Just wanted to say that I absolutely love the format of your hotel reviews. The full and detailed tour (I love details), followed by the pros and cons. They are extremely helpful! Keep up the great work!
I've seen more than 10 Circa reviews... man, THIS one is the best one (and it made my decision easier for my next trip to Vegas: I am staying at Circa). Honest, all the details you wonder... Thanks Chris again. I'll be taking my shampoo and conditioner with me thou, I really hate those shampoo dispensers...
Thanks for the great review, Chris. It’s been my experience that in general (considering all the pros and cons) you get a much bigger bang for your money in downtown Las Vegas than on the strip. And for those who are into gambling, downtown casinos offer better overall odds, as well.
@@mermaidsexist4339 I agree. Downtown is the place for the moe serious and sophisticated gamblers who don’t want to be ripped off by the glitzy casinos on the strip.
@@YellowProductions Thanks Chris, for your wonderful and insightful review, as always. And you’re absolutely right about the security guards’ attitudes; it wouldn’t kill them to be a little more courteous!
I think an unstated goal of the id check is to help discourage certain folks from entering at all. Let’s them say they’re only worried about keeping it 21 and up but accomplish a second task at the same time
I noticed that too. It could be a form of elitism where the young, good looking, fashionably dressed, aren't checked for I.D. but others, who they really don't want inside are stopped and checked. This could be a sneaky version of discrimination. Worth investigating.
I think it’s more racist to assume someone that isn’t white wouldn’t have a simple ID. Assuming race is what you’re talking about. Anyone can get a simple ID, maybe not a driver’s license but a simple ID for sure.
Another great video Mr. Chris. You made some really great points when you did the Pro's and Con's. I am impresses how many videos you got out of your short long weekend in Vegas. lol Speaking of which........hope you and your family have a relaxing weekend.

