@@Frostadamus Yea same, herb and skinning until I get my mount and then will drop skinning for tailoring. Finally decided to main a mage. May take Alchemy at 60 sometime though.
Classic had a much closer community and the few players dedicated enough to their chosen professions quickly earned a name for themselves for rare crafts few others had unlocked. Tipping was common practise for hard-to-find enchants, gear and consumables. Some were prolific enough to afford epic mounts for secondary characters from tipping alone. Sometimes investing in a profession could make you famous server-wide and very, very rich

I used to make em and sell them in the ah in BC.. It transmogs you into a male or female human pirate or ninja. Edit: I see you covered this, I commented before watching the whole video.
Yup. Also covered deviate fish on my fishing guide. But In that guide I said you can fish them only in walling caverns, but you can get them from the ponds outside in the barrens oasis.
Of everything on youtube that I listen to that consists of someone narrating something, (which is a lot lol), Frost's voice is by far the most lovely and relaxing to listen to, on top of being the most informative about not only the info we were originally after, but also the lore and history of the area where the video takes place. This adds so much to the wonderful immersion and passion for this game which I, and I'm sure many others love.

Are we sure the recipe for the Smoked Desert Dumplings will be released with AQ? Since it’s a cooking questline in Silithus and not a drop from raids/dungeons. How do we know if Blizzard will go progressive other than dungeon/raid releases?
Hey Frost, thanks for the answer. I just assumed the quest would be released at launch, but I guess only time will tell. I’ve talked with Shedo (feral druid expert) about it, and he seems to share the same opinion.
i never did this on true vanilla much but on the private servers i got into the habbit of buying patterns in major cities or places like everlook and selling those on the ah. My favorites were the alchemy recipes you buy in undercity. i would buy 1 of each every time i was there and save them up and sell em for up to 4g each and don't even get me started on what you can charge for a recipe for major healing potion
I found for some reason the first levels of cooking a little bit more difficult for the horde side since one of the first recipes you need coyote meat and the only place available is Westfall.
mining + skinning for leveling and save all the mining mats in the bank. Once you're 60, power level engineering and drop skinning. Keep mining to fuel engineering. Or drop mining and pay for mats.
A video idea for new players to the classic/vanilla scene would be a list of white items that actually has some value down the road. Either leading to something crafted or something for a quest etc. I feel like there could be a lot of gold wasted vendoring many of those things.
Is it really important to up fishing and cooking (or just cooking), to every characters? I thought to up for only one character and then share to others. I don't know if it's a good idea. Someone? And the video is very great~
Yeah, sometimes it's the little things that matter most. It was another game, but I was playing a tank and was keeping up with my enchanting and cooking skills so I had the best I could get. At the time, it was a combined 32 HP. Sounds tiny, eh? It is. Well, one dungeon we got to the last boss and the healer was more focused on the party's health bar than his own. We managed to beat the boss because he died late in the fight, but not having any heals made it terrifying! At the end of the fight, I looked at my health bar. It read "25". Taking into account some slow natural healing over time when out of combat, I can tell you with great certainty that enchanting alone did not save my life even though it granted the greater bonus. That Tiny Steak of Minuscule Stamina meant that instead of a long slog through a big dungeon with no mount, I could merrily loot and swap specs to res the healer. Please. Learn. Cooking. Even if you're a Mage and can just conjure food, it won't give you a potentially life-saving buff.
Hey Frost! Thanks for the effort on these! I'm wondering if you have any thoughts for those of us who plan to be ahead-of-the-curve when it comes to hitting max-level. If you were 60 while everyone else was still leveling, what are the things you'd do?
