great video. i have been going to fremont for over 25 years. staying at the D, golden gate , and the plaza, mostly. you covered it well. the golden nugget has a big aquarium. its very nice. u can sit at the bar in front of it. have a drink, and enjoy the animals of the water. Fremont is my favorite place to stay. i have stayed at ceasars, and other on the strip. fremont has it all, in about a half a mile........ attractions, eating, shows, gaming, shopping, etc........ 100s of places to go, all with in walking distance. the pizza at pop up pizza inside the plaza is good also...
Our home away from home is the El Cortez. We've been going there since late 90's. We prefer the downtown area n seldom go to the Strip. We go into the community like China Town. R

My sister and I stayed at the Four Queens there, mainly because it was cheaper and there was no resort fee, and we genuinely _loved_ the spot. While not as huge as the Strip, it’s super lively, fairly affordable, and has a history of its own. We definitely plan to visit again one day! 😁
If im not mistaken, the golden nugget in biloxi also says they have the largest nugget on display. I think they both weigh 60lbs I notice because i just left biloxi lol

And if you go this weekend, Sublime is playing for FREE at 9 pm Saturday on one of the stages. It will be insanely busy. So, if you like sublime, go on Saturday. If not, go Friday.

Videos like this are especially helpful for people who don’t visit downtown on their holiday to Vegas (personally I feel like Downtown is way better than the strip). There are a couple bonuses if I may: Laundry room behind commonwealth: Intimate Speakeasy where only about 10-12 people allowed in at a time. Quiet location & has an old school feel. Downtown Cocktail room: Per the website “THE OLDEST CONTINUALLY-OPERATING BAR IN DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS.” Another intimate spot with an excellent happy hour with half off alcohol & $10 cocktails. I remember when my buddy Ben bought the El Cortez. Nice guy but a little bit of a loose cannon. It was best if you didn’t even look at Virginia. That would set him off every time.
You should have mentioned the Match Play for travelers with boarding passes. El Cortez, The D & Golden Gate offer this. I’ve won a quick 75$ several times with this offer.
I like the casinos on Fremont and live music. But in general I am not a fan of the Fremount Experience. Between the drunks, people in the circles and the obnoxious behavior ...we started going less and less.

Nonononono. Before taking pics of costumed people on Fremont or the Strip, ASK them first what they expect and use that to decide. If you don't want to pay that, don't take the pic.
lol there is no expectation of privacy when you are in public. You don’t have to pay anyone for anything. They can ask/say to pay them but you don’t have to.

I am a Vegas regular. You're showing a very sanitized version of Fremont Street. It's dirty with buskers,, crowds, drunks, and loud music. The place is a public park, so 90% of the people there are not gambling or staying at the hotels. It has deteriorated dramatically over the years. There are no nice shops, only tacky souvenir stores with $4 t shirts and .99 cent ash trays. You are showing a very sanitized version of Fremont Street.

It’s a nice, compact area full of fun! Pizza at pop up isn’t our favorite but it’s good and cheap!!!

Taxis or Uber/Lyft are your best options. Taxis have rates posted from the airport and in some cases can be cheaper.
