might sound like crazy talk but ive always wondered which classes are most likely to receive items like (if they drop ofc) the bindings for thunderfury, the orb for the ragnaros hammer, the shards for atiesh or even who gets to do the scepter of the shifting sands q line in a guild, do gms take these rare items for themselves or close friends or do they usually go to the guy who gets the most out of using them, i dont know much abt vanilla endgame and this stuff is rly interesting
In my mental prepping to become a shaman tank, I was wondering if there is an overview over each dungeon; like number of single target/group pulls, what kinds of CC’s and damage types are thrown at your group, stuff like that..
Bags! What are they... where do they come from... how do they work? Questions that we ask ourselves in our daily lives. But the answers may surprise you!
15:21 Onyxia's Lair is not marked correctly on the map. It's the cave up to the North near The Wyrmbog. Not too important, just thought I'd point it out. Thanks for these videos, man. I'm having a blast and getting even more hyped!
Im so pumped for an hour long guide on BAGS!!! (Im obviously hungry for any content).. Next make 2 hour video on types of water!!! Or a 3 hour video on timmy in stormwind, i swear id watch it;) Love your videos:))
wow this is a good video idea that most players kinda only partially think about but is going to be a slightly major issue to everyone who is just so spoiled and used to retail such as myself. inventory management was a much required task and inventory space oh so precious
I've not even watched the first minute yet but already I'm getting those comfy, cozy feels that your videos always give me. Such a lovely vibe in your videos x
Excellent work Melderon. I thought I had all the bags bookmarked, but this guide is beyond comprehensive. Thanks for pointing out a few of my oversights. It's amazing that Classic WoW, really a cultural phenomenon in its time, is still fueling this sort of dedication.
This is the best video about WoW that I've ever seen. Thank you for reading all the information out loud so I could multi task. Amazing quality. Thank you!
When I saw this. I was like WTH a 1 hour video on bags, really. This video was EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE. So much, useful information. Awesome video. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
Not sure if it was mentioned by someone else, but during the stress test, 6 slot generic bags were available for 5 silver from General vendors along with the 8 slots (for 25 silver).
Great guide. One thing to add: Fishing pools of Bloodsail Wreckage can yield Mithril Bound trunks, which can contain the Traveler's Backpack (1.2% according to vanillawowdb). These trunks also contain thick and rugged leather, mageweave and runecloth, mana and healing pots, and some other stuff, so they can be lucrative to farm besides just the chance at a bag.
wow i love this channel! all you guys care about is informing the world on all the correct classic news and information. you even paused during the gelihast bag segment to explain the buff you can get. you truly care
24:26 Ooze covered bag (Sida's bag) can drop from ANY ooze from wetlands, I remember I just killed any ooze on sight, at the raptor area just northeast from menethil, or near the spider cave coming from loch modan or the gnolls along the river, there are ozzes and if you pick up the quest and go doing other quests you will definetely see it drop without specifically farming for it.
The only bag i suggest buying is the 12 slot herb bag from herbalism/alchemy vendors, it's a pretty big investment at the time for 12 silver but you wont have to go back to town to craft/sell all the time. You'll replace it with a higher slot bag or with cenarion herb bag later.
Holy shit dude, this will save me so much gamer time and my bags are gonna be organized insanely well. Thanks for the guide defcamp love your vids dude hahaha Its amazing how well put together this video is, anyways Im completely gonna min max my bags
My bad about the rep. I thought the Honored/PvP rank only applied to mounts. It applies to everything else as well. The best discount you can get is 10% from being honored and an additional 10% for having PvP rank 3. But I don't think PvP rank affects neutral factions. Anyone know? These changes have been made on the Google Slides.
With the quest for the Ooze covered bag in the wetlands, make sure to go for the crimson oozes inside the crypt. You can theoretically get them from the black oozes outside, but the drop rate is so low it will potentially take hours of killing the damn things!
Amazing work. It's way too deep on the whole topic, just exactly how i like it! Do you mind doing another one like this about fishing ? Couldn't find one as detailed as i want it to be. Covering the zones and items you can get out of the fished chests, is what i miss mostly.
