Hearing the Band reverberate through the Quad is reminiscent of 1980s Corps Trip Saturday parades through downtown Houston -- when their thunderous cadence set off the burglar alarms in closed stores all down Main Street.
Gen. Patton once said “ I’ll win the battle with a battalion of West Point Grads, I’ll win the war with a handful of Aggies !!! “ My Grandfather worked with the incredible Gen. Earl Rudder in the mid 60s to change Texas A&M from an all male military only, to a co-ed premier research university. It took years, and unfortunately Gen. Rudder passed before he was able to see his vision complete, Texas A&M has become exactly what he wanted, with the Corps of Cadets averaging about 4,000 students of the total 60,000 students. Gig’Em Aggies
Seeing this number of patriotic military personnel on the campus of an American educational institution gives me hope for the future of the USA.
Indeed!

Senior Corps of Cadet uniform looks awesome !
Totally agree! 👍
That Senior year in the Corps, featuring those boots among other Senior privileges, passes in an eyeblink.
