Well, the problem I always have I try to make a lemony potatoes recipe is that the lemon becomes very bitter after it's cooked. What do you think I'm doing wrong??? My lemons are always fresh.
Do you add the entire lemon to the pan. I know that some chefs like to do this but, I am not a fan because of that very same problem. The food becomes bitter! Some lemons are also more bitter than others. The pith (white part) is what gives a very bitter taste. If you're adding lemon zest, make sure to add just the yellow part, otherwise, that should not happen. Hope this helps!!