Ahh, fishing. I remember awkwardly standing in the deep in Azshara to fish the last high-level fish I needed to level cooking. Those fish were so damn expensive.
Hehe nice to see someone else sorting the bags like I do! But quivers/ammo pouches do benefit others classes then just hunters, if you are a priest, mage, wlock you can always get a quiver/ammo pouches to get faster cast speed on a wand! I know it sounds silly but it does work
6:50 I love this. I can count on one hand how many other WoW youtubers/streamers use a one-bag addon. And it drives me crazy to see separated bags. Those bags are gonna fill up and spill over into other bags and it'll all be a big mess! Order for my bags. Hearths/teleports at the bottom, 'cuz they're never going to move Profession tools above that, because those too will never move Then gear, which in retail is mostly +speed gear for mog runs Food and consumables sit next to each other Last thing is anything that goes to bank or auction Everything above that goes to the vendor Quest items sit wherever they end up
я бы не сказал, что эта информация очень полезная, еще и растянуто имхо. но то качество с которым эти видео сделаны заслуживает большего количества подписчиков
These videos you and other people are making are really upping the hype!! Well done! Its amazing how classic wow was already so diverse and complex!! Amazing!! Keep them coming. I do enjoy the professions and gold farming other youtube made. Frostodamus i believe his name is...
This was SUPREMELY helpful. This is going to be underrated, but... This is crucial. As a lock (or any class in classic) this is something you're constantly managing, espeicailly before you get your Only bags. Ty so much
28:42 some fake news here you are talking about the system from TBC in vanilla it is: -10% for being honored (no further improvements for reputation) and -10% for having pvp rank 3 (or greater) they stuck
Love these guides guys! Realy helpfull to some of us classic noobs. Any plans to maybe do a guide about consumables and/or world buffs? Would love to see that!
As someone who's played RuneScape, WoW classic gives you a friggin mansion for an inventory in comparison. In RS, items stacking is the exception, not the rule. Here's the full list of what stacks in OSRS because that's what's easier to list: Runes to cast spells (most if not all spells need multiple types, so that's 4-5 slots of inventory gone), Ammunition for ranged weapons, Coins, Noted items (basically a placeholder in your inventory for an item that can be exchanged for the real item, and are only used for trading items or selling on the GE.), And purple sweets. A food item that heals 1-3 HP per one eaten. Everything else takes up one inventory space and we like it goddamnit. Admittedly in RS, your default bank capacity is 800 items, so, yeah.
I believe increased ranged attack speed does affect wands, so cloth wearers might consider equipping ammunition pouches while leveling to speed up their kills and cut some time off the grind, especially priests and mages who often spec into improved wand damage while leveling.
I use. Hearthstone first. Then totems (if shaman) then prof required items like knife/rod/spanner. Then consumables. Then quest items. then sellable trash.
I'm gonna just buy the 8 slot bags for the slots I am missing. It's an investment for the future. Having to drop items for new ones or skipping over items is just gonna net me less gold. So having them is more worth than not.
Going from a portable vendor mount and 32 slot bags to just 10-14 slot bags and the vendor being two zones over is going to be an experience, that's for sure.
After watching this whole video I feel so happy that classic is coming out, thanks for the vid, and I love the specific descriptions and locations of each bag! I'll be sure to take your advice and avoid bag vendors like the pleague, see ya in WoW man
On a fresh main or alt, I normally do NOT sell the smaller bags that are replaced with larger bags. I use the smaller bags for my bank alt vault or for my main or alts bank optional purchase bag slots. Once those are filled, then I sell the smaller bags that are replaced with larger bags. Don't forget, you still need bags on your alts and bank/vault alts. So don't sell the bags yet, send them to alts for even more bag space. :D
Very nice guide. I believe the location of Ribbly Screwspigot on the map that you show is wrong. If I'm not incorrect he is located in the Grim Guzzler just west of the circle in the middle of the map where Lord Incendius is placed. Otherwise a truly helpful video :)
Do I have mental issues? lol While watching that video I felt more and more excited to actually play Classic WoW on a permanant Blizzard server, especially to get that 8 bag slot from the Captain treasure quest in West Fall which is really good at that level.
