  • ✅ Get up to 40% off hotels in Las Vegas by signing up here: plannin.com/en/search?googleR...
#1 - Sign up for the players clubs and login to the hotel website directly
Being signed up for the players club will also get you a ton more “freebies” and discounts. If you want to really learn about these programs you can check out my guide to Vegas players clubs.
#2 - Pay attention to your e-mail -- I’m always getting special offers
#3 - Book a “refundable” rate and check the rates regularly
I have saved hundreds of dollars just by rebooking my rate… a couple years ago we booked the Waldorf Astoria for $350 a night… and rebooked 3 days before for $150/night.
#4 - Book a prepaid rate (if you’re just a couple days out)
#5 - Use a good rewards earning credit card
I like the Chase Sapphire Reserve -- I value Ultimate Rewards points at 2 cents each. 3X on the CSR gets you 6% value back in points.
#6 - Book through Topcashback to earn cash back
#7 - Affiliate discounts (AAA, Senior, Military, First Responders, Students & Teachers)
#8 - Stay at a hotel with free parking
    Like the TI and Venetian
Sign up for the Caesars and MGM credit cards for free parking
You don’t have to pay for your stay with the card to get free parking, you just need to “have” one
If you’re a Hyatt elite member you can also match your status to Mlife for free parking at MGM hotels
#9 - Book using points -- There are tons of Marriotts, Hilton, Hyatts around Las Vegas. And many of the strip hotels are associated to one of these loyalty programs. You can book Mlife hotels with Hyatt points. I really like the Waldorf Astoria at Center Center that you can book with Hilton points.
#10 - Book your hotel as a package with the airline. I usually fly Southwest so I like Southwest Vacations.
    #11 - Stay mid-week and not when there’s a conference
    Check Las Vegas convention calendars
And avoid holidays.. Especially New Years
    #12 - Consider an off-strip hotel
Particularly one of the ones with free breakfast. Residence Inn, Springhill Suites, Hyatt Place, and Hilton Homewood Suites
#13 - Don’t move the items in the mini bar

Whenever we go to LV for more than three nights, we bring our own coffee, paper cups and filters and, upon arrival, buy a $15 basic drip coffeemaker and some milk. The milk goes into the ice bucket or minifridge. That way, we avoid the long lines in the morning for $6 coffees. At the end of the trip, we gift the coffeemaker to housekeeping or to other guests or staff that we've met.

    • @davidsigalow7349

@@jorgegarcia3635 Yes. If you're asking whether housekeeping cleans our coffeemaker or if they take it away during our stay, the answer is no. We clean it ourselves and, when we are departing, will offer it to housekeeping if they want it.
I hope that answers your question.

If you can find a WalMart, they actually have barebones, but still pretty solid coffeemakers for less than $10, most of the times!

Christmas is not actually big in Vegas and I've had really cheap rates staying even with the 25th landing in the middle of my stay; people more want to stay home with their families. Party holidays, like NYE, the Superbowl, long weekends... THOSE are gnarly.

@@TOPDOLLAR777 Ehh, I've booked hidden-offer/affiliate rates at these hotels for much less than what could be got direct through the hotel. We're talking like, 100USD a night average for 7 days in the spring with the resort fees explicitly included for V/P. I don't think I would be able to get a room for $50 + the $50 resort fee no matter how good the offer is from the players card unless I have a high status there.
