- Based in Dorset in the UK, Monkey World is the largest monkey and ape rescue centre on the planet. For nearly three decades, the team has saved countless primates - across 20 countries - from lives of cruelty, abuse, and neglect.
This safe haven is now home to more than 200 monkeys and apes. The dedicated staff never stop in their quest to save animals from being mistreated by owners, ending up in laboratories or being exploited in the entertainment industry.

I love that Oshein is such a good maternal figure. It’s amazing watching her transform back to orangutan behavior.
I love Oshein, she is a Niveau person
It's so nìce to see Holly back as a Vet! Must be very comforting to some of the primates who have known her when she was care staff. Congrats to Holly for her new position at Monkey World 🥰😊
I'm curious as to whether or not some of the woolly monkeys (which was her section) recognised her.
@@DG-zv4bl I have no doubt they did they recognize scent and sound and vision especially if she has been around them for a while before leaving and I'm glad she's back to I hope she continues to stay on for a very long time! Her and John Lewis and the other vets have been phenomenal along with Jeremy and Allison and the rest of the crew they're just all amazing!
It melts my heart to see how much oshin has changed. It's good to know that there is a safe haven for these primates when the world does them a Disservice.
I am pretty much housebound. I can’t thank the team enough for the care they provide & making these videos for the world to watch ♥️🇨🇦♥️
Miss Cathy I am the same never believe you are not alone . I pray we both at least get to enjoy our spring days before it gets to hot.
Same here. 😘
😊♥️🇨🇦
I totally agree darling! ❤ From 🇺🇲
I’m with all of you. We are so fortunate to have these videos in our days. Makes me feel better and I would love to help raise a newborn primate probably because I was a nurse for moms and babies for years. Give me a woolly baby to foster and I will be there!
Maureen is beautiful stumpy monkey I absolutely love her eyes, there the sweetest
So glad to see problematic teeth were taken care of. Always LOVE to see the Stumpy's, beautiful Maureen, such soulful eyes.
Woolly monkeys are fast becoming my favorite little monkeys! They are so loving and caring to each other. The mamas and daddys are so attentive to their baby woollies, such a joy to watch them.
Thank you, Monkey World!💞💕💞
That is definitely one heck of an Odd Couple...❤😊
I just love this show. I had to rush home to watch it as soon as I got the notification. Maureen’s eyes really got me! I’m so grateful for all the caretakers.
Osheen and her babies she turned out to be a real sweetheart and she probably remembers her human mother showing her affection and sharing food with her. Good job osheens real momma you taught her well lol other than the bad eating habit osheens turned out to be a remarkable adoptive Mommy❤❤
I hope her human mother visits her often and sees how much she progressed I remember her so clearly out of all the owners because it was just obvious how much she loved her.
@@ShaiShai1I remember her saying she hopes Oshine has babies of her own and she thought she’d have great maternal instincts, and she was right, she’s great with the babies!
Everything is on hold while MW is on!❤😉
Another great episode. Bless all the fur babies and the crew. Thank you.
Agree wholeheartedly 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦
Poor Maureen. I hope she gets along well after the removal of those teeth. Makes me so sad, the hell these sweet monkeys endured by the hands of humans at labs. There are unnecessary experiments being done on animals that is nothing short of barbaric and almost sadistic! This needs to stop asap!!! (See what Elon Musk was doing to monkeys brains🤬😭🙈)
The Stumpies are my favourites. Their little wise faces and you can tell how smart they are. I hope she feels better after her dental surgery.
These videos always brighten my day. With so much sadness in the world, this always warms and blesses my heart. Brings a smile 😊!!! The Stumpies won my heart from day one. So glad they have a good life in their later years after so much trauma. I always love seeing them. Thanks to all the care teams and their hard work!!!
God bless all of you guys at Monkey world... Jeremy is totally my spirit animal tho💯🙏😂😜💜💙💜💙
The faces of the stumpiest are so expressive in their eyes. But the Rex is so astonishing.
I can’t thank you enough for these videos. I appreciate being able to watch them. You all are wonderful!
I'm from Colorado springs CO USA and I'M GOING TO BE VISITING MONKEY WORLD NEXT MONTH!!!
