Kinda surprised Egg's favourite DLC doesn't have a must play tier map on it. :D I like these videos I come back to the map tiers to select my new city map. By the end of the video I feel like you're bored with tiering maps now, after doing almost all of them. :D Your videos always make me smile, thank you Egg!
If anyone is interested in playing the mountain meadows map, there is a remastered vanilla version in the steam workshop, whichi is improved in absolutely any aspect. One of my favourites.
I think Honu island is a great choice for console limited to 9 tiles. You can complete the entire island and unlock 4 of the smaller islands without having to stop building at an awkward place where it just wouldn't make sense.
Great video. Really teaches me what to look for in a good map and what features makes a difference. Am new to this game and currently working through your Burgusia series. A great series for beginners like me to see how to build a great looking city. Thanks
Cavern Coast looks like it could be fun for an 81 tile build (if only I wasn't playing on ps4!) with the proviso that you weren't really building a big metropolis but rather a county with multiple small towns/villages etc. I could see the appeal in that
I was waiting for another one of these. I play this game all the time, but I guess this just changes my views on some maps is the reason why I like these.
As a beginner I enjoyed Cavern Cove map. Starting tile became beautiful agriculture center with small city at the water edge and luxury neighborhood on mountain slope. Next tile thrived on lumber industry and had a couple of village type neighborhoods, lake area was fishing theme villages and flat peninsula with lighthouse was urban and tourist center, highway extended to it and to sea ports. Metro system was easy to establish, and I didnt miss railroad that much. Except for Pine Rivers and Seven Lakes, that was the most enjoyable and most natural looking city I made so far.
In regards to the "roller coaster" highways - i'd like to see you revisit the same maps w/ 25 tile mod. Ideally, maps arent made for 81 tile players, so i'm curious to know if the things you point out as faults are really of no concern/value (again, in terms of playing the 9 of 25, if you will)
It would be interesting to see all of your map rankings on one chart. I really like the evaluations Egg.
I can out that in the community tab when we've done them all 😊
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG That would be great...Excelent video...
Need this badly

Tbh I just wanna see egg pump out a 10k-30k city on every one of these maps
Very interesting, thanks for another great video, Egg! :D

I actually wanted you to make a tier map from dlc park life, and you did, thanks!
What, no cheeky search results in the tabs?
Lol! I thought I'd leave them out to see if anyone noticed 😂 guess I got my answer! I'll bring them back next time 😉
1:18 anyone else see that it looks like France
Yea
Will watch later, being accused of boomer behavior by my daughter for having the volume too loud
lol
lol
My husband bought me headphones! (He also gifted me the Airport DLC so it all works out in the end.)
@@duckpond7856 we were in the car waiting to go into school and I just wanted to watch a couple minutes, and got roasted 😃

Very British of you to suggest colonizing an island
Wow I'm actual early for once, great video
For a DLC on greenery and topography, these maps are ironically terrible.
I'm pretty sure I've never played on any of these maps.
for pine rivers, I like it because I could make an extensive ferry network
Honu island is the best map with nine tiles, because you get the whole island and the one to the north.
Just me or Cavern Coast looks like France?
I've seen worse creator-made maps, where the highway is bridged at the end of the map, so you can't fix it.
you should play Foundation.
Uploaded today :)
Correction: Mountain Meadows is European themes I think. You said Temperate.
They are kind of bite.