Cool and informative video, but I'm pretty sure vendors sell six-slot bags as well. In a recent video, I saw Soupasoka, on a Vanilla server, buy some from a vendor in Undercity.
@@DefcampMelderonTV You're right, but here's a link to the video. At 4:59, it clearly shows a vendor selling a 6-slot bag. Might be a private server thing though. ruclips.net/video/LUTAUmjc-PA/видео.html
You missed out something, on official servers back in 2005. Low level players had a higher chance to find one (and only one) 6slot bag for the first 10 levels, almost as high as 10%, this later goes down to 0.whatever%, so players could still find them, but much much rarer.
The reputation discounts in the video are incorrect. In vanilla you don't get 5% per reputation level above friendly. You got 10% at honored and the other 10% was from getting Rank 3 in PvP.
If you can afford the real world cost, buy a 2nd subscription. Fill all your empty character slots with bank alts. You can sell one guild signature per account so park one alt per account where players are most likely to offer gold for signatures. Designate at least one alt as your auctioneer. Exchange items via the trade window instead of the mail box to save on time and postage. Note that you can dual box the leveling quests. If you are ambitious, you can level a mage with enchanting on each account. Those mages can port, enchant, and provide conjured consumables to all of your alts. You can move alts to an inn in your quest zone to use their bag space for storage. Don't spend coin or effort on a banker you might want to replace or delete in the future.
It takes 46 days to make one bottomless bag due to the mooncloth requirement(unless you buy the mooncloth off the AH obviously), that's insane, we can potentially raid Ony 7 times and therefore get 7 18 slot bag drops in that same time frame. Crazy.
So 1-15 see if you are lucky with drops go to barrens for coin pouch, deveat hyde, snakepouch, then test your luck tell uldum, brd and explorer's pouch. Then finally step in with mooncloth bag and demon bag.
Storage is extremely cramped in Classic. It may be the largest culture shock of all for people who've been playing BFA, 30-slot bags, guild banks, void storage, mat storage, and instant mail too. If you did get cramped you could summon a trash vendor or a mailbox even in a dungeon. I forgot we had to carry assorted reagents to cast certain spells in the early game. I'm not complaining...just trying to adjust.
You can buy 6 slot bags (small brown pouch) for 5 silver.which is a pretty small investment for the space (compared to no bag at all). You could buy some from the AH no guarantee, and it takes effort to make the trip... The rest of them aren't worth it of course.

Don’t know why you guys don’t have more subs, though I expect that to change when Classic drops. Great guide, keep it up
28:42 some fake news here
you are talking about the system from TBC
in vanilla it is: -10% for being honored (no further improvements for reputation)
and -10% for having pvp rank 3 (or greater)
they stuck
That's for mounts
@@DefcampMelderonTV that's for all.
And factions aside from 4 race related and 3BG don't give any discount for pvp rank.
@@abrvalg321 You're right! I made a correction on the slides
@@DefcampMelderonTV Can't you also add annotations to the video so people watching it wouldn't get the wrong idea?
I'm back here watching in 2020 learning how to make my Hardcore run a little easier by upping my bag space. Thanks.
Love these guides guys! Realy helpfull to some of us classic noobs. Any plans to maybe do a guide about consumables and/or world buffs? Would love to see that!
love the vids man even though I am an old school wow head and playing voldemort servers still nice to get that hype up with all the videos!
I am so excited for classic! God damn I can't wait!
I'm super excited about Classic, but the one part I'm dreading is the bag/inventory situation! Remember the Green Hills of Stranglethorn?
Mate, this is an awesome guide and so well put together, this guide alone deserves a sub!!
Well done on this, it's very impressive
I remember starting a new character and having a full set of 6 slot bags by lvl 10. I was so happy
Wow. This is EXACTLY how I organize my inventory. I'm so glad I'm not weird and OCD after all! ^_^
Great and unique video yet again. Love these. Thanks bro
Only Melderon could make a 1 hour video on inventory :)
I use. Hearthstone first. Then totems (if shaman) then prof required items like knife/rod/spanner. Then consumables. Then quest items. then sellable trash.
Keep up the good job guys, great videos
I didn't think I needed 1h on bag, but I'm glad I did.
As much as we are laughing at this video, this is by far one of the most important videos to watch.
