I’m from Germany and I have been to Las Vegas 2023. in preparation for that trip I came across your videos and tried to understand how slot machines work, and actually made 400 dollars out of 100 dollars on my first time every playing in Las Vegas 😬 until this day I still tell everyone how happy that made me. I fell in love with Las Vegas, but since we are not planing a trip back to the US any time soon, I’m watching your videos nearly every day. It kind of became an obsession and it just makes me really happy and I love watching all the updates regarding Las Vegas. Thank you very much for all the effort, sending love from Germany ❤

You're going to be very disappointed by the Pawn Stars place. It's nothing like you see in the TV show. It's essentially a curio and gift shop now and has been for years.

Ocean One had become something of a Vegas institution.. the food was mediocre (at best) but the drink deals were among the best in Vegas, they became a staple, i would always stop there for a couple of drinks before a concert at Zappos. They were always busy, and often had lines out the door. Crazy that it's gone.
We were there weekend before last, and got a reservation for Caramello. Apparently, they were/are doing a soft opening, and it’s a great place. Decor is cool and funky, the food was really good (we split a Filet medium rare that was just over-cooked; they offered to re-do, we refused (I swapped pieces with my wife, and she was happier); and the cheesecake is huge, delicious, and beautiful!
Hey Ruby!! 🙂 Lots of good stuff in this video! I'm really BUMMED by something you didn't cover though, and people SHOULD know about it! Whenever I visit LV, I always stay downtown. I LOVE it there! I don't know - the Strip's just gotten too BOUGIE for my taste. It's pretty, but downtown? THAT'S where the FUN is! Anyway, I have a friend who's a musician in one of the many wonderful bands that play weekly at the Fremont Street Experience. She texted me this week to let me know that her band's last show will be on December 30. Their contract wasn't renewed. Neither were those of almost ALL of the live bands that play for the FSE. It seems that the FSE is replacing almost ALL of them with DJ setups. This is TRAGIC!! The DJ stages already draw the smallest crowds on Fremont. No more great bands like Alter Ego, Atomic Radio, Stays in Vegas, and others playing the FSE is almost CRIMINAL. I've looked at the FSE's website, and she's right. You also mentioned the sale of the Downtown Grand. I say good riddance to them!! They have properties in New York and Los Angeles that are almost SLUMS. My concern about this sale is how it will affect the existence off the Hogs & Heifers Saloon (Maybe my favorite place in the WORLD). The DG owns H&H's land. There's been really bad blood between H&H and the DG in the past, and I really PRAY that H&H will come out of this sale intact! I'll be back in LV starting January 5th. I'd love to happen to run into you Ruby! I LOVE your channel!!
The indoor walkway from Vdara to Cosmo is clutch. I plan to stay at Vdara more often now that you can get to the Cosmo or Aria casino in like 5 mins from your room…

The absurd food prices and super tight slots do not justify the room comps. MGM’s tier credit expiration policy of 12 midnight on Dec 31st finally did it and we’re looking for off strip recommendations. Any recommendations for Dec 2025?
Gamble be staying at the Cosmo we all really miss the good buffets. We enjoyed the Orleans the most we used to go to Green Valley Ranch, and have breakfast and gamble a little bit they done away with their buffet so we quit going. It wasn’t the best buffet, but it gave us something to do now they’re pretty much destroying all the good shows we like to be the love was great along with Mark Savar the hypnotist that was at Planet Hollywood. He was so funny and it was reasonable. We seen them all even Anthony cool he was pretty good also. I believe Anthony still lives in Vegas, hoping to get put back on the payroll someplace.
Flamingo needs to work on those rooms before they fix up the pool. I stayed there in November in a room they advertised as "renovated" and no. Just no.
The end of January (2025) is when "Vegas V" (my fifth visit to Las Vegas) would have occurred. Unfortunately, I'm recovering from patella fracture (kneecap) surgery after I suffered a very unfortunate trip & fall accident on a concrete floor at work back in September. I'm currently undergoing physical therapy, but will have to postpone "Vegas V" until I am FULLY recovered, which may take a few more months.

2:18 the west tower rooms aka Studio Tower the former West Wing were renovated over two years ago.
Some of my least favorite rooms in all of vegas - right on the casino floor and the MGM has this weird musty smell all over