That baby Woolie is the cutest 😍 little scrap Ive ever seen! I used to hate monkeys because one bit me deeply, but This show cured me.
Yay! Monkey World 😊❤🦧
I can't believe how cat-like the patus monkey is...she's svelte like a cheetah and moves with the grace of a ballerina! What a remarkable primate!
The guenon monkeys colouring is so lovely.
My favorite stumpy Maureen 🤗 What a beautiful girl.😘
I love her! Her eyes though ❤ (I love all the stumpy's)
@@AngieJames4172 they're my favorite 🤗
Such expressive eyes!
😘 gorgeous eyes but you can see alot of pain they endured in there're eyes as well🥺😭
@@newfee1967 Oh yes, I know, they are mine as well. 🥰 It's hard to not love them. That's for sure. ( For us two anyway!!) 🥰
Jeremy definitely has a soft spot for Macaques. He was petting Holly after her procedure
I love Jeremy!!!
Jeremy is so very great and loving ❤️ with all the primates😇🥰😍🥰😊☺️😊☺️🤗🤗🤗😇!!! I can just see him living at the park and getting along better with them than with the other two legged primates 😄😄😃😀😃😄!! The four legged primates don't give people grief, they are honest, loving and loyal😊☺️😊☺️😊🤗🤗🤗🤗!!
Love Xingus new name 😇🥰😍🥰😍🥰😇, so precious!! Welcome to the world 🌎 ✨️ ♥️, I love the Woolly monkeys🐒🥰😍🥰
Yes!!
I love this show so much I started watching it from the 1st season again.
Why no recent videos? These are yrs ago! I want to see the the monkeys as they are now! I love these videos!
These will only be shown on the main TV channel or streaming service. Later they are sold to other channels like You Tube etc. So you can watch the latest if you are willing to pay.
If you want to see current videos, guess you'll have to move to the UK, the only place where current videos are shown!😉😆
One question, why don't you want to see how they've been in years past? I love knowing these primates history in life, especially how theyve thrived since coming to Monkey World
@@ritamccomas9271 I do like past videos but I’d like to see how they are today!
This show has me now looking for animal shelters I can volunteer at IDC what animals i just want to do it paid or not
Hey all- Monkey world has social media. It's a great way to get daily up to date short posts on random primates.
Oh yea I wanna see what's lurking in the chimp incloser. I can't wait for tomorrow!!!..Lol
Guenons and Patas peacefully cooperate and cohabitate in the same trees in the forest and intermingle well as a groups and as individuals, quite well. So I don't foresee this grouping being a problem at all, especially since most are former pets, not wild, and Lemur George and the Patas are quite elderly, no fuss individuals already devoted to one another and settled in.
I found a video on RUclips that was posted 4 years ago and watched it on the same day of the episode where Allison went to get the 2 guenons. That video showed the patas monkey and the guenons in an outside enclosure at Monkey World. They were sitting together on one of the wooden platforms 😊 looks like they get along great ❤️🐒
@@jenfox3980 Hi Jen....did that video happen to be about two wild troop groups in one of the forests in Africa, where the two species shared the same group of trees and all watched out for predators and understood the language of the other species and also gave refuge to the monkeys from the other species troop who had to leave their troups when they reached puberty and breeding age?
@@jenfox3980 where did you find that video? I'd love to see that one❤
@Rita McComas it was called Monkey World by RUclipsr rochez. The guenons and the patas monkey were at the very beginning. It's a sweet lady who gets emotional with her interaction with orangutan Amy ❤️🦧😊
@PandoraBVV the video I was talking about was from a couple who were visiting Monkey World and recorded their visit there. The one you mentioned sounds interesting! Do you remember what is was called?
thanks ralf lie the music;D
Is it just my imagination or do the primates seem to have a lot of dental problems?
From their old life of junk food as pets.
🇨🇦🍁🙃🐒
My name is Maureen also & I'm old too. 😘
You are not alone, even tho my name is Rita!😫😉😆
Does anyone know how their fur feels and if they have a bad odor?
where is twin baby chimpazee please
Seeing how they love there food. Those nasty teeth have to be fixed. So they can feel better .
The Odd couple needs their own kids book series.
