on free things to do in Las Vegas. Your thoroughness in explaining each activity and providing helpful tips was really appreciated. I especially loved your suggestion of checking out the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. I had no idea that it was free and it looks absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. Your videos always offer such valuable insights and I can't wait to see what you have in store next. Sincerely, Dust
Last year was the first time I've ever been but learning the tram and loop were the best thing ever. I make sure to tell friends to research them all prior to going.
Years ago I went to the Ethel M Chocolate factory and cactus garden. They had a self guided walk through of their operation and a free sample of their chocolate. They also have paid classes, etc. Warning; after viewing them making all that wonderful chocolate goodness, you will be tempted to shell out some $$ and buy some to take home. Also, in addition to the free trams you mentioned, some of the resorts have a free shuttle to go between their properties. Trump hotel has a free shuttle which will take you to Wynn or Caesar's. Tip your driver.
I'll be going to Vegas in October for Twitchcon, I've been watching your videos and they've actually really helped me, from the speakeasy's to what restaurants to eat at! Also, Go Knights Go! Lets bring home the cup!
The weird cool thrift shops and old shops in naked city are fun. The area is not nearly as bad as some claim. Many breweries around there also. There are some old boxing gyms there with nice murals.
Here's a few more... The Flamingo Wildlife Habitat, Fremont St. Experience Show plus free concerts. Also The Mirage Volcano 🌋 until it stops erupting 😢
Norma: Not sure what the code word from this week's livestream was, since I couldn't watch it this week (my guess is it's not napkins). That said, thanks for another informative video. Glad you got to see the Hoover Dam (my family took the "dam tour" on a previous trip to Vegas in 2007). Keep doing what you're doing!!
Another free thing to do, is the Historic Railroad Tunnel Hiking Trail, best to be done from October to early April. The hiking trail goes all the way to Hoover Dam and is about 5 miles one way. Definitely worth doing. If you are a little more adventurous, there is the Arizona Hot Springs Trail (closed now till late September) and is just over 4 miles south of the Hoover Dam on US 93. There is an actual hot spring not to far from the Colorado River. The ladder going up to the hot spring may be a little challenging (if you take one of the two routes to the hot spring).
We love you Norma. Hope you had an amazing birthday. You look so amazing you put those showgirls on the strip to shame. You are the true beauty of Vegas 😊
Awesome Norma! No free samples from the chocolate fountain? I remember my first visit to Las Vegas 20+ years ago, the small, old school and still there Casino Royale proudly touted on a sign "Free Drink!", plus there was a recording announcing to come in and get your free drink. You walked in through the door right there and went to the little bar, where they gave you a small frozen strawberry or lemon daquiri, or a bottle of beer. It was good It was great, sometimes you had to wait a little while, because free things attract large crowds. Then a year later or so, it was $1. Then a couple years later, no more! I don't know how these old school places survive on the Strip among the mega-resorts but I guess they do.
The Haus of Gaga Las Vegas is free and inside of Park MGM. It is cool because it has Lady Gaga's different outfits including the meat dress that she wore.
Great videos. My wife and I follow and watch your videos weekly. We actually use many of your tips. We went to see the chocolate fountain and all the chocolate was on the ground😂. I sent pictures to your IG. So to your point I don't think it's edible anymore lol
Hello, Norma! What a GREAT video, although I don't know if I could leave my wallet at home. I know I'm gonna want a drink or some food at some point, plus I would just feel weird without it. Praying Mantis and the Hoover Dam look really cool, though. I have family out in Vegas, so I plan to make a trip out there eventually. Love your channel! You have a bubbly personality and are VERY pretty! 😃 ❤🌆
Video idea for you. 3DRetro is opening a shop in Vegas. So maybe you do a best places to shop for collectibles in Vegas. Or unique places to shop. Just an idea.
Hi Norma! Maybe I didn't pay close enough attention but I think you missed the #1 free thing to to in Las Vegas! People watching! You're never going to see such a parade of interesting people anywhere but Vegas! I think I'm the normal one but probably not!😂
Norma, if you really want to make a splash, do a video (not with me) about how much money you can save one of your fans about meeting them and getting them into budget resorts and the best values or a 3 day, 5 day ,etc and their Vegas dream.
Excellent video, Norma. There were several things you brought up that I didn't know about. Did you ever see James Turrell’s “Akhob” light show in the Louis Vuitton store at the Shops at Crystals? It was free but you had to make a reservation. I think it closed permanently during COVID.
You nailed it Norma! Years ago I won a free 2 🌉 nights at the Bellagio! It was awesome 😎! Also do they still have the free Concerts on the Fremont Street Experience on Monday nights? I caught a great 90's Tribute Band and they rocked Vanilla ice 🍨 as well as other great 90'sgroups! Outtakes are funny AF! Keep em coming!
Hey, love your vids! Is there a place with live music that plays ONLY OLD music. Like, classic jazz or anything? Maybe a piano bar? Like, not radio pop/rock, etc? I just feel like the vibe in Las Vegas should be 50s/60s jazz/Italian and 80s. Lol!
May seem odd , but when in parking garages take the time to look at all the views as you drive around the levels ... Some garages allow you to see things and perspectives you can't get any where else... For instance , top of Resort Worlds free parking has a breath taking view of the surrounding area ...*** Go Team Norma !!!
Aloha Norma, Thank you very much for all of your wonderful videos. My wife and I have experienced many things in Las Vegas through out of years of visiting but I keep learning more things through your videos. Question. Is the parking lot behind the Linq Promenade (High Roller) still free of charge? I remember parking there when the High Roller first opened. We got to the lot through what was once Aubrey Lane and exited through Koval Ln. Mahalo!
Too bad your live last night was cut off, but you guys did give us almost three hours, so I loved it, and I loved seeing the Stranger Things popup 🙂 You looked beautiful and youthful with jovial exuberance in this video, as you always do! I will have to check out the hoover dam at some point if there is a bus that goes out there! When the camera panned down I got that tinge of acrophobia in my gut! 😲I have only been out to Vegas a couple times, for concerts, but loved it 🙂

Architecture? Lol most casinos look dirty and ugly from outside. You should visit the UAE or Macau
@@lasvegassmoke4866 once you realize there are casinos more older than others, you appreciate them for what they were during the time they were built

I like the balcony seating with a view of the Venetian Gondola Canals at Le Macaron. That is a free attraction.