I'm gonna just buy the 8 slot bags for the slots I am missing. It's an investment for the future. Having to drop items for new ones or skipping over items is just gonna net me less gold. So having them is more worth than not.
definitely buy bags, just don't buy them from a vendor!
I'll be sure to take your advice and avoid bag vendors like the pleague, see ya in WoW man
Great job getting this video in the bag!!!
38:30 at this point I'm wondering how many people actually noticed the tent has the goblin's texture XD
A 1 hour long bag video?! Holy crap insta click!
Pro tip: watch the video at x2 speed
Very nice guide. I believe the location of Ribbly Screwspigot on the map that you show is wrong. If I'm not incorrect he is located in the Grim Guzzler just west of the circle in the middle of the map where Lord Incendius is placed. Otherwise a truly helpful video :)
Bags for Days! Great video my dudes!
Great video! Very helpful.
Warriors should have their own bag just for food that is bigger than basic normal bags like the lock shards bags. *Warrior need food, badly*
Quivers also increase wand attack speed so this is a big must have for priests due to how much they wand while leveling.
Wait, this sounds so stupid, that it has to be true. Need to try it out on a mage.
I think they will fix that
Random tip: if your I priest apex into improved wand and get a quiver. Makes early levels trivial
The Deviant Hide Bag is NOT Horde specific
classic.wowhead.com/item=918/deviate-hide-pack
Do I have mental issues? lol While watching that video I felt more and more excited to actually play Classic WoW on a permanant Blizzard server, especially to get that 8 bag slot from the Captain treasure quest in West Fall which is really good at that level.
journeyman's backpack & travelers backpack
Cool and informative video, but I'm pretty sure vendors sell six-slot bags as well.
In a recent video, I saw Soupasoka, on a Vanilla server, buy some from a vendor in Undercity.
Hmm interesting, they were not in the DB
@@DefcampMelderonTV You're right, but here's a link to the video.
At 4:59, it clearly shows a vendor selling a 6-slot bag. Might be a private server thing though.

Really good video, a lot of work went into this, thank you 👍
You missed out something, on official servers back in 2005. Low level players had a higher chance to find one (and only one) 6slot bag for the first 10 levels, almost as high as 10%, this later goes down to 0.whatever%, so players could still find them, but much much rarer.
Cloth level ranges (estaminate) and bag sizes | World drop mob ranges of bags of the same sizes
1-15 Linen (6) | 1-17
15-30 Wool (8) | 9-25
35-40 Silk (10) | 19-32
45-50 Mageweave (12) | 24-42
50-60 Runecloth (14) | 39-60
The reputation discounts in the video are incorrect. In vanilla you don't get 5% per reputation level above friendly. You got 10% at honored and the other 10% was from getting Rank 3 in PvP.
cant believe im looking at bag guides now
If you can afford the real world cost, buy a 2nd subscription.
Crazy.
The video I didn’t realize I needed!
nice vid man keep up the good work.
your faction discounts aren't correct. In vanilla 10% discount comes from reputation, 10% comes from pvp rank.
I thought that was only for mounts
You're right. Updated on slides
Its also good to have a quiver if your a wand user for 1-15 it gives a boost
You can actualy not share the quest Captain Sander's Hidden Treasure but you can trade the Item which starts the Quest :)
best hour of the day
great guide, I never knew that travelers bags were world drops haha
Quivers also increase attack speed for wands, something I would consider valuable while leveling.
That probably won't work in Classic
Deviate hide bag quest is not horde specific.
The bag is obtainable only for horde as reward from Q:
classic.wowhead.com/quest=1486/deviate-hides
@@_Libosido not true, its obtainable as alliance aswell, did it yesterday
You said a quiver only helps hunters but it also increase a wand attack speed. I know it sounds stupid but I tested it and it does work.
It does not work on the beta
I'm not complaining...just trying to adjust.
great content boys
Thanks so much for this guide ; )
You can buy 6 slot bags (small brown pouch) for 5 silver.which is a pretty small investment for the space (compared to no bag at all). You could buy some from the AH no guarantee, and it takes effort to make the trip...
The rest of them aren't worth it of course.
Thx man awesome guide !!!
