Gohan may lose his new forms and later regain them, Picolo will act has a trainer and protector And Goten and Trunks will also do the same old tricks because thats what their characters are 😅 Heck Goten was an excuse to have somelike Kid goku in the story much like Frost is compared to Frieza Dont expect much of those 2(Goten and Kid trunks) The better one is the future trunks and that wont change

Yeah I've been super curious how they're going to handle the English dub. For example ... will Chris Sabat do KID Vegeta?! It'll be odd. I agree that I miss Stephanie's Kid Goku & Kid Gohan!
Its because this show is before db super as we all know is that super wil return after daima most likely with broly arc and the super hero arc where gohan wil shine but in daima we wil most likely see gohan turn into the whimpsie he became during the first parts of super the next dbs arc with broly wil be most likely last dbs with goku and vegeta shining then the last arc with beast gohan where gohan wil shine and end the dbs series giving gohan the moment to end it as ge was suposed to end dbz with cell saga
DB Fans are still perfer seeing Gohan as a kid instead of adult, because kid version was when Gohan shines the most. Remember during Majin Boo arc, not just Vegeta, even Goku admit Gohan wasn't strong as when he was little, yet that was before when he fought evil Boo.
Because that’s the era where Gohan was most involved in the story. With the peak being the cell games arc. He was slowly being sidelined towards the end of the buu saga. In Super, he’s just a side character fighting fodders. Most where he’s centre stage is Super hero with Beast mode, which heavily resembles SSJ2 . So you see why people prefer kid Gohan .
Gohan power is dependent on rage. Gohan was more angry in Cell Games than in 25th Tenkaichi Budokai. Or maybe it's because he not trained. After Z sword training I'm sure he was much stronger.
why can't they just make a serious dragonball story.... Super was so over the top but had some solid moments. Can we get a serious story with real risk lol
I get what you mean but Toriyama seemed more interested in action comedy. If you look at his entire body of work, Dragon Ball Z's more serious action was the *outlier* -- Dr Slump, Dragon Ball, Sand Land, Jaco, Super, etc. The man was goofy! The Super manga is pretty hardcore though, definitely read the Moro arc if you haven't already.
I can’t see Gohan being the only one to still be an adult as that would mean he will have full access to all of his power, which would take away from the jeopardy
He probably will not join Goku & the others on the main adventure for one reason or another (raising a kid, work, the usual suspects for Gohan). It's just too odd how he's not been in any marketing material whatsoever.
It depends how turning into a kid works. If they're reverted to their child power levels, the problem with kid Gohan is that he's SOOOO much more powerful than kid Goku and kid Vegeta. And don't kid Goku and kid Gohan have the same voice in Japan? That could be another reason to avoid putting them together and why Goten is a baby.
I don’t know what they have planned for Gohan in Diama, but at least in the manga, Gohan has continued training post superhero, gaining better control of Beast and went toe to toe against MUI Goku

I think that Toriyama has stated in multiple interviews that Piccolo was his favourite character (plus, because Akira Toriyama having his own character in Dragon Ball canon already. I do not think Gohan is his stand in. Though it IS Toyotaro who LOVES Gohan, and tries to include him more into the story every time in the manga). Honestly: With Toyotaro now leading the Dragon Ball franchise. we could definitely see more Gohan having a bigger role. And him being the only adult would be cool. However, with Gohan now being on par, if not slightly stronger then Goku in the manga, it would take away most of the urgency if Gohan would be able to use his full power against the threats, while the rest of the cast would be unable to do so. ^^;

My issue is that if we get kid gohan and kid goku it will be the same voice actor talking to themselves which will just sound weird in English.

My theory is it's probably because since he got a comeback in superhero they didn't want to ruin it for the fans so they didn't show him at all
