Yeah…brought back memories of doing halftime shows and competitions as a trombone player in HS. Man I wish we had at least 5% of the visuals these performers did. It was fun but not very impressive…LOL

However, when Tyrannasaurus Rex ATE the guy with the Michigan jersey, I told my OSU friend "that was worth the price of admission"! They sound as good as they march. I was in a high school band, and I was impressed.
There is a reason these huge college marching bands are usually made of about 5% music majors. That’s not a bad thing at all, but take it from a former music major, there is noooo way I could have handled it.

The average person does not knownthe time and hard work thst goes into a show like this. Its not just a few pratices and go with it. This is years on learning the art of marching, your instrument, team work and so mich more. The move drumline had a saying "one band one sound". Its true, very rearly do you hear one member of the band. More schools need to put their money in the arts.
