Whenever we go to LV for more than three nights, we bring our own coffee, paper cups and filters and, upon arrival, buy a $15 basic drip coffeemaker and some milk. The milk goes into the ice bucket or minifridge. That way, we avoid the long lines in the morning for $6 coffees. At the end of the trip, we gift the coffeemaker to housekeeping or to other guests or staff that we've met.
@@jorgegarcia3635 Yes. If you're asking whether housekeeping cleans our coffeemaker or if they take it away during our stay, the answer is no. We clean it ourselves and, when we are departing, will offer it to housekeeping if they want it. I hope that answers your question.
Me and my husband and best friends are going in September for our first time and I’m binge watching all your videos! The weekend we are going is so expensive because of punk rock bowling. But I’m gonna check out every week to see if i can get a cheaper rate. Thanks for the info!!
Just wanted to give a general THANK YOU for all your videos and all your travel tips. I have utilized quite a few of them and they are incredibly helpful! I'm actually going to Vegas at the end of the month so I will keep these in mind
Chris, this was great! You and I think a lot a like in our travel planning. The only other option I would mention in parking; if you are a MLife member Pearl or higher, you can self park for free at the MGM Resort properties. I Great option, cause I am NOT staying at TI! CAB 😄
Hi Chris. Awesome tips. I always book directly with the Cal in Downtown and after staying there for the first time, I got 3 or 4 nights comp rooms with no resort fess. Thanks for sharing and take care.
We have been booking our Vegas packages through Southwest flying out of Orlando and the deals are just fantastic. We stay 6 or 7 nights to include a weekend and usually stay at the Wynn. You can choose pretty much any hotel you like.
Good advice,as always! I do follow Jaycation and Say Hi to Mathew,Vlogs.Jaycation recently got some free room, yet had to pay a $50 per day resort fee.Is that resort fee mandatory? or not applicable at a smaller resort/hotel?
Hi Alex -- All of the Las Vegas hotels on the strip charge some sort of resort fee. It is particularly common for Las Vegas... but a really lame practice if you ask me
@@TOPDOLLAR777 Ehh, I've booked hidden-offer/affiliate rates at these hotels for much less than what could be got direct through the hotel. We're talking like, 100USD a night average for 7 days in the spring with the resort fees explicitly included for V/P. I don't think I would be able to get a room for $50 + the $50 resort fee no matter how good the offer is from the players card unless I have a high status there.
You said Avoid the holidays. However, I went to Las Vegas on Christmas and the room prices were pretty low in every hotel, does that have an explaination? I didn't book them myself, my brother paid for them, but he told me they were lower on Christmas Edit: Ahh maybe I recall we went BEFORE christmas, like you said
Christmas is not actually big in Vegas and I've had really cheap rates staying even with the 25th landing in the middle of my stay; people more want to stay home with their families. Party holidays, like NYE, the Superbowl, long weekends... THOSE are gnarly.
@@YellowProductions Thanks to you both. I did the days before Christmas in Vegas, and I guess we took the car to Los Angeles and celebrated there at a friend's house. Greetings from Spain

If you can find a WalMart, they actually have barebones, but still pretty solid coffeemakers for less than $10, most of the times!

Yellow Productions Plaza hotel 🏨 is of the strip? No resort fees? No problem?
El Cortez often send me free stays as a member of their players club. The upgraded cabana suites are my favorite.
Nice!
Great suggestion to book and then double check your room rate leading into your trip. I’ve found that majority of the time it’ll drop a good amount.
i followed this tip in the UK and saved £60, excellent advice!
I never thought about booking refundable, then rechecking! Awesome tip!

So is it a lot cheaper booking directly from the official site than using apps like trip advisor ?
For the big strip hotels in Vegas. Generally yes it's cheaper booking direct as a logged in member of their loyalty program
Great suggestions ❤️👍
Thanks Spot me!
just joined several reward memberships at several hotel and compared to hotel site and expedia. All prices all the same as before i joined
Great vid!

Yes I have got my hotel cheaper by checking the rates. Paris price match my hotel stay twice and I saved $200. Plus Paris parking is free.

I use the mgm card in Las Vegas

Las Vegas fees are out of control!