Just stayed at Circa last week and I really loved it. Had a great time all around and I’ll def stay again. I had a double king room and there was a handheld in the shower and the shower was bigger (long). The bed was very comfortable and the gaming was fun. I didn’t book circa at first cause it was crazy price but as my trip got closer the price went down by almost half so I went with it. Glad I did. I love the design and the colors and the room key holder was so cutely designed. We are at the BBQ truck outside and it was really good. Good vibes.
Glad to know I'm not the only who is worried about common soaps/etc being tampered with! Thank you for the super informative review Chris! Circa looks like a nice place to stay in Vegas off the strip
Hi Chris. Thanks you for the Circa tour. The property is very beautiful but pricey for the Downtown area, The room is very nice and laid out well. Love that view from your room. I guess the security staff are probably tired of checking ID's as much as people showing them. Thanks again and take care.
I visited Vegas last week and while I didn't stay at the Circa, I did go to the Legacy Club Lounge on the 60th floor which had a fantastic view. I reserved an outdoor table for 6 which didn't cost me anything but there was a $150 ($25 per person) spending minimum which we easily exceeded. 😂 Overall a fun spot to visit with some great drinks and a fantastic view.
Just got back from staying at The Flamingo in Vegas! Was like 2 years since I have been back! Was fun! Stayed from Monday-Friday which was a hell lot cheaper than during the weekend!
Just returned from Vegas yesterday, stayed at Caesars Palace, would never stay there again. Had a penthouse suite, no water or coffee machine which should be basic! I found the strip a soulless money harnessing hell. Went downtown on the last day, and loved it, only downtown from now on, Authentic Vegas, with reasonable prices and great energy!
Just got back after a few days at Circa. Some observations. 1. The food, while expensive was good to great at every restaurant (with good service). 2. Room was very nice as your video showed, with a great bathroom and a very comfortable bed. 3. Once you walk through the property a single time, it becomes extremely easy to go anywhere and feels well-designed. You mentioned "compact" which is a great description. 4. Noise was out of control, and this was during the week from a room on the 38th floor. I don't expect peace and quiet downtown but the music takes over the room from 10am to 1am every day. The tip I received at the front desk was to ask for the mountain side away from the pool so I'll try that next time. The ID checking felt unnecessary but didn't bother me.
Just got back from Circa (mid June 2024) - the rooms that face Stadium Swim are loud, starting around 8AM until 11PM. If you don’t like the thumping bass, I highly suggest a Mountain View room. FWIW - I was on the 37th floor.
That hotel looks really nice! I can see a pro and a con to having the hotel be only 21+ with the pro being the fact that you won't have to hear kids playing, jumping, or shouting in the hallway or near your room with the con being the constant ID checks at the entrance as you noted. However, I feel that the sounds from the street especially from Fremont Street pretty much replace the sound of kids. At least the fan was loud enough to filter out the noise!
Hi Chris! I loved your review. I visited the Sportsbook back in September and toured the Casino. Vegas Vickie is the coolest! Anyway, the old Vegas vibe like the lights in the circular drive remind me of old Vegas! Having said that, the reason I didn't book the hotel is because the rooms are tooooooo expensive, and at the end of the day I am a Strip Girl, not a Freemont Street Girl. Thank you for your on point review. Stay safe and healthy out there. CAB😊
Great review! Totally valid points from what I've experienced at Circa - I think it'll be my next stay off-strip when I visit. Also want to shout out Saginaw's which had excellent Jewish deli food - bit pricy but as someone with a huge appetite I could only finish half so at least it's a good portion.
what's up Chris. I moved town, I live in Madrid, and my life has changed a lot over the last month. Anyway, I now have some stability and can watch your videos again 😁😁😁
Circa is great but for what they are charging for room rates right now with it being new still and kind of a hot spot I would recommend staying at the Plaza next door and spending your time at Circa. I mean...it is literally next door and I don't mean like on the Strip where you still have to walk for 10-15 minutes to the next property. That is my recommendation if you are on a budget and want to be downtown. It's very easy to spend your time at Circa and then stumble home to the Plaza for 1/4 the price of the room.
The scanning of your ID, one wonders what data that they retain. Checking to varify age is one thing, retaining personal data is another. For that, four Tofers is a good rating.
We visited the Circa this past Monday. It's a beautiful property with a great slot selection. However, on a weekday, at noon, it was deafiningly loud, with thumpa-thumpa bass hip-hop alternating with less repulsive music. I'm noise-sensitive, and even with heavy-duty earplugs, I couldn't last more than 45 minutes.
Did the prices you mentioned for Circa, Virgin and Resorts World include the resort fees? If so then $200 total isn’t terrible but either way it definitely doesn’t compare to the price Resorts World had. Also recommendation for a review: how about Sahara? It’s cheap but pretty nice from what I’ve heard
Not only is the music on the casino floor way too loud, to the point where after a few hours I feel I just have to get away from it, but for the life of me I wouldn't be able to tell you the name of an artist or song in a month of listening to it. It's some kind of syntho pop meets Debbie Lavato teenage girl dance music from hell with nary a guitar riff in any of it. In others, it's not for me and I don't think the casino Circa even really wants me in there to begin with. It's for the twenty/thirty year old set. Did I mention the music's too loud.
Before watching i sm wondering: Is this an ordinary review of the ultimate hotel, or the ultimate review of an ordinary hotel? I suppose I will find out...

I must say, I sort of agree with you. I gave up 4 free nights at The California to "splurge" on Circa. I wouldn't say it's the worst hotel but I definitely would not stay again. It's SUPER overpriced. FIASCO checking in, my key didn't work and I had to go back to check-in 3 times while the other member of my party literally stood in the hallway outside the room with all of our luggage. Not a good first impression. Returned to the room every evening to find it had not been serviced, despite having their fancy little service light on. I don't agree with you that the food is horrible. I thought the food was very good however also VERY overpriced. I will definitely be going back to my comped room at The Cal.

For guests, instead of showing ID all the time, maybe a place to scan their room key upon entering like the Venetian has on their floors.
