This was very helpful, thank you, sir!
I was doing my research on mma mats... tile vs roll up... your point about the 2 inch thick flexi connect dollamur mats being useable by older folks for other disciplines (i plan on using the mats for muay thai / kbox pad work) like Judo is a really good point that I have missed.
Wow thanks a lot for this
I would love to see a comparison between the DAX Tatami and Dollamur's Swain Tatami.
I need mat which can hold me with cycling shoes and plastic clips-sorta scratchless
I bought the tatami mats 10 years ago, using 3 hrs a day for 5 days. most of the skins are coming off now. I guess because of vacuuming.
would tatami be good using it instead of carpet?
How good is tatami at eating noise?
Do you tape the mats? Also, how do you clean them?
The blue Dollamur sample that you're holding in
The right channel of your audio is missing. Thanks for all the info though
Can you use any of these mate for grass
"slick" mats can be slippery when wet but you're expected to wear shoes like sambo/wrestling (sambo are leather bottom wrestling are rubber so you get much more intense grip with wrestling shoes however this can be more dangerous especially with knee "folding" IE:kani basami) whereas martial arts mats are textured for grip (meant to be used barefoot) however they can produce some nasty Matt burn... personally I prefer textured, just wear some kneepads to mitigate the burn.
Comparing cars using Mercedes and BMWs is a terrible idea. Just take a look in the car magazines. High-priced cars have all kinds of expensive problems moreso than cheap cars like electrical.
Why do you say you make them, then say it's made in Germany?
