    Amazing results Roger! Considering how overcast it looked they really turned out nice… these landscape photography videos are very informative for me too as i am no good landscape photographer so thank you. Great video, have a great week.

      Thanks for the kind comment. It is amazing how sometimes tweaking sliders in the raw converter can improve shots taken in poor conditions. Glad you liked the video.

      Thanks for the kind comment Terry, and also for subscribing to my channel. The talk seemed to go well, and Selby is a very friendly club. Nice to chat to another OM1 user .

      Thanks David. I have managed to get four videos out of the weeks trip. The next two will be on a day around Derwent Water and a couple of sessions at the north end of Crummock Water.

      @@rogerhance5883 Excellent. I look forward to seeing them. I’ve never really been to the Lake District so don’t know the area at all, which makes your videos, for me, all the better. Anyway super effort.

      @@rogerhance5883 Hi Roger. I would dearly loved to have done so, but regrettably I stopped running the tours after my stroke in 2018 and unfortunately prior to that non of us were really doing video. Truthfully I should have done but now it would be relatively basic stuff compared to what you can achieve these days. So unfortunately I just wouldn’t have the video to back up a video, If I was still going then I’d love to have video and could probably achieve many, many RUclips clips, it would also have been a great marketing tool, unfortunately, for me it wasn’t to be. Even though she still travels Dawn never got into video I’m afraid.

    Some cracking images, Roger. I'm amazed you can get sharp images handheld at 1.6 seconds!

    • @rogerhance5883
      @rogerhance5883  8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for commenting. I am not saying that every shot is pin sharp at 1.6 seconds, but if I take four or five, I am pretty sure at least one will be O.K. Your supposed to get about 7 stops of image stabilization with Olympus cameras, so thats a big advantage.

    • @BadgerBotherer1
      @BadgerBotherer1 8 месяцев назад

      @@rogerhance5883 Obviously you get much better stabilization than I do on my Canon. You and Mike Lane are tipping me towards switching to Olympus! Keep up the good work!

    Great video, thank you for taking the trouble to make it. What size are your Lee filters please?

    • @rogerhance5883
      @rogerhance5883  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for the kind comment about the video. Glad you liked it. The Lee filters are the 100mm size. To be honest, I bought these when I was using my Canon full frame system, and I needed to have them that size or I would have had some vignetting. With the smaller M4T system, I could get away with using the smaller sized filters. If I was buying again from scratch, I would probably go for the Kase or NiSi filters. Once you have bought into a filter system, its expensive to change !

    • @MrDs131
      @MrDs131 8 месяцев назад

      Would love to hear about your transition to M4T. Always an interesting tale.
